The man living inside the the house beside the apricorn tree at Route 30 just gave me the APricorn Case.
The apricorn beside his house is a Green Apricorn x1.

Mystic Water guy who's on the island in the water by Cherrygrove has returned, it appears.

Your pseudo-rival now tells/shows you how to catch a Pokemon.

Spinarak catchable north of Cherrygrove Town in HG.

Ok. Gone to Ruins of Alph with my Arceus. The guy has taken me into the Ruins of Alph where I appear to have been teleported into the Shinto Ruins (Which is off the map)



I then followed a hiker into his cabin where Cynthia is and after talking to you she goes to the ruins but it seems I don't have the requirements yet so I have to come back later.

The way back is through an Abra using Teleport to send you back to New Bark Town

Never mind. You have to box the rest of your party and go with just Arceus and then go up and select your Pokémon

Another minor thing I noticed - it appears to be far quicker to save the game compared to Platinum, which is nice, I suppose.

Oh yeah, the Pokédex Count in this game is by Capture, not by Seeing

You get the Old Rod outside Union Cave (Will be making an Item List as we get further in)
