Female in all of my main ones, because I am a female, and the male chracter for some diversity sometimes, and because I hate the female character designs in Pt/SS.

I'm a girl so I'll play as one. I don't agree with alot of the female outfits but I don't feel right if I play a male. The boys do look so much better though.

In my SoulSilver, I play as the Male character. In HeartGold, I play as the female character.

I don't care how the character looks, I play as my own gender (girl.)
I hate the mushroom hat tough :[ Luckily Touko looks a lot better.

I am a girl, so I would almost always play as one. I think I played a boy in Sapphire, just to switch it up a bit. The girls outfits are a little odd sometimes... but it could always be worse.

I'm a guy, so i play as the male. I played as the female once on my runthrough of platinum and it just wasn't the same. Very little changes like the bag, etc. bothered me. Played through HG twice as the male and things went swimmingly

May be just me but i really don't see the point of playing as the gender you arent. Seems a little less personal.
