Well, looks like the final battle is starting. Ichigo wounding Aizen is pretty cool.
We know now that Aizen didn't give himself any hollow powers.like i thought
I don't know why I didn't expect him to be using the Hougyoku before.
I'm guessing that he was able to survive Itto Kasou by using the Hougyoku, and probably would have been able to survive Ennetsu Jigoku too. >.< Aizen just went up another step on the god-mod bar.
It's kind of sad to know, at least for now, that Yamamoto is dead.
I hope Unohana and Hachi are healing some of the other captains so that we have someone to replace him, if needed.
Though, I hope he's not dead since we haven't seen his bankai yet. :/

Hmm, that's interesting. The final fight of the Arrancar Arc... It seems likely that the rumours about an isshin mini-arc are true.
It seems as though Yamamoto blew himself up to damage Aizen... So I'm guessing he'll be out for pretty much the rest of the fight?
I don't really like the image of the Getsuga destroying the building in half... Because we all know that Aizen is going to survive it, so showing that he can survive something so powerful is a bit too much.
My eyes widened when I first saw him wounded.

Ah, so at least we know that he hasn't become a Vaizard. So we just have to worry about Bankai, really, and even then it could be an illusion.

The squad 7 Lieutenant, Antony “Ant” Alfredo stood on top of the Squad 7 HQ. He had been assigned guard duty, and was already bored.
He was a tall, black man with a large red and orange scarf covering his mouth. He was also a very muscular individual; he almost joined Squad 11 instead.
He was looking down the building, wishing he could help on the front lines, when he sensed something odd. He stood up and looked around…however, he couldn’t see a thing. He could sense that the spiritual pressure was moving very fast, almost as if it was everywhere at once.
He barely dodged the wave of black energy that sliced through the building to his left.
As he landed, he glanced at its origin, and gasped.
“Y-you?”

Kiyoko and the others spread out and were assisting in guarding the South Gate.
“You’re really lucky, Kiyoko.” said Luppi.
“Hmm?”
”Right out of the academy, and you’re already at rank 3. That’s really good, I wish I coulda got that high…”
If only you knew the truth…Kiyoko thought, her ears lowering in sadness. But, she quickly changed her attitude.
“It’s just a lot of natural talent, I guess. And I had to work at it too. But don’t worry, it shouldn’t be too long before you get a higher rank, too. Remember, you’ve only just unlocked your shikai.”
”That’s true…thanks.” She smiled.
“Of course!” She started to smile, but then glanced toward the woods. She grabbed Luppi’s hand and yanked her out of the way. The next moment, a massive amount of pure white energy hit the wall, sending shockwaves out so powerful it knocked half the people there to their knees.
“What WAS that?” yelled Luppi, drawing her sword.
Every shinigami in the area looked out toward the origin, and from the mass of shredded and snapped trees walked a tall man, about 6 foot, with bleach blond hair. In his hand, he held a broadsword wrapped heavily in bandages with several holes along the bladed edge. He wore heavy pants and an overcoat.
He alsowore a plain white mask with lines coming down it..
“Another enemy!” yelled Madison in anger, drawing her sword.
“That *******!” Jordan to prepared for the in oncoming duel.
“Stay back for just a moment!” Kiyoko yelled, but many of the other shinigami there ignored her and ran forward. They were instantly and brutally cut down by the man’s massive sword.
“I can tell that those were some of the weaker ones.” He mumbled, then looked at the seven or so shinigami left...including Kiyoko, Jordan, Madison, and Luppi.
”My name is Lelek Igyekezet. I am the third most powerful Shinigami Slayer. I am here to kill you all.”

The fact that the Shikai form becomes a spear that shoots electricity reminds me of Harvar's weapon form from Soul Eater. Zachiru's personality reminds me of this girl I know.
Damn, I remember that now. No, it looks much different, and is used mostly for combat and melee attacks than just lightningbolts like Ox Ford.

Yeah, it kind of is like when Ulquiorra's number was revealed.
I also doubt that Aizen had it all planned out. H probably could have been the cause for Rukia being sentenced for trying to give some of her powers to Ichigo, but not how they met.
Eh, Kubo will probably pull something out of his butt to make it so Aizen loses.

Some of those are really possible... Starting from the Soul Society arc, even up to Renji/Byakuya's battle. But his battle with Ishida? WHY THE FREAKING HECK would Aizen know about Ishida? Eeeeeesh.
Unless he had some kind of association with Ryuuken...

If Ichigo can just target the Hogyoku and either break it or get it away from Aizen, he might just have a chance of winning. Thoughts?

The reason he'd know about Ishida is because he's the one who sent that Gillian to the World of the Living. He commands the Hollows, so it wouldn't surprise me.

If the Hougyoku healed the wound from Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou, I would guess that it also healed his wounds from Yamamoto's Hadou.
Another thing to note, is that unless there's a distraction Unohana then there's no way that Ichigo will be able to attack the Hougyoku head on. And even then, Aizen would have had a back-up plan (remember that bit of Reiatsu he had behind his neck, which was his only blind spot, or something like that? If Aizen was prepared for that, he'd be prepared for Ichigo to attack the Hougyoku).
Also, Aizen still has Bankai. Kubo won't kill Aizen without revealing a Bankai. Unless Gin reveals himself to be the mastermind behind the mastermind and kills Aizen/reveals that Aizen never had a Bankai.

It could be possible that he used Fura to send that Gillian, but how could he have known that Ishida would challenge Ichigo? Let alone use the Hollow Bait. Unless he had planned to send one in regardless, and Ishida accidentally helped him, which would seem less likely than him actually having known anything in the first place.

“Tch!”
Rebekah, the Tenth squad Captain, barely dodged another of the foes attacks. The attack came again, a large pink mist. This time, it hit her leg, and she fell hard.
“Crap!” She shunpoed behind a building. What can I do against this guy, she thought to herself...I'm fast, but this is ridiculous...
She looked at her leg…it looked horrible. She had to release her sword…

Kiyoko glanced at Lelek.
“Why are you doing this?” She yelled. If she was going to die, she wouldn’t die in ignorance. “Why do you insist on killing us?”
“This is no time for questions!” yelled a shinigami at her right. “We have to kill them!”
As he ran toward the enemy, Lelek sat down on the log of a fallen tree.
”You people disgust me. All you care about is killing and you’re so called “justice”. You’re sickening.” The man tripped, Lelek swung his sword, and then the shinigami didn’t have a head anymore.
Kiyoko grabbed her sword. “Kira, Ryookami!” Her sword turned into a long, thin paintbrush. Though it was lightweight, it was easily as long as she was.
Jordan released next, his sword melting and twisting over his arm, forming a large cannon and shoulder guard.
Madison had also released by this time. She was one of the first people to obtain shikai in the entire academy, and was extremely adept at it. She swung around the chain and hook.
Luppi, on the other hand, would have to wait. She knew that, since she had just reached shikai, her spiritual pressure would be used rapidly, especially since it was so powerful, and this day was so damned powerful.
“What’s this?” said the man. “Do you not have a release?”
“That’s none of you’re business!” yelled Luppi. She turned to Kiyoko. “Hey…” She whispered something in her ear.
“That’s smart, good idea.” Kiyoko turned her menacing glare toward Lelek. “I’m sure we can take him now!”
“Are you sure about that? Look around.”
They did, and saw that the two shinigami left were laying dead on the ground, shriveled, like a corpse completely void of liquid.
“Wha…what?” Madison stuttered, terrified.
“No ****ing way…” Jordan cursed. He turned “How?”
“I’m sure you’ll figure it out soon enough. I didn’t do it to the rest of you is because you seem to be the most interesting. It’s been forever since I’ve had a good fight…” He got up. “Our second in command surprisingly isn’t a good fighter, and our leader never fights us. I’ve been wanting a good match for a long time. So let’s go.” He threw his sword over his shoulder. “I’m ready, how about you?”
“Tch…” Kiyoko was a bit panicky… “Guys, what do you think…this guys strong…”
After a moment, the answer was obvious.
Jordan hefted his cannon over his shoulder. “Heh, it’s not like we could escape.”
”And even if we could, why would we? Let's give him a run for his money!” said Madison, holding her chain.
Luppi lifted her sword. “So what are we waiting for?”
Kiyoko smiled. “Alright, everyone, let’s go!”

Golde was sucking on a sucker shaped like a foot, thinking about the next course of action. Obviously, the best course would be to take out the leader directly. He was sure he could do it, but, he had no idea where he was, and if he went to look, it would be plausible that they would pick THAT time to move...He just knew as soon as his concern switched from defense to offense, something major would happen that would require his assistance, like, oh, I don’t know, a nuclear holocaust or something…
But if he stayed, he had to leave the entire fate to a few scrambling Captains…no one really knows where these guys are or where they will strike…
He punched a wall…”F***ING GUERILLA WARFARE!”

“Rai!” Kiyoko drew her symbol for Lightning, and a bolt shot toward the masked man. He shunpoed, and dodged. As soon as he was spotted, Jordan fired a massive fireball at him. The man turned and cut through it, parting the fire on either side of him. From behind, chains encircled him, but as they began to tighten, he blocked them with his sword and freed himself, but left his sword entangled. With a swing, he sent Madison flying.
Luppi ran at him, going berserk with her sword, but, not one got through. He brought down his sword, but she jumped back before it hit.
“Dammit! He’s good…” Luppi adjusted her pose slightly, and lunged at him. He defended and parried, but luckily, it ended up only barely slicing Luppi’s arm.
“Damn!” She clutched her arm, blood was starting to come out, but not a deadly amount. She went to raise her sword again, but couldn’t. She looked down, and bandages encircled her blade.
”Wha…” She tried to pull away, but couldn’t. She struggled more, and then she saw several more bandages rise out of the ground, encircling her body. She looked panicky, and yelled for help, but, in just a moment, the air around her began to glow a hot white, and she screamed in pain.
Madison and Jordan cut the bandages, but Luppi collapsed. Madison checked, she was still alive, but obviously close to death. The places where the bandages were had burned through the fabric of her clothes, and bruises and blood were visible underneath, even her sword had turned gray in the affected areas, and had become brittle before about half of it crumbled. Whatever this attack was, it was devastating.
“It’s a spiritual pressure leeching technique,” said a voice behind Madison. Shocked, she glanced over her shoulder, and saw the man. In just a second, she lifted and threw Luppi toward Jordan, before grabbing her sickles and turning at the mans’ legs.
Jordan, understanding, took Luppi somewhere a bit farther away, at least a bit safer. But Madison wasn’t so lucky. As she turned to cut the mans kneecaps, he lifted his leg and kicked her in the shoulder. Her body twisted awkwardly and was sent flying.
“Tsuchi!”
Kiyoko influenced the ground all around him, moving it upwards astoundingly fast, sending him flying up with it. Jordan, now back, sent a barrage of fireballs at Lelek. He spun his broadsword around, protecting himself. He landed on a tree limb, and sent a wave of white energy at Kiyoko. Jordan sent out a blast of fire to neutralize it. Kiyoko then wrote the symbol for fire in the air, sending a massive blast of fire at Lelek. Jordan, from behind, sent a huge fireball at him as well.
The two blasts of fire collided perfectly, hitting the man with maximum force. Jordan and Kiyoko looked up happily, seeing the supernova in the sky.
That is, until Jordan was hit in the back of the neck with the end of the mans broadsword. With his eyes opened wide and his mouth agape, he dropped to the ground with a mixture of shock and pain.
“How?” Kiyoko stared at him in wonder. “That hit you, I know it did. How could you possibly survive?”
He started to walk toward her. “When my spiritual pressure reaches a certain level, it can be used as a shield. I combine my already off the chart level spiritual pressure with that which I absorb from others using my bandages.” Kiyoko, still slightly in shock purely because of his power, shakily wrote the symbol for water in the air. “Mi-Mizu!”
She added quite a bit of energy into this one. The air around her became heavy and humid, and a blast of water shot down and hit him in the chest. He staggered backwards for just a bit, then knocked it away. “You don’t listen, do you?” He lifted his sword. “I can’t be defeated by you!”
He swung his sword, and hit her in the side with the side of the sword. She thought she heard a rib crack just before she tried to inhale, only to realize the air had been knocked from her lungs. The lack of air and searing pain made her collapse into a broken pile.
The man lifted his sword and hefted it over his shoulder. “This is it? This is all the Soul Society puts me up against? None of you have even gotten up after my first blow to you. You are pathetic. Every last one of you.” It had started to rain, and the drops dripped off his mask as he looked at each of them. “Now, all that’s left is to kill you, since it's apparent that none of you wish to continue.”
He raised his sword high, and it began to glow a hot white. He grabbed it with his second hand, but before he brought it down, a massive force hit him from behind. He dropped his sword and fell to his knees.
Behind him stood Luppi, holding her release, Taifugaan. Water swirled around the sword in a miniature maelstrom. “Sick f***, don’t let your guard down.” She chuckled, but it was obvious she wan’t in the best condition - She was on her very last legs.
The man got to one knee. “You’re right. I let my guard down. I’m impressed.” He grabbed his sword, and staggered to his feet. It was obvious that, even though it was a powerful attack, he could still fight. Luppi had hoped it would do more damage than that, though…s***.
”My guess is that took most of however much spiritual pressure you have left. So, let’s go.”

Kiyoko slowly awoke, her eyes were misty, but she could see the figures of Lelek and Luppi fighting…good, she thought, the rain worked.
She tried to get up, but pain immediately shot through her body. Her eyes widened, and she collapsed again...Damn…
As she rolled over, nearly defeated, she saw someone’s foot. She looked up, and someone’s hand reached out and grabbed hers’.
“Of course,” she said, with obvious pain in her voice, “it would be you to save the day.”
”Just shut up and let me save you…”

Luppi couldn’t do anything but block. Whenever she attacked, he blocked and attacked almost faster than she could defend. She looked around, was there anything she could use to defeat him before the rain wore out? She looked around for something to aide her, and she noticed that Kiyoko wasn’t where she fell.
Of course, she almost got hit because she wasn’t paying attention. Stay focused, she thought to herself. She tried to strike again, but he defended. His pure physical strength was at least her equal, probably more, and her strength was nothing to laugh at. The sad thing was, he was obviously holding back.
She glanced over his shoulder, and noticed that Jordan, too, was now gone. What the heck?

The man lifted and carried Madison off, out of the mans viewing range. When he reached the spot he prepared, he threw her into the bubble of water also containg Kiyoko and Jordan. The healing was rapid, but he just hoped that it would be rapid enough…

What the f***? Now Madison is gone? Why am I out of this ****ing loop?
She hit his sword three times, before he parried and struck himself. She blocked, and water encircled his sword, but he easily pulled away. He jumped back.
“You truly are one of the best foes I’ve ever had. And for that I congratulate you. But, unfortunately, this must end. He raised his sword, and it once again glowed a hot white. Luppi knew this would be the final blow. She just needed to know how it would strike so she could dodge…Vertical? Horizontal? Maybe if she jumped at an angle…it wouldn’t matter…
Oh well, she thought. Might as well die with dignity, right? She kicked up her spiritual pressure, and the water around her sword began to swirl viciously, even to the point of creating foam, like in the white water rapids she had once read about.
“This truly has been a wonderful battle. I’m almost sorry that I have to do this.” As he brought his sword down, chains encircled his neck, but this time, successfully. Madison landed on his back, and with a violent twist of her body, she threw the man far behind her, where Jordan hit him with a blast of fire. He managed to deflect it, but he then lunged and cut Lelek’s shoulder. He cringed in pain, and rolled over the ground, before being stopped by a kick by Kiyoko. She drew the symbol for lightning, and a blast of lightning hit him square in the chest. The man laid there, his entire body limp.
All eyes turned to Luppi, who was staring viciously as the rest of them. “Way to ruin my moment...” She said, before her sword quit swirling and she collapsed, almost completely unconscious. Luckily, the man managed to catch her, and he surrounded her in a veil of healing water. “It’s Ok, just rest.”
”Mizuhashi?”
He nodded, and she let her eyes drop.
Kiyoko almost let her shikai disperse, but, then, the man turned from his position and kicked her in the shin.
“F***ER!”
He jumped back, obviously more damaged than he planned to get today. “Damn you all. I'm sure you must've found my weakness. You know I can’t sense spiritual pressure well, no?”
”Now we do,” said Madison with a chuckle.
“It’s no matter. You can’t stop my next form.” He raised his sword over his head. “Second Stage - Mummify, Hiru!”

You know how Aizen referred to Orihime's power as being godlike? I wouldn't be surprised if this finally ends with Orihime defeating Aizen simply by rejecting his existence.

Yes, I know that Ichigo has supposedly not seen Aizen's shikai. What bugs me is; Aizen should have realised that too, but he seemed unconcerned. We all thought he wasn't using Kyoukasuigetsu some chapters back, but then; BAM, Momo was stabbed. What's preventing Kubo to go just one step further and do the same? >.>
And remember what Unohana said back in the Garganta? She thought that Ichigo was at full strength just because his reiatsu is comparable to a Captain. But now? e.e

"Mummify, Hiru!"
From his sword, white hot energy surrounded him. Bandages from the hilt began to cover the entire sword, then up his arm, before covering his entire body. By the end, he was completely mummified; not one piece of skin, cloth or hair was visible. Several strips of bandages began to stretch out from the body, seemingly independent on the body. The mans arms hung limp, and, once the body was finished, the sword began to mutate, several extra edges began to emerge from the sword, ripping outwards from the bandages.
He stood there for a minute, his body hanging limp in this new form; the only signs of muscle control was the fact that he was standing…and that he was still gripping his sword.
Kiyoko went over to Mizuhashi. “Listen, those bandages absorb spiritual pressure, be careful.”
”Oh, that’s what happened?” said Luppi, awakening as her injuries started to heal. “Yeah, you don’t want that, trust me.”

Medusa and Bars ran toward Phasma's last known location. No one was there, so they continued on.
”Where is he, anyway?” Medusa asked.
“I don’t know, he was supposed to create a distraction, but he isn’t inside, and I don’t sense him in the woods, so…”
They walked a little farther, and saw evidence of a fight. “Maybe,” started Bars, “He had a fight, and had to leave.”
“I don’t think so.” Medusa said, with concern. “Look Bars.”
He looked in the direction she was pointing, and there laid Phasma Animus. Dead, with two bloody holes in his chest.
“No…NO!” Bars ran to Phasma. He touched the cold body, he felt for a pulse, but he still couldn’t believe it. “You can’t be dead! No...PHASMA!”
Medusa bent down and gently placed a hand on his shoulder. “I’m sorry Bars. I understand. But, please, bear with me. It’ll be Ok…”
That was the straw that broke the camels back. Bars drew his sword and smacked Medusa in the head with the side of it.
”No! This isn’t possible….I’ve lost two friends today. Phasma…and…and you, Medusa. I don’t believe your story about how these people are good. I can’t. And if you’re going to side with them…then I, Bars Gees, the sixth strongest Shinigami Slayer, am now your enemy. Good-bye, Medusa.”
Clutching his sword, he turned and walked off, as Medusa collapsed, clutching her still bleeding head.

Lelek still hadn’t moved. Madison, Jordan, and Kiyoko were ready, and Mizuhashi was still healing Luppi.
“What the hell…” Kiyoko stood there, confused, debating on her next move. After a while, she decided to attack, so she wrote the symbol for fire in the air, and a wave of fire shot out. The being simply sidestepped, and the wave rushed past.
Madison tried next; she threw one of her sickles at him. However, this time, a hand grabbed the chain and pulled, swinging her into a tree.
Kiyoko looked across the field at Jordan. “Don’t confront unless necessary!”
A thumb’s up.
“Done.” Mizuhashi called as he recalled the water, and Luppi stood there, seemingly fine.
“Mizuhashi, get back. No offense, but you’re not the strongest shinigami…”
“No problem. I’ll hang back.” He walked back into the woods a bit.
Okay, thought Kiyoko, this is gonna be tricky.

Noza knew what he had to do. He would find the Sotaicho, and kill him. Without the mastermind, the minions run around waiting to die.
He enveloped himself in spiritual pressure, rippling the air around him. He was very good at this move; he perfected it himself.
He walked through the crowd of shinigami on guard duty. He chuckled.
Now, all I need to do is find and kill this...Golde, he thought, as he turned and struck down all the shinigami in front of him.

Jordan had little time to react.
Bandages shot out from the ground. He cut several with his arm-cannon, and the rest he incinerated.
“He’s started!” He yelled, as he shot a blast of fire at Lelek. He deflected it with ease, and lunged at Jordan. As Jordan began to defend, a chained sickle wrapped around Lelek's foot and dragged him back to earth. He got up, seemingly unscathed, and lunged at Madison.
”Shoot!” She jumped back, just as a massive sword obliterated the ground where she just stood. She launched another sickle at his face, but it was deflected by a bandage. Madison managed to pull it back before it crumbled, like Luppi’s sword from before.
Meanwhile, Jordan had an idea. “Madison! Come here!”
They stood whispering for just a moment, before Madison nodded and shunpoed off. Jordan readied his cannon.
From the end, he released a quick blast of intense flames from it. He staggered backwards, at least slightly affected by the constant wave of flames, then bumped into a tree.
“NOW!”
Jordan stopped the onslaught, but Maddy's chain encircled the man, and she held tight, keeping him pressed hard against the tree.
Jordan then ran forward, and shot a highly concentrated blast of flames right at the mans’ head.
When he finally stopped, the entire torso was limp, and Madison recovered her chain, leaving the man to fall.
Jordan walked up and grabbed a portion of the mans hair, visible after the bandages had been blown off. He lifted up the head and looked…
The man stared back, golden eyes ablaze.
In the next moment, bandages shot out from everywhere, completely encircling Jordan Inferno. When the bandages were withdrawn, Jordan stood for just a minute, before collapsing, defeated. His sword fell beside him, his shikai dispersed.
“Jordan!” Kiyoko yelled. The man turned, the golden eyes rested on her. He dashed toward her so fast she barely had time to react. She deflected his sword and ran by him, she had to get Jordan to Mizuhashi…
She scooped him up and ran into the woods. “Handle him for a minute, Luppi, Madison!”
It was up to them now…

“Let’s go,” said Luppi to Madison.
She looked at her. “Ok, Luppi. Let’s do it.”
Luppi ran at Lelek, and struck him. He defended with his sword. The next minute, Madison ran by, her sickle grabbing the tip of the sword and pulling it into the ground.
The water around Luppi’s sword began to swirl faster. She struck at the mans shoulder, but he deflected her sword with his palm. Madison threw a sickle at the back of the mans kneecap. It seemed effective enough, and Luppi, her sword now foamy from how fast the water was swirling, struck through his shoulder, near, if not through, his heart.
She removed her sword, and Madison stepped out of the way. The man staggered backwards, and the duo were shocked at what they saw. His leg straightened, and his shoulder sealed; he was healing himself.
The man grabbed his sword tighter, and struck the ground. From that, white hot energy emerged from the ground and shot towards Luppi. Luppi managed to block most of it with the aide of her water, but she was still sent flying backwards. She landed on the trunk of a tree, before launching herself back at him. Madison too, lunged.
But alas, it was no good. Bandages from the mans body wrapped around their legs and twirled them around, before smashing them into the ground.
“Tch.” Luppi felt something snap…
“God…” Madison rolled over, her leg bent at an awkward angle.
As Lelek tried to deal the finishing blow, his sword was hit with a blast of lightning, which made him stop for a moment. He turned his attention to Kiyoko, who had just returned. She held her brush and growled menacingly.
“Tsuchi!” A rock spike shot from the ground and hit the man in the chest, blood trickling down the earthen spear.
“Kaze!” A tornado like gust hit him straight in the face, twisting it awkwardly. As he staggered back, Luppi and Madison struck the man in either leg, severing them deeply, and he collapsed.
As the man fell down, Kiyoko jumped on him, and grabbed his head. With a quick movement, she snapped his neck, and the body stayed limp.
She got up and started to walk away, leaving the man there for just a moment. She was exhausted…and she almost got wrapped up by a bandage.
Wearily, she turned quickly. The bandages seemed to still be in control now. They were flying everywhere. She raised her brush and quickly wrote a symbol...she put every bit of her remaining spiritual pressure into it.
The man and the ground around him became enflamed. The bandages resisted at first, but as the spiritual pressure began to fade, they shriveled and burned, leaving the corpse itself to burn.The man was being cremated before their very eyes.
“It’s finally over,” said Kiyoko, before collapsing, unconscious, with the rest of them.

All the members of the club stood in a large room. Golde walked out in front of the rest.
"This isn't part of the story", he said, a stoic look on his face. "After almost two years, it was decided that we need to reset the club." He wiped a metaphorical tear from his eye.
He smiled then. "But, when one door closes, another opens! Hopefully, the new club will be bigger and better than ever! I sincerely hope that we'll have even more friends and colleagues."
"This could be...No, it IS the biggest and bestest thing I've ever done here on Serebii. And I'd like to thank you guys for helping it to be this big. I'll always remember this place, regardless of what happens in the future. So, a big thanks to you guys, and hopes that the future will be better than ever! All together now!"
All the members of the Seretei raised their voices in unison.
"Thank You All, In Hopes For A Better Tomorrow!"
And with that, the reruns are done. Time to finish the MASKS arc. So, sometime, probably tomorrow, I'll finally post the long awaited Chapter 26.

Wow, Ed, that sure was 2 long chapters. I'm surprised I managed to finish reading them in one morning XP. I really enjoyed the fight against Lelek, if only because it was a damn good bit of strategy. And your scene with the foot sucker made me lol.
Though what will happen now? Will the MASKS arc end, killing everyone who left, and then everyone new will be added for the next arc of whatever you have planned?

The four shinigami - Joubu, Ant, Rebekah, and Oya had absolutely no idea what was going on…each of them thought they were hallucinating…there was no way!
There was no way that Hitsugaya, Kuchiki, Zaraki, and Kurosaki could be alive!

“That’s it! I’m going!” Golde yelled. He grabbed his sword and shot out of a window. Suspended in midair, he looked through the woods, then through the town…
“Shit…" he remembered...no leads. To be honest, he really had no idea what to expect, a trail of destruction? Maybe a large, neon sign?
Oh shit…what was that? He looked down…he could feel something…it was scrambled, but still definitely there. He dove down for a closer look.

Noza looked up, seeing Golde himself in midair, looking for him, probably. He chuckled, and pulled out his cell.
“Takai…are the four pawns in place?”
”Yes, Noza. The four reborn corpses have been sent out.”
“Good. Then it’s time to take out this establishment at its head.” He closed the phone, rubbed his hand through his spiky, dirty blonde hair, and put on his pure white mask.

“Ha! I found you, you f***er!”
Golde had a psychotic look on his face as he drew his sword and brought it down hard on an empty space in the middle of a large square. The people nearby looked shocked; their head-captain finally went insane. However, when the smoke cleared, they noticed his sword pushing down on an invisible force.
There was a short ripple in the air, and before Golde stood Noza.
“Hello there, Sotaicho.”
“You know me, but who the hell are you?” said Golde, jumping back.
“My name is Noza Noza. I am the leader of the Shinigami Slayers. We’ve come here to kill all the shinigami…you specifically, Sotaicho.” He pointed his sword at Golde, and chuckled. “Shall we take this somewhere else?”
“Where do you have in mind, Noza?” said Golde.
“Well,” he said, looking over Golde’s shoulder into the forest. “I know a beautiful cliff in that direction. Just by the sea, it’s beautiful. Really.” He chuckled. “This kinda place isn’t my style.”
“I get it, you want to lead me away from the Seretei, right?”
“Maybe…maybe not. Either way, I’m going.” He shunpoed away.
“Oh no you don’t!” Golde knew he was leading him away, but he had no choice. He dove into the forest.

Oya Tsuchi was the unlucky one fighting the famed captain Kenpachi Zaraki. And even worse, Oya was terminal. Which…yeah. Sucked.
Kenpachi was striking Oya with no mercy, and Oya was having a hard time just blocking these. He blocked again, and started going into a coughing fit. He shunpoed back.
“No time to waste, especially if this is the same Kenpachi in the legends…” He looked over, the long haired man looked back, with an insane look on his face. He jumped at Oya.
Oya stabbed his sword into the ground. “Spread and Grow, Ki!”
The sword shot underground, and almost instantly, a large, silver, twisted object shot up, and started to grow under Oya’s feet. It lifted him higher, and from the twisted hunk shot out different, odd looking outcroppings. As the twisted mass and its various “limbs” began to harden, it was apparent the nature of this object. In just a matter of seconds, an immense, silver tree stood before Kenpachi.
And he was still smiling.
Oya poked his head out from the leaves. “Come on up.”

Rebekah pulled out her sword.
“Buzz, Hachi Rajikon!”
Her sword changed immensely. The sword thickened in some places, but thinned in others. It was soon obvious the sword was splitting into sections. From each “section”, there were two blades that shot out. The sword became foreign in appearance, and as she held it up, the sword fell apart into six pieces, plus the guard.
Just before the pieces hit the ground, they buzzed to life, and began to hover upwards. They formed a halo around her body. In her hand she still held the hilt.
She limped out from the corner, and saw the man controlling the pink mass; Byakuya Kuchiki. At least, he looked like the man in the pictures.
She swung her hilt “Take this!”
Each of the aforementioned sections shot outwards toward the fabled Captain.
“Strike!”
All 7 pieces of her sword shot towards Byakuya. They were deflected by the mass, which shot towards her at the same time.
What Byakuya didn’t count on was that the pieces were unscathed, and shot toward him, and now he was unguarded.
He withdrew his attack and blocked the pieces.
As he moved his blades away enough for him to see through, he saw the woman, willing to fight tooth and nail against someone she knows to be as formidable as he is.
“I admire your determination. Unfortunately, no one can help the fact that you will die, here and now.”

Ant was having a hard time. Ichigo Kurosaki was supposedly one of the strongest Captain level shinigami of all time. And he was just a Lieutenant! There was no way…but…maybe he could hold him off.
He had released his sword; his one sword split into two. They were large, and almost mechanical looking.
He looked behind him, Ichigo was headed right toward him. Ant swung his sword into the building. It may have looked idiotic to anyone else, but the entire stone ceiling flipped up and hit Ichigo in the face!
“YEAH!” screamed Ant. That is, until he realized that the face smashing never actually happened. Ichigo cut right through the ceiling panels.
“Oh f-“

Joubu was almost ecstatic. Usually he was cool and collected, but this was Toshiro Hitsugaya! One of the youngest and strongest Captain in history! At least, he thought this was Hitsugaya. Either way, he had to be a good fight.
A large dragon made of ice swirled around Hitsugaya.
“I really don’t want to do this, but I have no choice. I apologize.”
”No need,” said Joubu, with a sadistic smile. “I’m happy.”
He drew his sword and attacked.

Authors Note - Spro/Pazzo repeats some of his words. It's not a mess up, just an abnormal way he talks. He also kinda talks singsong.
”Well, then, it’s time, time time to attack!” Said a mysterious man, walking in the shadows near the gate. “They’ll never never know what HAPPENED!”
“Spro.”
The man almost fell over in shock. He turned around, and saw Bars Gees behind him. “Damn, dammit Bars! I told you it’s Pazzo!”
“Whatever. Listen, Phasma’s dead. Lelek could be too, I wouldn’t doubt it at this point.” He removed his mask. “What now?”
”What what now?” The man looked around. “THIS **** SHIT’S GONNA GET DEEP IS WHAT NOW!”

Anyway, I quite enjoyed the chapter (despite, yeah. The final fight began somewhat oddly, though a psychotic character (Golde) is always freaking awesome to have.

@Golde: Time for my first full-blown chapter review.
Lol at your new chapter. Really, Ichigo, Byakuya, and Kenpachi? Could you have picked any stronger opponents? Like maybe Yama, Aizen, and Barrangara? I'm sorry, but that's just no good. Much as I like the idea of phantom Captains needing to be defeated, that's too over the top.
Other than that, it was really well done. Your reaction to finding Noza Noza was priceless. As was the ending. Although you really leave some ends hanging loose from last chapter, such as what happend to the guys who were fighting against Leklek. Don't get me wrong, I love your battle discription, your plotlines, and your comedy; but there still plenty of stuff you can improve on.

The four shinigami - Joubu, Ant, Rebekah, and Oya had absolutely no idea what was going on…each of them thought they were hallucinating…there was no way!
There was no way that Hitsugaya, Kuchiki, Zaraki, and Kurosaki could be alive!

“That’s it! I’m going!” Golde yelled. He grabbed his sword and shot out of a window. Suspended in midair, he looked through the woods, then through the town…
“****…" he remembered...no leads. To be honest, he really had no idea what to expect, a trail of destruction? Maybe a large, neon sign?
Oh ****…what was that? He looked down…he could feel something…it was scrambled, but still definitely there. He dove down for a closer look.

Noza looked up, seeing Golde himself in midair, looking for him, probably. He chuckled, and pulled out his cell.
“Takai…are the four pawns in place?”
”Yes, Noza. The four reborn corpses have been sent out.”
“Good. Then it’s time to take out this establishment at its head.” He closed the phone, rubbed his hand through his spiky, dirty blonde hair, and put on his pure white mask.

“Ha! I found you, you f***er!”
Golde had a psychotic look on his face as he drew his sword and brought it down hard on an empty space in the middle of a large square. The people nearby looked shocked; their head-captain finally went insane. However, when the smoke cleared, they noticed his sword pushing down on an invisible force.
There was a short ripple in the air, and before Golde stood Noza.
“Hello there, Sotaicho.”
“You know me, but who the hell are you?” said Golde, jumping back.
“My name is Noza Noza. I am the leader of the Shinigami Slayers. We’ve come here to kill all the shinigami…you specifically, Sotaicho.” He pointed his sword at Golde, and chuckled. “Shall we take this somewhere else?”
“Where do you have in mind, Noza?” said Golde.
“Well,” he said, looking over Golde’s shoulder into the forest. “I know a beautiful cliff in that direction. Just by the sea, it’s beautiful. Really.” He chuckled. “This kinda place isn’t my style.”
“I get it, you want to lead me away from the Seretei, right?”
“Maybe…maybe not. Either way, I’m going.” He shunpoed away.
“Oh no you don’t!” Golde knew he was leading him away, but he had no choice. He dove into the forest.

Oya Tsuchi was the unlucky one fighting the famed captain Kenpachi Zaraki. And even worse, Oya was terminal. Which…yeah. Sucked.
Kenpachi was striking Oya with no mercy, and Oya was having a hard time just blocking these. He blocked again, and started going into a coughing fit. He shunpoed back.
“No time to waste, especially if this is the same Kenpachi in the legends…” He looked over, the long haired man looked back, with an insane look on his face. He jumped at Oya.
Oya stabbed his sword into the ground. “Spread and Grow, Ki!”
The sword shot underground, and almost instantly, a large, silver, twisted object shot up, and started to grow under Oya’s feet. It lifted him higher, and from the twisted hunk shot out different, odd looking outcroppings. As the twisted mass and its various “limbs” began to harden, it was apparent the nature of this object. In just a matter of seconds, an immense, silver tree stood before Kenpachi.
And he was still smiling.
Oya poked his head out from the leaves. “Come on up.”

Rebekah pulled out her sword.
“Buzz, Hachi Rajikon!”
Her sword changed immensely. The sword thickened in some places, but thinned in others. It was soon obvious the sword was splitting into sections. From each “section”, there were two blades that shot out. The sword became foreign in appearance, and as she held it up, the sword fell apart into six pieces, plus the guard.
Just before the pieces hit the ground, they buzzed to life, and began to hover upwards. They formed a halo around her body. In her hand she still held the hilt.
She limped out from the corner, and saw the man controlling the pink mass; Byakuya Kuchiki. At least, he looked like the man in the pictures.
She swung her hilt “Take this!”
Each of the aforementioned sections shot outwards toward the fabled Captain.
“Strike!”
All 7 pieces of her sword shot towards Byakuya. They were deflected by the mass, which shot towards her at the same time.
What Byakuya didn’t count on was that the pieces were unscathed, and shot toward him, and now he was unguarded.
He withdrew his attack and blocked the pieces.
As he moved his blades away enough for him to see through, he saw the woman, willing to fight tooth and nail against someone she knows to be as formidable as he is.
“I admire your determination. Unfortunately, no one can help the fact that you will die, here and now.”

(Authors Note – Ant was made before Ant joined the club. There is no relation.)
Ant was having a hard time. Ichigo Kurosaki was supposedly one of the strongest Captain level shinigami of all time. And he was just a Lieutenant! There was no way…but…maybe he could hold him off.
He had released his sword; his one sword split into two. They were large, and almost mechanical looking.
He looked behind him, Ichigo was headed right toward him. Ant swung his sword into the building. It may have looked idiotic to anyone else, but the entire stone ceiling flipped up and hit Ichigo in the face!
“YEAH!” screamed Ant. That is, until he realized that the face smashing never actually happened. Ichigo cut right through the ceiling panels.
“Oh f-“

Joubu was almost ecstatic. Usually he was cool and collected, but this was Toshiro Hitsugaya! One of the youngest and strongest Captain in history! At least, he thought this was Hitsugaya. Either way, he had to be a good fight.
A large dragon made of ice swirled around Hitsugaya.
“I really don’t want to do this, but I have no choice. I apologize.”
”No need,” said Joubu, with a sadistic smile. “I’m happy.”
He drew his sword and attacked.

Authors Note - Spro/Pazzo repeats some of his words. It's not a mess up, just an abnormal way he talks. He also kinda talks singsong.
”Well, then, it’s time, time time to attack!” Said a mysterious man, walking in the shadows near the gate. “They’ll never never know what HAPPENED!”
“Spro.”
The man almost fell over in shock. He turned around, and saw Bars Gees behind him. “Damn, dammit Bars! I told you it’s Pazzo!”
“Whatever. Listen, Phasma’s dead. Lelek could be too, I wouldn’t doubt it at this point.” He removed his mask. “What now?”
”What what now?” The man looked around. “THIS **** ****’S GONNA GET DEEP IS WHAT NOW!”

Pretty good chapter, I never would have expected the canon characters to appear. Kind of reminds me of Orochimaru's Impure World Resurrection summoning jutsu. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Anyway, I quite enjoyed the chapter (despite, yeah. The final fight began somewhat oddly, though a psychotic character (Golde) is always freaking awesome to have.

1) Yeah, if it is the final fight, it is just a little weird, I guess.
2) I had that idea forever ago. By the time I decided I didn't like it, it was too late to change. It is weird, they're basically zombies. They're not gonna be around forever [spoils lol]
3) Yes, Noza Noza.
4) The four remaining Shinigami Slayers? O.o
Noza, Takai, Bars, and Pazzo? There's still Medusa, Iki, and Tamarensa, lol, but I guess that's easily confusable
