In Hueco Mundo, a five-man squad of Patrol Corps Soul Reapers had stopped to take shelter in a cropping of rocks near the ruins of Las Noches. Each of the squad members wore the traditional Stealth Force uniform with the addition of special, metal like bands around their wrists and ankles that helped to conceal their spiritual pressure from hungry hollows. They checked their packs to make sure everything they needed was there and undamaged. They also went over their mission plans to make sure everyone remembered.
Exactly how it should be.
“Alright everyone, we’re about 270 meters* from the outer walls of the Las Noches ruins. There shouldn’t be anything except for maybe a few Gillian or lower class Hollows crawling around. Worst case scenario should be that any Adjuchas appear. If you do spot one, flee if possible. This is supposed to be a reconnaissance mission, so no unnecessary battles.”
I do think they were all properly briefed, but I would make clear that if they are spotted, they should put priority on getting away WITHOUT being followed. If they would be followed, the whole group could be in danger.
The squad leader instructed the others while setting up some device on a rock cropping. “If you can’t remember how to get back, use the map and your signal receivers to get back to this position. I want us back here in two hours to report your findings.”
No comments, exactly like the manual.
The five ninja-esque Soul Reapers pulled out a Soul Phone and seemed to activate a GPS type function that showed each of their positions in relation to the transmitting device on the rock cropping.
O_o
Four of the squad members flash stepped away to go explore the gigantic structure while the squad leader stayed behind for another minute before following suit.
Wouldn't the leader leave first/together with the group?
She found an entrance, most likely created by some hollow and entered the structure. While glancing at her map every few minutes, she kept her senses sharp for anything out of the ordinary. She came upon a circular room with five doorways at the opposite side from where she entered.
“According to the map, each of these hallways leads to former living quarters of Arrancar. But one of them should lead to the inner courtyard too. I should check the inner courtyard first to see if there are any Hollows roaming around in there.”
The squad leader flash stepped down the hall on the far right and traveled down it for another 10 minutes or so. When she reached the exit, she walked along a bridge way connecting one tower to another. The artificial sky that was present during Aizen’s rein was still in place, but the light emanating from it was greatly dimmer. After a minute or two of walking, she noticed a presence. She could sense dozens of Gillian class Menos in the courtyard.
DOZENS of GILLIANS? Get the hell out of there.
I think I could only handle 4 or 5 at once [Unless I would go all out, but that would leave me dieing of metal poisoning, so yeah...].
“Crap, why couldn’t I sense them before now?” the Soul Reaper looked around, trying to spot the Gillians in vein. “They’re too far off for me to see them in this low light, but the majority of them seem to be at my right. I better keep a low profile so they don’t notice me. I just can’t believe how many are in here.”

In a different part of the compound, another member of the surveillance team was walking down a long hallway. He had a bad feeling ever since entering Las Noches, but just shrugged it off so he could get his job done. The Soul Reaper finally came upon a large room, with some lit torches.
“What, there shouldn’t be anyone here. I better be careful so I don’t give myself away,” he whispered to himself.
“It’s too late for that ninja boy,” came from a mysterious voice.
The Soul Reaper turned around to locate the source of the voice. His eyes fell upon a muscular man with shoulder length red hair that was combed back and curved in the back. He was wearing an open black sleeveless leather jacket, blue jeans and black cowboy boots. He also had what appeared to be a sword at his side and a white forehead protector with three small horns protruding from it.
Awesome, I want to fight this one. >.>
“Who are you?” asked the Soul Reaper.
“I’m Spike Taffel, an Arrancar,” the man said with a cocky smile.
“I don’t have time to be messing with you. I’ve got to get back now.”
Breach of protocol, He shouldn't have said anything but his squad and seat/number. Now the arrancar KNOWS there are more.
The Soul Reaper made a move to run in the opposite direction. The Arrancar noticed and Sonído’d to intercept the Soul Reaper. Spike was faster, so he was able grab the Soul Reaper by the neck and slam him into the wall.
OUCH!
“I’m sorry, but I can’t let you go now that you know about me. I’ll just have to kill you here to avoid giving away my presence.”
Spike unsheathed his zanpakuto and held the tip between the eyes of the Soul Reaper. The man’s eyes widened as he saw his death before him. Spike donned a maniacal smile and then swiftly drove his sword into the man’s head. Blood splatter on his face he withdrew his sword and let the corpse fall to the ground. He wiped the blood off his sword and returned it to the sheath.
Wiped? WIPED? Why not licked, would be more into his character. (in my opinion)
“That wasn’t as thrilling as I hoped it would have been, but whatever. At least I got to kill a Soul Reaper.” The smile on his face had grown even wider. “Guess I better bring his corpse back. Wish I didn’t have to drag the stupid thing with me.”
The GPS coordinator wasn't found/destroyed?

The four remaining Soul Reapers returned to the meeting spot like they had planned. But they had noticed the absence of one of their members. They waited for another half-hour, thinking the missing member was just late because he got lost. But they started to worry.
First, if I had said 2 hours, it would have been 2 hours, a minute later and I would have told the group to leave if I hadn't been back in 15 minutes. + Didn't the GPS still function so I would know where he was at?
“What if something bad happened to him, you said you felt numerous Gillians in the inner courtyard, Kiyoko,” said a female Soul Reapers.
“Yes, I know. But Hideki wouldn’t be beat by Gillian and I didn’t sense anything stronger,” responded the squad leader, Kiyoko Hagiri. Kiyoko is the 5th seat of Squad 2 and was chosen by the Patrol Corps Commander to lead this scouting mission.
Huzzah for the 5th seat of squad 2!
“But if there are Gillians in there, that could mean that an Adjuchas could be there too,” a third member said.
“I think we should go look for Hideki!” The fourth squad member said restlessly.
WE? no I should look for Hideki, it's my responsibility as a squad leader.
“No. We waited long enough. We have to get back and report our findings.” Kiyoko had a look of distress on her face. She felt bad about leaving behind her comrade.
Waiting half an hour when you have a gps locator, well yeah.. that *is* waiting long enough.
GGGGGOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
Oh crap!
“Oh crap, did some Gillians notice where we are?!” One of the squad members asked frantically.
“I don’t know, but we need to get out of here now. Kiku, open up the Garganta as soon as possible!” ordered Kiyoko.
“Yes mama,” Kiku followed orders and began to set up the device to open the Garganta.
“Crap, they're getting closer!” exclaimed a male Soul Reaper.
By the time the Garganta was open, the Gillians were within firing range for their Cero. As several of the Hollow started firing off Cero, the Soul Reapers were heading into the Garganta. Kiyoko went in last to make sure her squad members got in safely. Before the Garganta close behind her, see saw a smaller figure walking in-front of the Gillians. She couldn’t make out any clear details in the moonlight, but it looked human and she could see that its close were dark colors. The Garganta closed and she ran to catch-up with her squad members.
I would activate my shikai and give covery fire for the team to escape before going through myself, hopefully taking out 3/4 gillians in the process.
