I started my Heart Gold game as the female trainer because I love her design and all

depends on the game I'm male but whit some games I pick female character because I like the design of it more, in fr/lg case I preffered the female character over the male but in hg and ss I prefer the male character

I'm a female && Karii is a female's name.. so yeah..
I didn't like the girl version in Crystal so I went with a male in that one, but ever since then I just picked female because I am a girl.
But I hate how the girl looks in this one, espeically her hair.. ugh!!

i was going to pick the boy because i've never (willingly) played as a boy before, but i picked the female because she's more fashionable-- thus, i caved into her (much hated by the non-asian fandom) design. i don't really care what people say about overalls and big hats being outrageous, i guess they've never seen fashion photoshoots or shows or anything fancy like that.

And for everyone saying that they're playing as their own gender or whatever, I like to think of it as If I'm going to be staring at a character all day, I'd much prefer them to be female

But yeah, I went male for hg since I don't really like Lyra at all

Male, because I've always played male characters on Pokemon games. Even though I go female on the various MMORPG's I play, theres something about a Pokemon game. Might try female next pokemon game though XD
