An old stylized brass key. It hangs from a string around my neck.
When I activate my Fullbring, the key glows gold and resonates with my spirit energy, seeming to throw off a shimmering distortion around me as it powers up. I release it, and it floats horizontally, and grows longer until it forms a three-foot long staff tipped with a 1.5 foot-long blade, a guran dao
. The string becomes the tassel attached to the blade. The weapon is very lightweight, but still has enough heft to get a decent swing off with minimal effort.
My ability is very complex, but has a simple concept: understanding. Any spiritual thing my blade touches is "unlocked", which happens in a flash of green light from my Fullbring and the object it's touching. After a few seconds, the blade flashes gold, and my eyes shine with the same glow for a moment, signifying that the knowledge has passed into my mind.
Being "unlocked" by my Fullbring means that I can percieve and comprehend every power, weakness, strength, dimension, technique, and limit of what my blade has touched (basically everything I could possibly want or need to know). This includes
people. Things like clothes (that aren't spiritually enhanced or formed) don't matter, nor do walls and the like (unless they're made of reishi or pure spirit energy).
An interesting point is that I can also apply my Fullbring's abilities to myself if I cut myself (lightly of course) with the blade and bleed on it. This allows me to comprehend my own strengths and weaknesses to my opponent's, to come up with the perfect plan to best them.
While this might seem broken, this is the only
thing my Fullbring can do. It has no offensive capabilities (other than being a blade), and no bodily enhancement. I have to rely on my other Fullbringer abilities to do anything in combat.
