Yesterday I got a nidoran female and a kangaskan on the pokewalker so I transfered them over to my sulsilver and trained nidoran because I might use her on my main team since I've never really used one before. I tried to catch a doduo to but it ran away >.>

I changed my mind. I don't wanna fight Pryce yet instead I wanna do something. I wanna get a Fire Stone so I can evolve Growlithe into Arcanine since it has recently learned Flamethrower. So I flew to Goldenrod and made my way North where I arrived at the Pokeathlon. I did a crap ton of Stamina Courses until I had enough Points to by myself a Fire Stone. I went to the shop and saw that they had no Fire Stones for sale. I saved my game and changed the date so that they would sell Fire Stones. After that was done I bought a Fire Stone and left the Dome. I then flew back to Mahogany and went throught the Gym again.

I switched games to SoulSilver version again today. I had a swarm that I had to take care of, and after capturing the swarm Pokemon, I headed to Cerulean City. I headed up towards the Route 25 area, and I used Headbutt on some of the trees there. I managed to find two Slakoth, and I captured them both to transfer over to Black version. I also flew down to Viridian City, and I spent a lot of time inside the Viridian Forest, just trying to use Headbutt to locate even more Pokemon that I wanted to transfer over to Black version. I returned to the Johto region with several more Pokemon captured, and I flew towards Olivine City. I headed north until I reached the mountains near Moomoo Farm, and I used Rock Climb to climb the ledges where I used Headbutt to find wild Burmy. I captured three of them and then I saved the game.

I made my way back up to Pryce but I got a call from Baoba. He told me he finished making the test. I then got to Pryce and used my Fire Stone which evolved my Growlithe to an Arcanine! I saved and talked to Pryce. He said that he has been training Pokemon before I was born. The Battle begun.

    VS Pryce

    VS
I used Headbutt multipule times to knock it out. It got a Hail up though.

    VS
I switched to Lanturn for type advantage and used Spark 3 times to knock it out.

    VS
I used Iron Tail which was a 1 Hit KO.

I won! He gave me the Glacier badge and the TM for Hail. I then left.

Dear Diary: Today, I arrived at Violet City. A pretty little City in my opinion.
The first thing I did, was to visit the Pokemon Center to heal my Pokemon.
Then I uninvitingly entered every house there. A guy wanted to trade
a Bellsprout for an Onix. Yes Please! A Steelix will look good later on.
So now, I am standing on a bridge over a little lake. I am planning to
enter the big tower in the end, but first, i'll watch the sunset from here..

    Day 115 Saturday , August 13, 2011 9:10,1,2,3 PM
I started and stayed in the Pokeathlon Dome for the Day . I decided that I would enter in two Pokeathlons today! I entered my first of two Pokeathlons for the Day , a Speed Pokeathlon with Kingler , Murkrow , and Ampharos ! We were escorted to the Stage ! After the three Events , we had 376 Points ! I had also gotten First Place ! We got three Speed Medals , one for each of my Pokemon that participated with me in this Speed Pokeathlon ! ! I put one on each of them! After a little while, we left. The Clerks then gave me 376 Points , as well as 100 Bonus Points for winning! I then entered my second and last Pokeathlon for the Day , a Skill Pokeathlon with Meganium , Ampharos , and Sudowoodo ! We were escorted to the Stadium ! After the three Events , we had 329 Points ! We had also gotten First Place ! We got three Skill Medals , one for each of my Pokemon that participated in this Skill Pokeathlon ! I put one on each of them! After a little while, we left. The Clerks gave me 329 Points , as well as 100 Bonus Points for winning! The Clerks then said that I unlocked the "Potential Room" for myself, as I had won one of each kind of Pokeathlon , was the Skill Pokeathlon was the last one that I had to win! I then saved in front of the PC , on the Clerk's left, with Meganium to my left, the screen's right. 90:18
    My Team is:
    Meganium Lv.60
    Ampharos Lv.60
    Sudowoodo Lv.59
    Ariados Lv.59
    Kingler Lv.59
    Murkrow Lv.59
Well, I found some stuff to do today! I'm not sure what I will do yet tomorrow, but I'm sure that I will find something! I am happy that I unlocked the "Potential Room", and I will probably go in it, and check it out tomorrow, if I remember! I hope that you like this rather medium-, large-sized Update ! Thanks for reading!

So today I went at the bug-catching contest with the determination to win. Caught a level 15 Beedrill with full health and felt pretty confident. I did manage to win and won myself a sun stone. Ironically this can now evolve my Sunkern so it benefits us all. My Togepi managed to evolve into a Togetic at lv 22. I found the Soothe Bell when it was at lv 20. It could've probably sped things up faster. I beat my rival and met Eusine and let out the beasts in the Tower. I also explored around in Mt. Mortar and popped out by Mahogany Town. I went and saw the Red Gyarados but I couldn't surf yet to I decided to train and head back to Ecruteak City to take on Morty soon. I decided to evolve my Hoothoot first before attempting Morty for better odds.
    My Team:
    Quilava - lv 20
    Flaaffy- lv 21
    Togetic - lv 22
    Sunflora - lv 19
    Sudowoodo - lv 20

Dear Diary: Today, I went to the Sprout Tower in Violet City. In there,
there was a lot of weird men in bathrobes. They all had their little
army of Bellsprout. They where easily defeated by Scyther and his Aerial Ace.
At the top, I met my rival. I have forgotten his name, but he called me weak
before he magically disappeared. I beat the elder pretty easy with Scyther and Onix,
and he gave me a Hm for Flash. After the Sprout Tower, I healed my Pokemon before entering the Violet City Gym. Onix took care of those nasty Flying-Types, and suddenly started disobeying me when we fought the Leader. Who uses Earthquake against a Pidgeotto when I specifficly told him to use Rock Slide? Anyways. We eventually defeated the Pidgeotto, and earned the Zephyr Badge. Then Onix started obeying again.
After the Gym Challenge, I obtained an Egg from one of Prof. Elm's Minions at the Pokč-Mart. We Healed and went south. Down the Route, we fought a lot of trainers, and I levled up Glaceon, Scyther and Onix some. After a while, we came to a cave called Union Cave. I'll take a rest at the Pokemon Center before heading through the cave.

As I left I got a Call from Elm. Since it answered by itself I knew it was going to be important. Elm asked how I was doing. He then said the Radio was going all weird and it was talking about Team Rocket. He then hung up. I turned on my Radio and to my surprise Team Rocket has been brought back. I quickly turned off my Radio and healed and flew to Goldenrod imeaditly. I headed to the Radio Tower but I wasn't let passed by a Grunt. So I left and headed Underground where I found another Team Rocket Grunt. He thought I was a New Recruit so he gave me a Team Rocket Uniform. I put it on and headed back to the Radio Tower. I quickly Saved the game and turned it off as the DS was on low power.

Dear Diary: I got through the Union Cave, and found some neat items along the way. I also Battled a few trainers in there, leveling my team even more. Onix started to listen to me again after beating the Violet City Gym Leader, so that's just fine.
After I got out of the cave, I came to a route with heavy rain. I looked at Onix, and he looked somewhat angry. I bet it was because of the rain. I switched him out with Scyther, before I took on Anthony. The famous Hiker. After I beat him, I followed the road, and came to a well. there was a man in black in front of it, and he was yelling to another man. Then, he pushed him away, and he ran. I talked to the man, but he just told me to beat it. What a rude man.. Anyways. I followed the road a bit further and came to a town named Azalea. I went to the Gym, but I could not get in for some reason. I took my time to explore the town, and came across a man named Kurt. He said he was a Poke Ball-Creator, and told me to follow him to the well outside of the city.
I went to the well, and the rude guy was gone. Maybe Kurt killed him? Who knows? Anyways, I went down the moist, creepy, claustrophobic well, and saw Kurt. He had injured his foot or something, and asked me to stop Team Rocket. I had no idea what that was, but I went further into the cave.
In the Cave, I met the rude guy (So Kurt didn't kill him after all...) He challenged me to a battle, and I beat him with Onix. I met and defeated several rude people down there. They apparently calls themselves Team Rocket So that's what Kurt ment by that.
I saw some Slowpokes in the caves. They did not have any tails! Poor bastards. Team Rocket apparently cut them off and sold them. wtf?
I went towards the guy which appeared to be their leader, when suddenly I got in a wild pokemon battle. It was a Slowpoke. A poor, scared little Slowpoke. I just couldn't leave him behind in this hell hole of madness! I used False Swipe wih Scyther, and threw a Pokeball at him. I caught him on first try. What a nice add to my team. I used Slowpoke against the leader-guy called Proton. He beat his Zubat and gained a Level. I switched into Onix against Koffing, and rock Slided him to death. After my victory, Proton-guy threatened me not to get in their way again. I was scared.. Then they disappeared, and Kurt came and guided me to his home, as scared as I was.
The Guy in front of the Gym is gone too, so I'll take on the Gym later, after I regain my senses.

It's been a while since updating. Anyhow, we entered and passed through Mt. Mortar, beating the one trainer inside and those outside. We were then at Mahogany Town. We tried to enter the gym but some rather plump individual was blocking our path! There nearly always is something that prevents you from going to the gym the first time you go. So we try to leave the town east, but a man with hair on his sides would not let us go until we bought a Ragecandybar. Even when we bought one, it doesn't give us any healing proportions. And since he was as much as a jerk as the rather plump individual, he said that "buying a Ragecandybar has nothing to do with whether I can go ahead"..... WHAT PERSON WOULD DO THAT?

Sadly, the only way our team could go was North. Rumors say that one of the paths has a Team Rocket Toll, so we instead went the long way by going through the Tall Grass. Notably though, Carolina was able to defeat a Gyarados single-handed, even with Intimidate. Also, I should teach S.MachoMan Stone Edge soon... It seems Ranjit came through here earlier.

At the Lake of Rage, there was a very common Red Gyarados in the Lake! Because it was needed to advance the plot, we had to go up to it and face it. I weaked it S.MachoMan's Rock Slide, then with a Ice Punch. A Pokeball was close, but it didn't work. I told Nassie to put it to Sleep, but the Pokeball did nothing. One more Pokeball seemed to do it though. Huh.

We find a Red Scale in its remains, and then we see a shady red haired man (not Ranjit) with a cape Dragonite. After talking, we decide to help him investigate because anyone with a cape is immediately cool.

I beat Falkner last night. He was super easy with only using doduo and kangaskan. Afterwards I got the rock smash hm, went to the Ruins of Alph and caught a unknown, a ekans, and a wooper.

Dear Diary: I defeated the Azalea Town Gym. It was pretty easy, despite having some lack of speed on my team. Slowpoke took care of pretty much every gym trainer in there,
and Scyther also took care of Bugsys Scyther in an epic Scyther-Duel. His/Her (I'm not sure 'bout Bugsys Gender...) Metapod and Kakuna went down to Onix.
After the gym, I went towards the big Forest. But I got stopped by my rival, steve.
He wanted to battle me, because he's always bragging about how weak I am. That boy
just won't get that i have beaten him far too much already.
Anyways. I defeated him quite easily. Bayleef went down to Glaceons Icy Wind, and everyone
was happy. Except from Steve.. He lost.. Again..

I entered the Forest and had to capture two Farfetche'd that took off. I had to be sneaky..
I caught them pretty fast, and their owner rewarded me with HM Cut. I thought it
to Rattata, and cut my way out of the forest. I also met a drunk guy, headbutting a tree.
He tought Headbutt to Slowpoke. Slowpoke learns it by itself but.. still..

I got to Goldenrod City after some battling and talking to strangers. It's about to go
nightnight, so I'll have to stay at the Pokemon Center for now.
I am actually scared of the dark

I continued to capture Pokemon that I needed to transfer over to Black version. I captured a Snubbull west of Ecruteak City, and I evolved it into a Granbull. I then wandered around the tall grass in search of a wild Magnemite. One finally appeared, and I captured it before heading back to Goldenrod City. Once there, I headed south until I reached the Day Care Center, where I left a Ditto and a Glameow so that they would breed. I searched the tall grass for a wild Drowzee while I was in the area, and after capturing it, I headed to Olivine City, and I started to Surf around the water route southwest of the city. I encountered a wild Tentacool and I captured that. I got to Cianwood City, and I entered the cave that led to the Safari Zone area of the Johto region. I saved in the little village where the Safari Zone was located.

So I decided to put my Hoothoot through rigorous training to help evolve it, since I felt more confident facing the Ecruteak gym with a team of Lv 20+. I managed to get it to evolve incto a Noctowl pretty fast if I do say so. My next target was to see if my Togetic was able to evolve with the shiny stone, yes my problem was OBTAINING a shiny stone. I scoured National Park and came to the conclusion it is on the ledge with the needed rock climb obtained after getting all 16 badges...
My second attempt was to do multiple Pokeatholon courses to get enough points to purchase a shiny stone. I entered three courses and managed to get second everytime due to the bonus/individual points giving my opponet a ten point lead over me. Then I discovered you must have the National Dex for a shiny stone to appear in the Point Store. I might just keep Togetic active with my team as a 7th man rotation because I still need a water type. I'm still delaying the inevitable and will try Morty soon.

Dear Diary: I won the Radio Card. Yay! They said the questions where difficult.. They lied. I also met the Gym Leader of the city, and she went to the Gym. I followed her, being the creepy stalker I am. I took care of the gym trainers with Glaceon. They where really.. Girly.. not to mention the fact that there where no boys there *Sigh*
I arriwed to the Leader, Whitney. She sent out her Clefairy. Scyther used Swords Dance, and U-Turn. Then Clefairy fainted. I switched to Glaceon when she sent out her Miltank. Miltank started off with Attract. a very.. Girly.. Move. Glaceon used Charm to lower its attack, and an Icy wind to lower its speed before fainting. I then sent out Onix. Onix took care of the rest with a fine combination of Rage and Earthquake.
I defeated the Gym Leader, and she started crying. I paniced, thinking i had hurt her in any way. A gym trainer told me she always cry when she loose. Well, I could have used that information a little earlier. after she stopped crying, she gave me the Plain Badge and Tm 45 which was Attract. I left the gym quickly. I've had enough of all those girls and their flirty staring. They scare me..

-Chose Totodile, got a Brave natured one on the first try.
-Got the Pokegear, headed west onto Route 29.
-Beat a few wild Pokemon to get Exp.
-Arrived in Cherrygrove, old man showed me around and gave me Running Shoes.
-Healed up and headed west onto Route 30.
-Got the Apricorn Case, and continued heading north.
-Finally reached Mr.Pokemon's house, got Mystery Egg, and Pokedex from Prof.Oak.
-Got a call from Prof.Elm, something terrible happened.
-As I arrived onto Route 29 from Cherrygrove, a passing boy, who challenged me.

    Rival Battle - ???

    VS
It was just a Scratch and Tackle battle, I won quite easily. Totodile grew to Level 8.

-Got back to New Bark Town, told policeman about the Passing Boy.
    -Called my Rival 'Silver'
-Gave the Mystery Egg to Elm.
-Spoke to my mum about savings, said no to her saving up for me.
-Headed back up to Cherrygrove City, healed up and headed north again.
-Beat some trainers, including Joey and his Rattata.
-Didn't take Joey's number, as I don't care about his crappy Rattata.
    - Kept on going north, beating more trainers.
-Finally arrived in Violet City, healed up and explored.
-Headed south onto Route 32, found a Naughty natured Mareep, my 2nd team member.
-Healed in the PokeCenter, put Mareep in the Pokewalker, and went for a stroll.

Later on I will climb the Sprout Tower and challenge the first gym.

GIANT UPDATE: I entered the place Lance told me to go and OH MY GOSH A DRAGONITE HYPER BEAMED A HUMAN! Oh wait, that looked more like Giga Impact. Lance shoved a man a couple feet and found a secret passage to the hideout.

Lance went past a bunch of Persian statues and nothing happened. Jimmy went past those Persian statues and for some reason had to fight tons of Rocket Grunts. I fought them all while listening to music (The Final Countdown and Thriller if you were wondering) and continued to the next floor. Lance healed my Pokemon and we kept going through the fortress. Carolina unintentionally got Poisoned along the way.

In the next room, Lance told us we needed secret passwords. We fought some Grunts and Scientists and Carolina got Poisoned again. What's with her and getting Poisoned? Does she like it or something? It doesn't know Facade... We learn the passwords are SLOWPOKETAIL and RATICATETAIL. We continue through the Hideout and eventually run into the red-headed rival Ranjit. He complains a bit and leaves, leaving us to deal with a purple haired impersonator of Giovanni named Petrel.

In my opinion, Petrel reminds me of those old guys in R-rated movies that get a gun out of nowhere and shoot you. I don't actually watch those but I see the commercials all the time. Anyway, we fight him, and he's pretty easy to defeat. S.MachoMan and Nassie easily sweep his team. He then flees, and we follow his Murkrow.

After going on a wild bird chase, the Murkrow opens a door we passed, but an Admin named Ariana and Grunt named Matthew Gorgonzola Terramarmalamb the Third (just kidding on the Grunt) stops us, but then Lance and his hacked Lv. 40 Dragonite helps us fight in a double battle. Both Nassie and Cannonbolt helped in the battle, and we emerged victorious. Then we had to stop the nearby Electrode. I tried to catch one, but my Pokemon were too strong for their own rights, for one Energy Ball defeated the first, the second got a critical hit with the Light Screen up, and Escargo's Ice Beam was overkill.

I was about to ask Lance where he got his Lv. 40 Dragonite, but he rambled on about something else and dashed away.

-Mareep returned from a stroll in Noisy Forest.
-I entered Sprout Tower, battled all of the monks with Mareep, causing it to level up fast.
-After a few floors, I reached the top, and watched my rival beat the elder and leave.
-I challenged the elder. Totodile was able to wipe his whole team by itself.
-After I won, I picked up the escape rope and healed in the PokeCenter.
-I entered the gym, and took the elevator platform to the pathway in the air.
-After beating the trainers, I challenged Falkener.

One Thundershock and Pidgey was down.

    VS

How does he have a Level 13 Pidgeotto? Anyways, I used Thundershock, which took it down to half health. He used Tackle which hardly did anything, but lucky for me, Mareep's Static ability came into play, causing Pidgeotto to be Paralyzed. One more Thundershock and I had my first gym badge!

-Afterwards, I left and got a call from Prof.Elm to get the Mystery Egg from his aide.
-After getting the Egg, a kimono girl appeared and told me to take care of the egg.
-Finally I healed in the PokeCenter and saved on the bridge leading towards the tower.

Later I will head south and explore the Ruins Of Alph and go through the Union Cave.

I switched back to HeartGold version, and I headed for the Vermilion City Gym since I needed to fight Lt. Surge for the Thunder Badge, which would be my first Kanto region Gym badge. I entered the Gym after Surfing around the water a bit, and I had to battle against the Gym trainers inside while also attempting to solve Lt. Surge's tedious Gym puzzle, which I was surprised to see again. It took me around 10 minutes to finally find the hidden switches inside the trash cans, and then I headed to the local Pokemon Center to heal my Pokemon. I went back outside, and I headed north to the route there to battle the various trainers for my experience points. After that last-minute grinding session, I returned to the Vermilion City Gym and I saved in front of Lt. Surge.

More than ready to take on my rival at the Burned Tower in Ecruteak - before that however I've been preoccupied with team switch arounds and I ended up exploring the grassy areas surrounding Ecruteak.

Found a fantastic Miltank, I'm hoping she can wipe the floor with Morty by using her Scrappy ability. If not, I always have my trusty Umbreon to fall back on.

After much consideration and juggling of various pokes, I've finally found a team I'm happy with - the question marks resemble empty spaces on my team that are soon to be filled - I know with what poke also.

It is time to take on the Mahogany Gym, which is full of Ice Pokemon! Now, if this was a Gym with pure Ice type Pokemon, I would be doing well, with Kindle and S.MachoMan being my main strikers, with Cannonbolt and Escargo being used on rare occasion mostly. However, ALL Ice types up to 2nd Gen are NOT pure Ice! Dewgong and Cloyster laugh at Kindle and Cannonbolt (though lets Nassie be used), Jynx can also defeat S.MachoMan easily, and Swinub can Mud Bomb Escargo. So really, all I can really do is power through with whatever I have. S.MachoMan and Nassie were my star players in this gym.

I love the Male Skier's overworld Sprite. The fact that it always looks like it's actually skiing makes me laugh. It's a shame you only fight them here (though maybe in the Battle Frontier). Anyway, we challenge...

Once the Masked Man of Ice, Now Just an Old and Cold Man of Ice
    PRYCE

    V.S.

Against Seel, I sent out Kindle. Thankfully the Seel (I think) doesn't know any Water type moves and isn't even the Water type! However, it did set up Hail as Kindle headbutted. The Seel used Icy Wind after Kindle Leered at it, and one more Headbutt knocked it down. Then it was the Piloswine. I sent S.MachoMan at it and told it to keep using Brick Break. He defeated it except it took a lot of HP from taking a Blizzard beforehand.

Last up was Dewgong, and I sent Nassie to Energy Ball it, thinking it would be easy but... wait... no! Dewgong got a critical hit with Aurora Beam! I sent S.MachoMan again, and told it to Brick Break, who got a critical hit on it BUT did not knock it out, living with just a sliver of HP left! An Aurora Beam brought my Machoke's HP to the red, so I switched to Escargo while Pryce healed with a Hyper Potion. I got Escargo to start a Rollout combo, while Dewgong was slowly weakening it. After a critical hit and a Full Restore later, Escargo beats the Dewgong on its 4th or 5th turn of Rollout (and he's Modest...).

We finally earn the Badge from Pryce (the name escapes me) and we exit the gym. That may have been our most tight Gym Fight yet, because if Escargo fainted, I'd have to heal S.MachoMan and see how the fight went from there... Anyway, we head outside, Prof. Elm URGENTLY calls us and tells us to listen to the radio. We listen and hear this transmission (0:07-0:31)
