    I'm playing as the male right now, but since I made the all-important discovery of switching Pokegear skins, I might be able to stomach the female character once the English version comes out and I get HGSS for keeps. Although her outfit still sucks.

    Why!, Why do both have such horrible outfits?
    Going for male because a) Female looks weird and b) I am Male.

    the other reason is, since the original female "cry" is replaced with another one, even if I'm female, choosing the female one is not as good as in gold/silver by visuals

    *shrug* I think the girl looks alot better in the anime version. And in fanart. Like my fanart where she doesn't have overalls. Because of those things I got pretty used to her.

    Plus the changing Pokegear skins made my decision even more definite.

    The girl looks retarded with a poofy hat and overalls. DEFINATLEY male. The Sinnoh female was acceptable, but this one is just flat out weird. Plus the guy is tight.

    As a man i usually play as the male character.

    However, by the 3rd or 4rd playthough I play as the girl just for fun

    The primary reason I'm playing this game is for nostalgia. Nintendo seems to respect that, as they added the GBplayer, allowing me to listen to the old tunes if the remixes don't take my fancy. So why would redoing the girl make sense? GSC didn't have an irritating "best friend forever" character, so just stick to the design in Crystal, which was made purely to use as an avatar in the game instead of trying to remake her to fit with the BFF policy.

    Well I picked the boy in Diamond and Emerald, In Leaf Green I choose the girl. So I'm most likely going to choose Kotone (the girl) plus am I the only one who think she looks great? ^-^
