I have been gone obviously, and you do NOT want to know where I have been.

Anyways, I think by the end of the week I will have a few more fakemon that I've developed in my absence:

A dark/dragon antimatter black dragon that has purple scales as well
A fakemon based off of modern warfare Juggernauts (steel/fight)
    A Fire/ghost smoke ball
    A psychic/water mermaid
And; a dark/steel construction vehicle like pokemon with outragously high defense and attack (legendary)

Oh gosh, it's been a while, huh? Now that November's out of the way, I'm quite a bit freer to show up.

@ShinyRaikou: Sorry it took a few days. I have to say, Vemodo works really well for a Komodo Dragon fakemon. Accurate typing and good moves. Although, would the bite and fang moves be appropriate? I thought they had bad teeth. Or maybe that was another lizard. Anyhow, welcome to the club!

@Mew-100: with that Pokedex entry, I'm surprised Budigen doesn't learn Chatter or Hyper Voice.

    @legnek: those sound interesting. Hi!

@Infernape77: Well your fakemon are so good! What's to say about them? Those are pretty awesome legendaries. Did you post Divvirawa before? Cuase it's a flying whale! I wanna know more about it.

I was doodling random things and made some potential fakemon. I haven't given them proper thought yet, unfortunately. But one of them is a Grass/Dragon line called Snippy, Snappy, and Snarky. Based off of snapdragons. I know they'll be brightly colored, orange and green most likely. They sound like they should be smaller than most dragons, maybe the cute sort. Any thoughts on that?
Pokedex OS- Still trying to capture every single Pokemon out there in words: 648/718 Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh complete!

Fluer Noir- A story of a black flower, a shameful history, and magic.

    Woah, quite a bit of stuff's happened since I was last here! I better start reviewing;

@FlyShyGuy, I'm no mathematical unit converter, but the height of Daubuster (0.98 meters) close to Ariados' height (around 3 ft.)? How would Daubuster eat something close to its own height? Unless it has Munchlax powers or something.

@Infernape77, I'm guessing Varasen will become part Poison type later on. It reminds me of a Baby Dodongo...

@profpeanut, so that's what they're working on? I don't have a Smogon account there but I do like their CAP stuff. Sketch will definitely be intersting... And yeah, Hail is devastating if you stay in it too long.

@Mew-100, I'm liking the Budigen line already.

@Alder, Pumpurs sounds awesome if it can learn Shell Smash. It took a while to remember that pumpkins technically have shells. Is it a legendary though? If it gets its own event its probably legendary, unless you can get them from other means.

@ShinyRaikou, pretty cool. Doesn't look like it would evolve, but it does look like it needs a bit more oomph in its attacks.

@legnak, hey I made a smoke ball Fakemon too, Swobalt. It was Poison/Normal though, and was more on spouting poisonous fumes. Merene is a good name for a mermaid.

Since I'm done with the Ubinoh region, I'm thinking of new Fakemon for a new region. Here are my basic ideas with their thought names:

    Sponge-2 Form (Demo, Glass) (Demonge---Glazclonge)
Bronze, Silver, and Gold-3 Form (Copponze-Silvagg-Goldauh)
Ice skates-2 Form, Gender (Biksate---Stockee if male, Figulate if female)
    Yo-Yo-2 Form (Yoyband---Axlyore)
    Deathstalker scorpion-2 form (Leilestin---Ledelstolk)
    Ozone layer (Woezoen)
Fire and ice-2 form, dual evolution (Meltol---either Cubetrolc or Yiguang)

I'm back with a lot of stuff for Lightside and Darkside versions.

First off, here are the badges. I went with a uniform shape but different designs due to the fact that they slot into the sides of the Pokecron, which is akin to the Pokegear/nav/etc but for it being a bit more comprehensive, with it basically forming the entire pause menu. The badges, when slotted in, unlock additional information which I'll go into more detail about later.

        Spoiler:- Badges and Leaders:

I've also made pictures of three new fakemon- the game's replacements for the Tentacool line and for Magnemite:

        Spoiler:- Dianasty and Dianbolic:

The next guy's origins will require a little less explaining, especially when you consider that its shiny form is blue as opposed to red:

        Spoiler:- Handroid:
I'm sorry, were you expecting some kind of epic signature here?

    Current works:
A Modern Atlantis- Bioshock/Doctor Who crossover (FINALLY WRITING CHAPTER 3! Will post soon!)
-When a perfectly mundane trip to the ocean floor causes the Doctor and his companions to discover an underwater city, they find a utopia that is anything but. (Rated PG-14 for language and violence)

Hmm, interesting point, but actually a good bit of criticism.

Firstly, Daubuster would certainly have a longer body (and a slightly greater total mass) than Ariados, even if Daubuster isn't greater in terms of height. I suppose 0.98m is actually a little on the small side, though then again, it's about the same size as Beedrill (who's 0.99m), and only slightly smaller than Vespiquen (1.19m), who are both of comparible species.

Secondly, Mud Daubers lay their eggs/larvae (or whatever) inside spiders. When they hatch, the new Mud Dauber eat their way out of the spider, so something similar to this would happen with Daubuster. I've actually added that to the pokedex description. Thanks for your feedback though

My region is no longer an archipelago for diversity reasons, though it still retains a, shall we say "galactic" shape. And the professor is now named Ben Gingko, who becomes the champion upon completing the game (the champion at first is a secret for now).
    Starter time, at long last!

Hey howdy hey somebody actually replied to something I said

Yeah it needed a sweeping move, I realized. It's an event legend, yes, it's sort of like Victini in that it has a new area and cut-scene thing were you fight the antago-team and then the Legendary. Except instead of wanting to test your might it's more of a rampaging spirit-of-nature force that sees you as just another threat. Either way yes it is an event legendary.

Sorry I can't give other people critique, though off the top of my head, Yssa, I like the snapdragon idea as long as it's not Fakemon-cliche--also the names sound adorable, and I love them to death.

Anyway it's 4:52 AM here and I'm not sure why I ended up in this thread but I'm glad I did and hopefully I'll get around to doing more Fakemon at some point. I lost an entire (completely filled!) notebook so I've become uninspired and more about my tiny-but-hopeful novella (which is in non-pokemon fic section go go go) but I will try my damnedest to find time for this place.

Did you read the first post? There's requirements to join; post one on here with the required info. You don't necessarily need a picture, I never did. Except the one time.

Also off the top of my discombobulated head, here's some TM's that I'm either bringing back, replacing, or adding on:

    -Bringing back Dragon Pulse
    -Earth Power
-Replacing Venoshock with Shield Break (Rock-type Physical attack, uses attacker's Defense in lieu of Attack; saw this somewhere a couple pages ago but I promise I came up with it before. It was a way to make Shuckle a goddam beast)
-Slicicle (Physical Ice attack; high crit chance)
-Swordplay (Physical Steel attack; high crit chance)
-Juice Bomb (Special Grass attack; hits Fire-types for neutral damage)
-Flare Blitz is going to replace Pluck
-Sky Drop replaced with Divebomb (Flying-typed Fling)

There are definitely more but as I said I am discombobulated.

Hello again! Another bug pokemon idea using another pretty unique type combination. Here's the first evolution for now (which basically runs on being frozen):

Appearance: A furry caterpillar with black fur, covered in blue and white stripes. Two small antennae with yellow eyes stick out of the front.
Pokedex Entry: Found only in the coldest regions. GYNACILLAR are completely immobile in the winter during blizzards, but come out to eat during the warmer months.

    Moveset:

1 - FrozenResort - Type: Ice Cat: Status Pow: -- Acc: -- PP: 20 Des: This move can only be used while the user is frozen. Either maxes out the user's defense stats, sp def stats, or restores the user's HP.

    27 - Bug Bite
    28 - String Shot
    35 - Ice Beam

    TMs (gen V): 07, 13

    Name: Gynapod

    Gender Ratio (M/F): 50%/50%

Appearance: A white cocoon shape with blue and black stripes. A small hole at the front of the cocoon with two stalky eyes poking out. There are also two white, larger stalky eyes poking out the top of the cocoon. The cocoon tails off towards the back.
Pokedex Entry: A GYNAPOD spends most of it's life completely motionless. It's tough shell can withstand blizzards while it waits to evolve. It constantly keeps on the lookout for danger.

^ That sounds incredibly hard to raise. I hope Gynamoth is worth the trouble. Sounds like a counterpart to Volcarona.

    hi-ho.

@MastersOfMonsters: Hey there! Pictures aren't required, just some information on the fakemon besides its name. That's a pretty neat idea, having haunted tombstones for Pokemon. The name Grakeepa comes to mind for that middle evo, if you don't mind suggestions (grave-keeper, an interpretation of its Pokedex entry). Welcome to the club!

@FlyShyGuy: So, Gynacillar has no usable moves whatsoever until shortly before it evolves? Aside from one situational move. That sounds masochistic.
Pokedex OS- Still trying to capture every single Pokemon out there in words: 648/718 Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh complete!

Fluer Noir- A story of a black flower, a shameful history, and magic.
