Got the Mewtwo, Ho-oh, and Zapdos today.

    Got Zapdos to 1HP, but it took me over fifty ultra balls to get it caught. -_-;

Yep! After 9 runs, Pupitar is finally Level 47, learning Earthquake which I wanted forever. Searching for a good trainer to run by instead of the E4 as Pupitar can stand its own pretty well now. It seems at 8 P.M, Vance will be able, so switching my DS Clock to that timing. He seems a good trainer to practice on.

Sadly, just missed Gentleman Alfred yesterday. Would've given me a lot of EXP with his Noctowl. Atleast Vance has Pidgeot, Pidgeotto, AND Noctowl so it's all good. Let's see how this turns out.

Ok, I challenged Clair, and I was blown away by her. I won't go into detail, but I will say that her Kingdra crushed my team. I had to leave and train a bit more. I figured that Jynx was my best Pokemon for that Gym because of her Ice-type moves. In fact, she did work well against Clair's two Dragonair. The problem was that I didn't have any Dragon-type Pokemon to counter Clair's Kingdra with. I decided to head back to Goldenrod City and collect coins from the Game Corner. I wasn't very good at the Voltorb Flip game, but I managed to get a few coins and make it to the higher rounds every so often. I played that game for about an hour and then I headed out to train my Pokemon. I continued the pattern for a while until I managed to collect enough coins for Dratini. I got that and started training immediately.

Yesterday in my Soul Silver game, I got Deoxys and Latias and makes a total of 492 in my National Dex
I visited Prof Oak and he said:
    "You're turly surprised me!
You've more than exceeded my expectationas. You're gone far pastthem in completing the National Pokedex!
    I'm speechles...!
Because of this, thre worl of pokemon and Trainers is more vasty, deeper, and more abundant!
Now there will be no end to Pokemon research!"

I just need Manaphy to really complete the whole thing ^.^

Then when I got my Trainer Card to color Silver the Nurse Joy said:
'Hello, welcome to our Pokemon Centre
    Would you like to....
Th-that card! The color and the stars!
I've seen Trainers up to their Violet Trainer Card, but you're the first to have that one!
Would you like me to heal your Pokemon, MJ, won't you please?"

Haha.. Its like much faster service than the old one
    Now it's like:
    "Great to see you, MJ!
    You want the usual, right?"

Oh my god! It finally evolved...I now have a TYRANITAR in my team . And it's by far the strongest yet. Has a killer attack (205), surprisingly awesome Special Attack (155), Special Defense is great (122), and Defense is awesome (155), and great HP (186). Speed is a bit eh, but it'll take whatever you can throw at it so it's still awesome (at a 101).

Now...the next Pokemon to train is one to counter Water types, which are a huge pain in the back right now, as a lot of my Poke's are weak to it. Researching some, was hoping for a Grass type but none look good right now...

    Day 29 Thursday, May 19, 2011 9:45,6,7 PM
I decided to stop training and to start battling against the Elite 4. I challenged Will twice and got him down a couple of both Pokemon both times, although I don't remember exactly. On the third time I finally defeated Will, the Psychic Master. I saved in the next room. 36:42

Last journey I said I was going to train all my pokemon o level 57 and hopefully take on the elite four. Well I trained all except Sparkz to level 57, he reached 56. Instead of going to the elite four I went to search around a little bit. I wanted to see what was in seafoam cave, and it turns out the Articuno is still in there which is good as I caught it ( Only took about 30 ultra balls, fml). During that time I caught a Jynx, Dewgong, Seal and a Goldbat.

    For my next journey I think I should go to the elite four just to check out what it's like. Hopefully I can get my Raider up to level 60 in the process but we will see what happens. Team is like this;

    Raider the Feraligatr:57
    Guardian the Pidgeot: 57
    Sargant the Arcainine: 57
    Nector the Heracross: 57
    Sparkz the Ampharos: 56

Still trying to train my team for Red. I caught a Larvitar a while ago and now it's a Tyranitar at level 55 (or 56, I forget). I went to go train my Arcanine, but I thought "This is going to take waaayyyy too long!", I only was able to train Tyranitar that fast due to routes in Kanto I hadn't yet visited - there were lots of trainers. Tyranitar still needs to be at level 70, at least. =/ Probably much higher because Red's Pikachu is a nightmare (and Tyranitar, unfortunately, lost its Ground typing so it no longer has the advantage). lol

So I thought about going and getting an Lucky Egg. So I went to one of the Routes with Chansey, and used the repel trick, along with Venonat's CompoundEyes ability and Thief on my Scyther.

It got frustrating really quick. Just running into Pidgeottos and having to buy more Max Repels. I ran into several Chanseys but they all had Oval Stones, and there were two where I forgot to take the item off of my Scyther so I'll never know what they had.

Too much work to train... Is it even worth it getting an Lucky Egg?

Training a Game Corner Dratini from scratch is difficult work. I spent a whole day training it, but I only managed to get it to level 30. I did some more rematches, but they didn't help much. At least it evovled into Dragonair, though. I headed back to Blackthorn City and I trained at Dark Cave some more this morning. I eventually returned to the Blackthorn City Gym and I challenged Clair again. I used my Ampharos against her Gyarados, and it fell to a powerful Thunderbolt attack. I used Jynx against Clair's two Dragonair, but it fained while battling the second one. I used Quagsire to defeat it, and then I used Meganium against her Kingdra. I managed to weaken it slowly, and then I sent out Dragonair to deliver the finishing blow. I scored a critical hit, and I beat Clair. She didn't wanna hand over the badge, though.

After a LOT of careful thinking and research, I narrowed it down to two Pokes; Manectric and Luxray. Both of these are Electric, which is a sad thing indeed as I wanted a grass type, but none of the grass types was what I was looking for (Tangrowth came really close, but lacked the moves). Anyways, Manectric would be a break from my currently all-physical team, but I hate the design and it's too frail. Luxray is another physical type, but I LOVE the design and it isn't half as shabby.

Thus, I chose Luxray. Set the date back to the Sinnoh Swarm to catch one, a female Shinx.

Now, I want one a Luxray with Ice Fang AND Fire Fang, so I need to breed it. According to Serebii, the only Pokemon who fits this description is Arbok, so I need to catch a male one and teach it the Fangs through a Heart Scale. Going out to catch one right now. Will report how it goes (as well as the breeding) later.

    Day 30 Friday, May 20, 2011 9:50,1,2,3,4 PM
I challenged Koga, the Poison-Type Master. I barely won. I won because Murkrow sacrificed himself ho heal Sudowoodo, who then Rock Slided us to victory. I healed a little, revived Murkrow, as I realized in the battle against Koga that I didn't have many medicine items as I forgot to buy any. I saved and I challenged Bruno, the Fighting-Type and Rock-Type Master. I lost to his first Pokemon, Hitmontop thanks to Quick Attach Critical Hitting my half health Murkow and finishing off my about 10HP left Sudowoodo. I blacked out and I healed. I went in, saved, and challenged Will. I lost. I blacked out and I healed at the Pokemon Center in the Building. I saved inside by Nurse Joy. 37:13

Finally caught a male Arbok, spent ages Rock Smashing until I found another Heart Scale. It knows Ice Fang and Fire Fang, and got in the breeding center with the female Shinx.

    Ho hum.

After that, I got two eggs. Biked from the lake by the Center to the pole of the Goldenrod City's exit a few dozen times. Finally, they hatched. One was Serious and one was Modest. Took the Serious one, was a female coincidentally. The other one was too. So got a female Ice Fang, Fire Fang Shinx up for trade in SoulSilver in case anyone's interested.

Anyhow, leveled the Shinx by going to the Elite Four and suicide running (though it's not really 'suicide' run anymore. Tyranitar takes 1/2 of the E4 by himself). Leveled up like crazy, already a Luxray.

Good day today, turning off and saving. Hopefully by tomorrow it'll be fully leveled to 55. Then we'll decide the final member of the team before conquering Kanto.

So, in order to complete my Pokemon White Pokedex, I need to obtain Miltank, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia and Ho-oh. So I guess I'm playing through HeartGold again to get them all!

Since I picked Totodile in my first run and Chikorita in my second, naturally this time I picked Cyndaquil. My team has largely been very different, things that tend to be underused. It's one of those teams that are late bloomers. As a result, getting through the tougher battles is proving to be much tougher and way more tedious than expected (I was in a battle with Pryce's Dewgong for twenty minutes, no joke, and I still lost to him...). Hopefully my team will reward me in the future...only problem being that none of the guys that pick up the elemental stones seem to be doing jack. Oh well...

Just training up at the moment for Team Rocket in the Radio Tower. Movesets are verrrry sketchy.

        Spoiler:- Team:

Well since Clair didn't want to give me the Rising Badge, I had to enter the Dragon's Den. I healed at the local Pokemon Center and I headed to the Dragon's Den. I got inside and I battled a couple of trainers while I was there. I Surfed to the shrine at the center of the lake and then I had to use Whirtpool to Surf across choppy water. I got to the shrine and I entered. I talked to the elder inside, and after answering his questions, I was allowed to leave. Clair came by and she handed me the Rising Badge since I had officially passed the elder's test. Once she left, I obtained the Dragon Fang item in Dragon's Den and I Surfed back out. I ran into Clair again just in time to receive the TM containing Dragon Pulse. I saved before heading out again.

So I ended up trying the elite four and wasn't happy, which in the end just made me trade over some pokemon from diamond ( EV trained Meganium, Typholison and Celebi) to help beat red so I could get the other starters. I took Celebi with because I liked her the most and I ended up defeating Red ( Sucks how all his pokemon know blizzard). I went to Oak and chose Bulbasaur ( but it was a girl ) and I ended up calling her VitaD. I then went to Steven and picked Torchic which is now named Ryu.

I can finally start on my pokedex but before I do some trades from diamond again I will start doing all my evo's on the pokemon I caught on heartgold first.

I decided that instead of spending days trying to get a Lucky Egg, I would shift to the more efficient Gym Leader training. I battled Brock several times and raised my Feraligatr's level to 75 and Raichu's level from 70 to 75, as well. Not bad. Considering that would have taken forever on Mt. Silver!

I plan to get them up to between the 80 and 85 range before attempting to fight Red again. However, I've got to get the rest of my team up there, as well. Thankfully there are gym leaders to easily train all of them. It's just the time that I'll have to wait to get to battle each one... *sighs*
