Well there are always breaks for the Jump mangaka - they definitely deserve the vacation time they get, actually, they deserve more...

I recently picked up that old databook... Souls, or however it's stylized... Anyway there's an interview with Kubo and if memory (from like, a few days ago) serves, he said he didn't even have any time off! LOL

Regardless if things are going a bit downhill, he still works hard, as do all the mangaka in Jump, and they deserve every bit of time off that they get.

Also, you have to remember that there was an uncalled for week off due to the disasters in Japan. That certainly couldn't be helped.

But... I guess, because of that, things seem a lot slower, even if just looking at releases and ignoring actual content (or lack thereof)!

Offense- 90
Jaku is extremely powerful when it comes to his attacks, however, due to the widespread effectiveness of some, the accuracy is so-so. With his light-speed sword strikes, he can attack extremely quickly dealing alot of damage


Defense- 80
Jaku is not very keen at defending in shikai, but in bankai his defense is kicked up a notch, with his shield and armor, he can block most incoming attacks, making his defense a key asset


Mobility- 100
Jaku can move at near light-speeds and is extremely agile, and this physical ability is merely amplified with bankai as he gains wings and his speed is increased. He can most possibly be one of the fastest shinigami in the gotei 13

Kido / Reiatsu- 70
Jaku has quite a bit of reiatsu himself, though most of that would be expended in his first few attacks, he relies on his zanpakuto absorbing solar energy and converting it into spiritual energy go green, with solar panel swords!

Intelligence- 100
Jaku has a photographic memory and his mind can work as fast (if not faster) than his reflexes, he can think quick and analyze the situation to every possible outcome, and uses his personally designed glasses to analyze his opponents and locate their weak spots. He likes playing it slow at first so he can learn his opponent's patterns and identify their weaknesses, though when he really gets going for a fight, he often rushes into things

Stamina- 70
Jaku is tough, he can take a bullet to the shoulder and keep fighting, if anything manages to break through his near indestructible armor and shield in bankai, he can take the pain of a direct wound.


Backstory: Jaku's past is shrouded in some mystery. before he joined squad 7 he worked with a rogue group when he was 13, dedicated to fighting for the lives of people throughout the universe, no matter how big or small, good or evil, he never liked violence. He left the group when he was 14 and wandered the earth for two years, sharpening his mind, his relfexes, and his ability to take pain. when he was 16 he joined the soul society and became a part of squad 7, he was there for five years now that his current age is 21, he has never lost a fight yet, but his checkered past leads some to believe he has some kind of emotional attachment, wherever he goes he carries a silver necklace on his neck, with a silver key on the end, he is often times found holding it, staring at it, as if to remembering something long ago.
 

Well the character battle data stats are supposed to reflect yourself more so than an OC.
Not saying that a non-captain can't be strong, but maybe you could rethink it a bit.

There is a huge amount of possibilities available for Bleach, but one way or another, Kubo always manages to make them the same.

Let's take, for example, the Aizen battle.. They're all on about how Aizen is strong and they can't handle him YADAYADA...

THEY DON'T EVEN GO BANKAI, let alone shikai.. It just feels like a classic example of "I'll power down so the hero can save me".

Ichigo as a character is a grand fluke, shallow, unimaginative and repetitive (Hi there, Getsuga Tenshou ,you were cool the first time I saw you!). His personality is.. I'll fight to protect my friends.. and that's it.. does he even have a personallity?

Next is the antagonists, the only one who seems to have put up a decent fight was Ulquierra..
Yammy the 0th Espada.. he appeared in 0th of a chapter aswell.
Stark... he released and.. got defeated..
Barragan.. it was quite nice if you look at the circumstances..
Tia... Aizen killed/wounded her... A great character (she was actually given some sense of feelings), killed/wounded by Aizen because she could only handle.. what.. 3 captain levels at once?

THE POWER LEVELS ARE MESSED UP... Zaraki had a bit of a problem with the 5th Espada... suddenly the 0th espada is WEAK?

You're fighting the strongest guy ever... JUST GO BANKAI! Seriously..

Why would we need a new thread? This old one is as good as it is. And yeah, the front page is a bit outdated, but that's why we have the Squad's page for unless for squads that don't have them, since the Captains are (mostly) active and would update it if a new member joins.

But still, that's a small matter. We don't really need a new Club. Even if we start a new one, chances are sooner or later, it'll get cluttered as well. That's just how it is.

Also, Golde has a life as well. Don't just think that all he needs to do in a day would be to cater to the club. Instead of whining how outdated the first page is, why don't we try to make changes? I know Zameric is often responsible of relaying new updates to Golde, and if he consents to do it this time, why don't we make his life easier? PM him all the changes that you want to be done to the first page (mainly new recruits to the squad and zanpakto pages), so that he can pass them on to Golde when he comes online. And don't just PM Zameric saying "Hey I joined Squad # and posted my zanpakto, can you tell Golde please?" but properly give links and the important details, and make them neat. As in

Well yeah, that's him. Since we have, like, 3 or 4 new members recently, they might want to choose a squad as well before getting listed as spirit and possibly getting stuck to that list for a long period of time. That way, you can compile all the things he'd need to update in one PM, rather than sending lots of them which he might miss.

Ah. I didn't know that. But somehow, I still think it's better to edit the original post so as not to bother Golde too much. Plus, we don't know how long it'll be before he actually comes online and edit the first page, so if anyone wants to have a look at the zanpakto page, it's better to head to the front page rather than PMing you/shuffling through pages of long-arse posts. Still, whatever floats his luggage I guess.

1) Kida - Ryookami - Multielement - It's my own, so obviously I prefer it over anyone elses.
2) Arceus03 - Tsukibana - Water - I'm partial to Water types, and Tsukibana is so pretty =3
3) Rotrum - Yuki Sendou - Ice - Also partial to Ice Types as well, and with the revamp long distance attacks would suit my fighting stratedgy
4) Cell - Siska - Kido - I love the shikai because Archery is awesome, and I always loved the idea of charging arrows before firing them with different spells, plus hummingbird, aww.
5) EonMaster - Tanryoku no Rei - Spirit - The only reason this isn't higher is because i'm not really one for close quarter combat, which the Shikai is kinda designed for
6) VizardBlue - Kagebu - Shadow/Kido - Manipulation of shadows and moving through the dark, totally my thing =D
7) Senbonzakura - Mugenyume - Kido - being able to change the state at which somethign exists would be very useful, turning a solid projectile into liquid to reduce damage

9) SapphireDragon - Shippu no Hana - Earth/Wind - Uses the same sort of Element ideas, and the fan reminds me of Temari

It was morning, I was dispatched to take down Espada number 4, Ulquiorra. When I found him we engaged in battle, but before I was able to unleash the full might of my bankai, he pierced me through the heart.

Here's the thing. You're going to use our Gotei 13, correct? But then Ulquiorra would not have been created, because Aizen does not exist. We can't imagine it like the Bleach anime/manga but with us, because we'd do different things. It doesn't work out.

He dropped me, turned and left me to rot in Hueco Mundo. I died that day, but what seemed like minutes later, I awoke to a strange light.

I hope you're planning on explaining that later.

They both released their bankai, and Ryaku agreed to come with them.

This is just stupid. Eon says "stop fighting!" Goes Bankai, and then they all stop and Ryaku "agrees to come with them" even though no one asked about it.

Yeahno. Most Captains are around the 480-510, I believe. There's no way you're getting anywhere close to that.
There's also no way Rotrum's letting you get 100 mobility, and there's no way I'm letting you get 100 intelligence. There are very few people I'll allow get 100, you're not one of them.

I was thinking, if something absolutely NEEDS to be added to the front page, why not put it in the second post, for until Golde has a chance to add it to the first one?

That's actually a good idea.
I can split my post into 2: the original post, and the club details. If I have enough space (as in, i won't run out of text), then I can copy and paste the club, and make changes, so when Golde comes, all he has to do is update his first post with whatever I have.
I have a 4 day weekend, and this I'll get my *** into gear and make it. I might even go through the club so I pick up all the smaller things, and those "I feel like doing this." list.

Umno. If you're talking straight flash step speed, Rotrum is the fastest, but once Shikai is activated I'm faster. There's no comparison in Bankai, as my speed is only limited by how much spirit energy I can focus into my nerve endings and I have a lot of freaking spirit energy.

...plus, there's no way you're faster than a Captain when you're only 5th seat. Unless that Captain is really freaking slow and you're like, Hermes or something >.>

And like ILP said, only a few of us can claim to have 100 intelligence. If you can read through his and my discussions on the physics of the Big Bang without your head exploding, I might consider it or we could ask Chaotic Tyrant to rank you, I'm sure he'll be fair xD

He shouldn't be that fast, at all. If he was, his other stats and abilities would have to downgraded to balance him out. Also moving at suck speeds would cause friction burn along with a mutliude of other things that would not be pretty.

Also that level of Speed is godmod territory, if Captains can't get away with using that level, what makes you think you can? Seriously, tell me why we should even entertain the idea of actually approving that.

Aside from the numerous spelling errors and condescending attitude to Captain/Co-Owner/Senior members here. You haven't show us any reason why he should be that high in intelligence. You haven't proved or showed us ANY reason why we should believe he is that smart, at all, just telling us he is 100 is not going to fly so long as I am active here.

(Destroyed Soul Society, outside of metal bunker)

“Bahamut…You’ll pay for all you’ve done!” The armored man screamed, punching the air twice more as he bombarded Aleph with balls of intense energy.

“Hehehe…” Aleph giggled, a crooked smile upon his face as the energy balls approached him at high speeds. With inhuman reflexes, he dodged them without getting hit once. His body bent backwards such that his head hit the ground as he went underneath the beginning of the onslaught, and he jumped high into the air to get himself into safety. “You can’t defeat me” Water began rushing around him, coating his body in water. Every movement was mimicked by his water armor-practically causing him to become larger.

“Soulgain, Unlock limiters. Code: EG-X.” The man’s armor suddenly grew around him-until a suit of armor about 1.5 times the size of Aleph’s water armor had formed. The armor was clearly very strong and now a helmet lie where his head usually was. His speed was insane, at the limits of the human body. The two grappled with each other, a reiatsu-enchanced surface tension causing the water and armor to strike each other as if the water was solid.

“Seiryurin!” He put his hands back, the armor around him following the movement, as energy gathered in his armor’s hands. The energy glowed a bright blue before he thrusted forwards, energy coming out in the form of an energy beam (Think Turtle Wave.) Aleph easily jumped to the side as the beam didn’t even skid the water.

“Genbu Goudan!” This time his blades began spinning around his arm again at high speeds, He punched forwards but now the energy was behind the fist rather than jetting out in front of. He fired the gauntlet of his armor off using the gathered energy as propulsion. The water-covered Aleph barrel-rolled to the side as the fist skidded across his water-armor-which quickly regained the small loss of form.

They moved at a speed far past the normal capabilities of the human body, while Aleph was moving with ease; the other man clearly was past his limit as he fought. His body was taking damage in itself, yet he never gave up. “Die, Bahamut. Mai Suzaku!” He shouted as he punched forward, his arm-blade spinning rapidly as energy pierced through the water. With insane power, he punched straight through Aleph-rushing past the water-covered foe anime-style. He panted and smiled at his victory. Aleph cackled madly as his wound regenerated itself. It was horrid. His Zanpakutou could not possibly have healed such a serious wound so quickly. Yet Aleph was standing already with no wound.

Then, his body began to morph, muscles becoming defined, limbs stretching beyond their normal length, his face remained cackling with insanity as his body changed into a monstrous being. Parts of his skin were discoloured, his entire body became a work of fiction along the lines of Frankenstein and other monsters. But the worst was his facial expression. As his face slowly became beyond recognizable, he was cackling with insanity, his eyes full of bloodlust.

Somewhere in this, the other figure thought he heard Aleph’s voice somehow

“So long…Good…Bye.”

(Beginning of meeting about Chii)

The captains gathered in the Meeting Hall, an emergency meeting having to do with Kida’s return, was all Hell Butterflies told them. But the Meeting was a class A, so everyone arrived uniformly on time.

“Now at this point we all know that Kida has returned from her leave following the war with Magnus and his other allies?” Everyone nodded in agreement to Golde’s opening. “Now, everyone remembers the actual war, the final battle with the enemy, Codename Operation Artingent (Made-up words are fun.)” This time almost everyone hesitated before agreeing.

(Operation Artingent Briefing)

“Operation Artingent will be carried out in Three Phases. Phase one will be lead by Rotrum and Furash (As Jin said, Just Flash with a heavy Japanese accent), who will rush Magnus’ base from each side with an eighth of the shinigami forces on each side. After the initial assault they’ll retreat and surround the base long enough to drive out the enemy forces. At this point Phase Two begins, lead by Jordan and myself. We will first be hiding some distance from the base from all directions in several groups. These groups will make up another quarter of our forces altogether and will provide an aerial assault. Another quarter of our troops will participate in Phase Three. Lead by Aleph, the troops will provide support to the ongoing battles and attempt to break through the structure. After that is all improvisation based on how the battle is going.” Ryuu explained the plan he had laid out, which was followed by an animation of the base getting attacked, surrounded, attacked aerially, and invaded. Little avatars represented each captain as well as Magnus and his known allies.

(Partway through meeting about Chii)

“Good. You all recall what happened as we first began to gain the advantage?”

“Lilith appeared” someone called out from the lined up captains.

“Yes, the battle quickly turned into their favor against her onslaught of kidou and raw energy-no one could touch her due to her powerful barrier, the same barrier we had found to be nearly unbreakable when we attempted to penetrate the base. Around that time Luppi, Gibull, and Jin appeared, and soon after the tide of battle changed. After destroying her barrier the resulting explosion took out the entire enemy base and good portion of our forces, but we had finally claimed victory.”

“…So why are you bringing it up?” A questioning voice came from the audience of captains and test teams.

“Lilith, no, Chii was Kida’s sister.”

And then, for a while, utter silence.

(Present-Time)

Ryuu heard the signal. It was time.

“Just one, Golde-Soutaichou…” said Twelfth Captain Ryuu Schiffer. The other captains looked at him in a mixture of confusion and apprehension about what he could possibly say. Suddenly he was in Bankai before anyone could blink, and his reiatsu pressure came crashing through the room. The entire Meeting Hall exploded outwards as the Captains found themselves frozen in time. “Your decision will be invalidated.”

“A coup!?” questioned Jordan angrily, unable to move most of his body at a significant speed. “Weren’t you our friend!?”

“Never. I was sent here as a scout. Now stop trying to over power my time paralysis or I will self-destruct, taking all of you as well as the entire center of the Sereitei out.” Ryuu said uniformly, his entire body straightened until he may as well have been a talking statue.

Three figures in Captain’s Haoris suddenly descended on the paralyzed shinigami. An imposing man with long green hair, followed by a beautiful woman with long pink hair and another woman with long emerald-colored hair, stood in the middle of the Captain’s Hall. Ryuu nodded to them and shunpo’d until he was using Golde as a wall to lean back against.

“Shinigami. My name is Mauser Vindel, leader of the Shadow-Mirrors. We seek to create the perfect world” The Green-haired man, apparently named Vindel, said solemnly, looking at Golde’s undisturbed eyes with an equally emotionless visage.

“Everyone has a different opinion of what the perfect world is” Noted Kusari skeptically.

“My perfect world…Is a world of constant turmoil, where conflict is a part of daily life. That is the only way to kept the world from growing stagnant, to spur progress.” Vindel answered calmly, entertaining the bound captains.

Horror was strewn across the Captain’s faces, the only part of them that could move-apparently. “That’s insane, a world of constant struggle!?” Aleph cried out, angered by the thought due to his peaceful nature.

“How is it progress, you’ll destroy the world!” Jordan lashed out, bitter from his lack of mobility.

“To those who like to fight, like you and I, that might just be an ideal world, but to those who don’t, it’s HELL!” Cameron said, a bit of anger in his voice.

“I.L.P. add gravity binds to these arguing fools.” Vindel commanded, and soon the captains were weighed to the ground-unable to move at all.

“Ugh…I.L.P., is that what they call you!?” Cameron yelled with a burning passion.

“…Why Ryuu...” Muttered Chii, who was simply against the ground-staring at the situation with tears in her eyes.

“Destruction renews the world and keeps it from growing stagnant. The strong survive and live on to eliminate the weak. From the destruction is new birth. Look at how quickly the EWX team progressed-to a level that years decades to reach normally-in such a short time because there was a threat. Destruction spurs growth that Humanity need to survive.” Vindel responded, justifying his viewpoint while maintaining a steady composure.

“…That is true. Turmoil and chaos create destruction, and from Destruction comes new technologies and innovations that were spurred by threat of annihilation. But…” Rotrum admitted.

“Yes…But the losses that come from a war far outweigh any benefits that could possibly come out of it.” Golde finally chipped into the argument.

Ryuu looked stunned at their arguments, he wasn’t programmed to think, he needed to complete the mission and that was all. And yet, these people he knew for so long, these people he’d befriended…Even in the Human World, If this was to happen…He shook his head.

“Yes…The losses of a war will always outweigh any benefits presented.” Ryuu looked up as the captains suddenly found themselves able to move again. He shunpo’d behind Vindel rapidly, “We…never should have come to this world” He said, teary-eyed, as he grabbed Vindel and began to fly upwards with his bankai’s wings.

“What are you doing!?” Shrieked Cameron and the Pink-haired woman at the same time.

Their question was quickly answered as Vindel struggled against Ryuu, heavily damaging the cyborg. But Ryuu was adamant as they flew skyward-until they were barely even a dot in the sky.

“Initiate Code: ATA. Ash To Ash.”

The explosion filled the air, easily smashing through the barrier around the Sereitei, despite having been so far away from the ground. The entire sky became dark with the smoke and fire rained from the sky-some of it putting itself out in the trip. A single body fell to the ground.


 

Lucario, you can't join a place, and instantly tell everyone what to dom ow to do it, and assert yourself into a position of superiority. You come in, Vy for a captain's spot, order some people around, downright disrespect some people, and even suggest we make a new club and abandon Golde. YOu even buff your stats up pretty high and give yourself insane speed and intelligence. I rule in speed, and Eon only surpasses me because he is basically distilled essense of Glass Cannon on Wheels with essense of roadrunner and a dash of overreactive nerves

Besides, Wings aren't important since shinigami can walk on Air. Technically, I could use both my mind and my body to move. I'm already fast, but I could just create ice to push me in sync with my movements..
