Fear.
Pure fear filled the young boy’s heart and mind as he watched his teams get brutally killed by hollows. Their blood was being mixed in with rain and wet soil on the ground, storm clouds blocking the sun and lightning dancing in the sky. A tree was struck by lightning, being set a blaze to illuminate the massacre in front of him.
His blonde hair soaked with rain and blood and his brown eyes wide with terror of his situation. The hollows in the forest were overwhelming and easily ate the other academy students and their instructor. Five of the fiends slowly moved toward him to devour the last of the fool hardy class that dared to enter their domain.
Move.
His body refused to listen to him, the wet soil enhancing the sound of the hollows approach. He berated his body’s inability to move and cursed at predicament. His body trembling, either from the cold wetness of the rain and mud or from fear, it didn’t matter. He screamed at his body to move, to fight, to avenge his fallen classmates, to kill those murderous hollows, and to save him from such a horrible fate.
FIGHT!
It could have been adrenaline from the battle, hatred from the murder, rage from being attack, sadness from losing so many friends, or desperation to survive, but whatever it was it gave him to strength to take his sword a slice the first hollow he saw in half. The next swiftly across the mask, the third lost its legs before being stabbed in the head.
The boy’s movements were a dance, full of rage, anger, sadness, angst, despair and desperation. Every kill drove him deeper into his bloodlust, his brown eyes reflecting pure and utter carnage.
Death.
More hollows came to slaughter; eventually the boy’s body reached its limits, trembling after killing its twenty hollow killing spree. Ten more hollows came and surrounded him, each ready to eat the person that nearly wiped them all out. The boy was drenched in mud and blood and didn’t even have the strength to scream. His body too drained from battle to do anything other than lay stranded on the forest’s damp ground.
Hope.
“I came because I saw the fire, but it seems I have some things to take care of first.”
That was then the boy herd before three hollows were burned alive right in front of him, the next three were sliced in half and the final four were all blasted to bits by a giant fireball.
The rain connected with the fire, making steam rise and cover the burnt ground and hollow remains. From the flames came a guy walking with claymore in his right hand and canon on his left arm. He was wearing some long coat with a mark on it, possibly nobility or maybe something else. The boy struggled to stay awake but sadly his body betrayed him and he slowly blacked out, the last thing he saw was a hand from the guy reaching out to him.

Rotrum, the flash freeze death child, walked up to see a squad 2 shinigami waiting for him on top a tree. It was cloudy and the ground was still wet, so he wondered how the ninja shinigami managed to avoid getting wet at all.
“Your late, little brother…” the ninja said with a tone of indifference.
“I had a client earlier, the mission took a bit longer than I expected.” Rotrum explained.
The two seemed so different; you would be forgiven if you didn’t believe they were brothers.
The older brother, Jin, was dressed in the ninja styled uniform of squad 2, while the younger brother, Rotrum, was dressed a regular Rukongai civilian.
Jin gave off an aura of calm, calculating and collected peace. Rotrum gave off an aura of rage, impatience and energetic fury. The two balanced each other’s presence one could say.
“So have you decided if you are going to become a shinigami yet?” Jin asked looking at the clouds.
“I’ll become one when you tell me who killed our father!” Rotrum screamed at Jin, rage in his eyes.
“You do know revenge won’t bring him back to us, so it’s pointless to let yourself be consumed with vengeance.” Jin said coldly, glancing at his little brother.
“Who are you to tell me what is pointless!? Why should you get to decide if I should seek revenge or not!? Whoever killed our father deserves to die along with everything they cherish!” Rotrum justified himself hand on his sword and fiery eyes glaring coldly at his brother.
“Calm down, killing me will just keep you from your vengeance, speaking of, since mother died giving birth to you, I should kill you then following your logic.” Jin countered while locking his eyes with Rotrum.
Rotrum eyes watered as he face began to twist in pain, trying to hold the tears back, he refused to shed tears for anyone, especially in front of his older brother. Rotrum held his head down and asked his brother a simple question.
“Is this your form of revenge? Is this to punish me for being born? To torture me with this knowledge until I do what you want!?
I DIDN’T ASK TO BE BORN! TO HAVE MY PARENTS DIE ON ME! I DIDN’T WANT ANY OF THIS!” Rotrum cried as he ran away from his brother, the symbol of his past and his pain.
Jin watched as his brother ran away and cursed himself for being so harsh. He hated seeing his little brother like this, but he was convinced in what he was doing was protecting his brother. He knew Rotrum would die trying to get revenge, and telling him one of the most influences in the Soul Society was involved with their father’s death was not love, it was a death sentence.

District 66, violence was its main flaw, as fighting was a common as a hello there, some may even go so far as to say that was the hello there. Two men came from the hollow forest covered in mud and blood and went into a house near the forest.
The storm had cleared and the sun was shining on the mud puddles. The taller one of them treated the many wounds of the other and took his soiled and torn academy student uniform and gave him a dry robe.
“Who are you and where am I?” The blonde boy asked looking around his surroundings.
“I’m just a person traveling; I saw you were injured so I treated you.” The dark haired guy told him.
“Why would you help a stranger?”
“It’s the right thing to do, also your uniform was soaking wet, so I cleaned it for you.” The guy said handing him the uniform, wrinkled but clean.
“Thank you, may I ask your name?”
“Sure, I’m Jordan Inferno, but I’m told it’s polite to introduce yourself before asking.”
“I’m Testu Shinku, but my friends call me Muffin.”
“Nickname basis already, huh? Then call me MC.”
The two traded pleasantries and ate afterward, slowly getting to know each other while enjoying each other’s company.
Sadly, this peaceful dinner couldn’t last as a huge outlet of spiritual pressure wash over the entire district, killing anyone who wasn’t strong enough to withstand the power, meaning only the two were left. They both grabbed their swords and rushed out to see what could have such a destructive presence.
“You know as well I do that your wounds will get in the way of combat, can you use Kido?” MC asked while running toward the power source.
“It’s my specialty!” Muffin said following MC, slightly wincing from his wounds.
The two arrived to a chilling scene before them, a creature that looked a cross between a Wolf and a man was wildly destroying thing with its claws while screaming in agonizing pain. It had a tail that swiped and failed around, leaving indents in the ground.
“What…the Hell is that!” Muffin asked as he watched the creature in fear.
“I don’t know…but whatever it is, we have to stop it from destroying everything and hurting itself.” MC said releasing his zanpaktou without saying a word.
“I’ll back you up with my kido, be careful, don’t think even a seated officer could handle that thing.”
MC shunpoed at the beast and quickly blocked a swipe of its claw, but nearly got beheaded by its tail. He quickly shot a fire ball at it, causing it to scream in more pain and try to literally bite his head off. MC managed to block his teeth with his sword but sadly left his torso open to a slap from his tail, sending him flying through two buildings.
“Hado # 54! Haien!” Muffin yelled as a purple blast of energy hit the beast and melted part of his fur.
The beast roared as it charged at Muffin, ready to tear his entrails out, but it was promptly hit with hundreds of tiny fireballs, and then hog tied with kido.
“Is it over?” Muffin asked looking at the beast.
It let out a roar that broke the kido and sent the two soaring into the sky.
“Forgive me but I have no choice left!
Iten Sakusei Su-pa Inferuno Bakufuu!” MC called out as a blazing inferno engulfed him and the beast.
“JORDAN!” Muffin cried out.
