"So, regarding the groups..." Golde continued. "We can only keep track of a few of you, and if you run off...there will be severe consequences." He chuckled. Nobody bothered to ask what the consequences were, exactly. "Now, onto the groups..."

Golde escorted the 6 groups into the designated area where six portals were opened. Just a second later, six groups stepped through into the world of the living. The portals closed, leaving only an astonished and envious crowd.

"Don't you just love this?" The Sotaicho asked, holding his arms out and take a long inhale.
"Uh, yeah..." A young, dark skinned man said from behind them. He was shocked at the informality of the head captain.
"I love it here, it's beautiful, especially at night!" He walked out, away from the structure they had been standing on.
"So," A young girl started while testing her balance in the air "Where are we, exactly?"
"What? I thought they taught you about the World of the Living in the Academy...look at what we're standing on."
The two walked out, new at the whole, "walking on air thing". When they turned, they realized exactly where they were.
"The Eiffel Tower!" The girl exclaimed.
"Yep."
"So, Paris, right?" The boy asked.
"Uh-huh. And over there is the Seine River...ah, but we're not here for sightseeing, are we? Let's go."
The Sotaicho dropped unexpectedly, falling a few hundred feet, before landing softly on the grass below. More so than the students.
"So, of course you know my name..." Golde began as he started walking, "And I know yours...you're Luppi, and you're Jordan Inferno, right?"
"Yes," said two voices, simultaneously.
"So, tell me a bit about yourselves."
"You remember me, Captain!" said Jordan.
"Of course I do, but indulge me."
"Uh, Ok...I plan on becoming Captain one day...uh...I like to train I guess..." Jordan didn't really know what to say about that.
"Good, and how about you, Luppi-chan?"
"I'm good. To be honest, I was really hoping for some experience with Squad 11 though, that's what I plan on joining when I graduate!"
"Ah, Joubu-chan, eh?" He chuckled. They were on the street now, people passed, completely unaware of the shinigami walking beside.
"So, does anyone remember what we're doing here?"
"A training exercise, right?"
"Yes, involving what, exactly?"
"Hollows, obviously."
"Good. So, anyone see any?"
"...No." They said, simultaneously.
"So, new technique. Since you cannot see them, try sensing them."
They stopped. Both students closed their eyes and began to focus.
...
Blackness. They could see only blackness. Then they began to feel what the Sotaicho was talking about. First, the overwhelming soul of the Sotaicho. When they began to block that out, they became aware of the soul next to them...then...
Luppi got it first. "Sotaicho! That way, there's a small bit of spiritual pressure that way!"
"Good job! Now, is everyone prepared? Off we go!"

They shot over rooftops, as quickly as they could. He had read Luppis file. Apparantly, she had some trouble mastering her Reitsu...this should be a good exercise...hehe...

They stopped on the roof of a local food store, looking ahead at what lay before.
A grotesque figure stood there. It's face was hidden behind a bleach-white mask. Its face was upside down, and its four arms seemed twisted in a horrifing manner.
"Well, well, it seems we have a live one." Golde-sama chuckled. He stood for a moment. "Luppi-chan, I'd like you to try this one alone, is that OK?"
She looked back with a blank stare. "Uh, do you think I'm ready, Sotaicho-sama?"
"Heh, I think so." He chuckled. "Just remember, use your Kido, and don't forget the Shunpo."
A gulp. "Right." She took a step.
"Wait. Take this" Golde through a small object at her.
She caught it. A chocolate bar. "Eat." He instructed.
She opened it and took a bite. "Thanks." She walked slowly to the edge of the buildingg, eating. When she finished about half of the small candy bar, she tucked the rest insider her robes, and jumped down.

Luppi was shaking with excitement and fear as she ran toward the angry hollow. it's blue body didn't stick out well at night, and she was wondering exactly why the Sotaicho had sent her out alone.
She stopped, hiding her Reitsu as best as possible, and gathered as much as possible into her fist without attracting its attention.
"Hyah!"
A blast of explosive energy shot from her palm, blasting off a huge chunk of the hollows shoulder. Angered, it turned and lunged, claws fully extended. Luppi quickly shunpoed away.
A second arm shot out, barely missing Luppi, who quickly jumped back. She drew her sword. As she began to strike, a fist struck her, sending her flying left.
She lay there, only for a second, before getting up.

Hmm, it's advancing nicely, he thought, looking into her soul...
"Hey, wait!" Jordan exclaimed, "Aren't you going to help her?"
"Shush. Watch closely"

She had blood running down her arm, but she wasn't giving up yet.
The hollow now fully recognized its injury. It grabbed at its arm, before ripping it completely off. It threw it at Luppi. It made contact, and she rolled backwards, before her and the arm both smashed against a wall.
"Dammit," she said, coughing up blood."I'm going to be in Squad 11! I'm not giving up so easy!" Her Reitsu grew, forming around her sword. A hand shot out. She blinked.
...
The darkness engulfed her. She lay floating, surrounded by complete and utter blackness.
"Wh-what?" She could move her body, but couldn't move in any direction. She moved into what seemed like an upright position.
Suddenly, a light appeared, forming a silhouette. It moved towards her slowly. She could feel it...it's power...it was immense.
"You want power, don't you?" said a deep voice, supposedly emerging from the radiance.
"Y-yes...Who are you?" Luppi questioned
"Then you must look deep within your soul."
"What?"
The form lunged and engulfed her, and she shuddered from the feeling. But, within seconds, she could feel her power grow almost instantly.
"Wh-what's going on?"
"You wanted to know my name, right?"
"Yes, please, tell me what's going on!"
"Remember this." The form said, fusing with her body.
...
"Taifugaan."

She opened her eyes. The fist was coming closer.
She slowly prepared her sword. Holding it at her side, she called a command.
"Hageshi no Raiu!"
Her sword changed, becoming rugged, looking heavily used, its bladed edge looking like a row of jagged teeth. The fist was close now.
"He-yah!"
She thrusted, bringing the sword down from above her head. A wave of almost liquid looking Reitsu traveled through the hollows fist and arm, quickly and efficiently cutting the hollow clean in half.
It let out a final roar as the two pieces faded into nothingness.
She sighed, dropped to her knees and released the sword. It turned back into its original form. "Wow..."
The Sotaicho approached, helping her up. "Wow! Nice job!" That reitsu-filled candy bar probably helped too, he thought...
"Th-thanks..." She said, stumbling to her feat, and sheathing her sword.
"Well, now that we've finally gotten you to release your shikai, we should let Jordan-kun have a turn, shouldn't we?"
"Sure, I'll let him have a shot."

Squad 11 would be interesting, definitely. But most likely Squad 12, because Mayuri is still a badass.

Wabisuke is awesome. So is Suzumebachi. Hyourinmaru is one of my more favourite Zans, as is Senbonzakura. I also like Kyouraku's.

Yes, but that what has been comment about is his amazing growth rate.
Although that is a bit evened out by his lack of fighting experience compared to other captains.
But then again he is said to have a high intellect and that makes his a very good tactician in battle.

While his growth rate has been somewhat mentioned/focus on, it doesn't seem enough.
By all logic, Ichigo should lose. Regardles of his reiatsu levels, especially on his experience levels.
A high "intellect"? Eh. All it is, really, is his resolve to "always win", and his instinct, when HIchigo comes out. That's really it.

Senbonzakura is cool, but I like Zabimaru more for the Bankai stage.
Other than that, I reget to say that I'm leaving after Monday of next week, until the 21st. School has gotten in my face, and I have a term paper to write. I'll be training as I'm gone, so hopefully when I get back, I'll have a new power or two for my Zanpaktou.

Luppi may have been exhausted, but it didn't take her long to recover. She was so pumped about achieving shikai, that after about five minutes, she was ready to go again.
"No way!" Jordan said. "You already fought, it's my turn now!"
Golde chuckled at the two. "So, has anyone sensed any hollows yet?"
The two hadn't been thinking of that. "Go ahead," Luppi said, "It's your fight, right?"
"Yeah..." Jordan closed his eyes. It was almost a minute before he sensed something. "There's something...that way...but it's weak, I'm not sure if it's just a really weak hollow or really far away."
"Well, Jordan-kun, lead the way!"

They had finally reached it. It wasn't far away, it just had a very small spiritual pressure.
"That's it?"
A medium sized, bird-like hollow flew above the roofs of a small block of apartments. It didn't have any feet, or at least they weren't visible. It had a thick layer of reddish, brown feathers, and two very long wings. It's mask was simple, birdlike, and had closed eyes, red lines running down them.
"Are you ready, Jordan?" Golde asked.
"This shouldn't take long..." He said, drawing his sword.
"Hey. Don't underestimate it just because it's small. That's when you'll be caught off guard."
"Got it." He jumped out toward the hollow.

The misty air and calm, silent night made this battle all the better, he thought as he drew his sword, ready to attack the bird from behind. He rose his sword, then brought it down.
But before the blade struck, the bird quickly did a barrel roll to the side, then turned and flapped its wings viciously.
Jordan was knocked off the roof, and it's own flapping shot the hollow backwards, allowing it to fly high enough away to prepare for an attack.
He watched the bird as it let out a great shudder, and a mix of down and feathers fell. It then flapped again, but the wind was accompanied by sparks of flame, igniting the down and the feathers. Then, more viciously this time, it flapped.
The feathers and down shot directly at Jordan, and he had to shunpo to dodge in time. He knew Golde was right, this thing shouldn't be messed with.
I should release my sword, he thought. It'll end this quickly...
He held his sword high. "Yakedo, Inferuno Doragon!"
His sword began to melt. It fused around his arm and shoulder, forming a shoulderpad and cannon formed from twisted, warped metal.
Keeping a close eye on the bird, waiting for its next attack, he gathered reitsu into the cannon on his right arm.
"Almost there..." He watched as the bird began to flap, aiming another attack directly at him.
It began to flap. "Furea Panchi!"!
A huge blast of fire shot, meeting the feather whirlwind head on. The blast of flames tore through it, hitting the hollow directly. The gang watched as the bird had a single, angry spasm before exploding, a supernova of heat and feathers.
Nothing remained but a few feathers and a small, twisted piece of mask, landing in front of a tree.
"Good job. Things were dicey there for a sec, but I didn't think that thing could take you." Golde said as he walked up and handed him a jawbreaker.
"Uh, thanks," He said, as he stuffed it in his robes.
"So, how about a few more before returning to the soul society?" Golde chuckled.
"YEAH!!" Luppi yelled.
"Allright then," Jordan said, chuckling from excitement.
"Well than, shall we go?"

Yeah. Well, these are all redone, if you look at the last club, there's like, 23 or so chapters, and I'm nowhere near done yet. Sooo...yeah. Like, all the people who were around when I wrote it are in the fic. Also...next season, people around now will be a part as well.
No prob. It's quite good. I like the OCs, mainly the 11th Squad and the 4th. Though I don't remember their names... Oh, and the chapters are a bit short. The 4th seemed like it could easily fit with the 3rd.

Woohoo, I've been waiting for this fight for a long time!
My favorite part is at the end of episode 166 where Ichigo just stops Grimmy dead in his tracks and says... "I've had a change of heart, and I can't allow myself to get beaten by someone like you." xD
And I have to give props to Grimmjow for his sexy Resurrección. xD
I wonder if they are only going to show only one episode next week or if they are going into the filler arc with the second episode.

I been waiting to watch this episode for a while now .. finally saw it i thought Ichigo was going to lose but when he stop grimmjow in his Resurreccion form with one hand i knew he was going to win . ( but the was an awesome battle to watch )

Chad came out of his fight in the same if not better condition than Uryu! The only reason he got beat at first was because his powers had not fully awakened yet. Once they did, the majority of his serious injuries were gone from what I could see. And Chad had to fight the 5th Espada while Uryu only had to fight the 8th. -_-

Yeah, Uryu got pummeled alright. Uryu just sorta won, I mean, he only got hit a couple of times. And Chad was getting pummeled.
Not to mention, iirc, Cirucci is higher-ranked than that disco dude <cannot remember name>.
And Chad was already pummeled by that disco dude, but Nnorita won, with great ease.
And Uryu won with a bit of a struggle. Only a bit, but that's for the first round.
Round two with Szayel he had to get rescued. Chad had to be rescued everytime. o.o;;

I didn't really expect Katen Kyokotsu to have two spirits, even though it is a double bladed zanpakuto.
Haha, they have to fight against enemies they normally wouldn't want to. A pretty lady for Kyoraku and kids for Ukitake.
