Arc-you're evil now, start baking cookies so we can all have hilarious shirts to wear.
Thanks. Though I didn't mean it like that, but it will hilarious in your fanfic if it becomes the uniform of all the evil shinigami or whatever it is you're up to

I had expected a longer battle, and Ichigo's final mode lasting A LOT longer than 1 attack. And no sealing.. that's just making a possibility for Aizen to return... reminds me too much of Dragonball Z where Cell [Hating on the namesharing, to be honest. -.-] and Frieza escaped from hell.
And now Ichigo's hollow is trying to take ichigo's body for himself [in my opinion].
Will Ichigo go from main character to strongest villain? :O
Spoiler:- manga 422:
I'm just annoyed, when I finished the manga before this one, I thought that right before Aizen was completely sealed, he'd break free and badly wound Ichigo and Urahara. At least it'd be better than the boring version Kubo made up.
If Ichigo becomes a villian than Kubo will have redeemed himself for Aizen's boring end.

The whole chapter left me gapping, I thought that Kubo would make a more interesting end of his godmod mega villian. And how Aizen wanted someone to be stronger than him makes no sense whatsoever.
Favorite Filler Characters?
Nova and Enryuu
Least favorite Filler Characters?
Jin Kariya and Koga Kuchiki I guess, godmod villians always bore me
Which Character would you sell coookies with?
I guess Nanoa because she would calculate which cookies would be most popular and would give her death glare to anyone who wouldn't buy them.
on one hand, it showed aizen was receiving a long sentence... Good.
But it does mean he's still alive... Bad!!
But then we see that, although in critical condition, momo-chan is still alive!!! And there's a hint of both a hitsuhina moment and a ginran moment!!!
But then... It's shown that ichigo really is losing his powers... That's horrible!!! Ahhhhhhhhh what the heck!!! I mean i kinda saw that coming, but it's sooooooooo sad... Wahhhhhhhh!!! And he can't see rukia, renji, shiro, or any other shinigami again!?!?!?!?!?
Ughhh and to top it off, the series is on a two week hiatus??? Nooooooooo!!!!! I mean, now i'll be so damn anxious at nyaf... Wahhh!!!
But still... There's the part about shiro-chan which is really really really awesome...
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i'm sooooo conflicted!!!!!!!!!!! Ughhh!!!!
Grahhhhhhhh............
ps sorry for the caps and rant-like post... But this chapter... Ughhh it drove me crazy, in both good and bad ways!!! Ahhhhhhh!!
Okay, why did they say that Aizen is immortal? Can't they Sokyoku him or whatever? o.o
I never knew the Central 46 to be so emotional, they get provoked so easily. On that note, though, amidst all the war going on, it was quick of them to find the replacement for all 46 members of the central.
Shunsui's face on page 5 is WIN. And I REALLY lol'd when Yamamoto gets angry over some lost haori, right after the war. XDD AND Byakuya's reaction. And Yamamoto's face. omg.
He lost his left arm? Ooooooh.
....wait. Another ARM. 8D
And mhm, Hinamori didn't die. Well, that should be the cause for a hyper person to be even more hyper... *eyes minchan*
Gin died.....? That's what being implied, I think. Mhm... NL would be sad.. Speaking of NL, where is she? Though yeah, had he been alive, the stupid Central 46 might have something to pass on him....
And now Kubo's pulling off from his *** explaining why Ichigo's hair gets shorter.. Which seems pretty irrelevant But could Orihime restore Ichigo back to his state before he used the FGT? Orihime's power is the rejection of events, isn't it?
...Wait. BEFORE Ichigo obtains his powers, he COULD see shinigami, right? So why not he couldn't?
HIATUS NOOOOO D: Well that should be able to keep me from surfing the net... Meaning the club will most probably be cold. Yaoi time Fanfic authors, here's your chance. :P

I think this was a pretty good chapter to end on before his hiatus thing.
I'm quite satisfied with Aizen's fate in the end.
I wonder why Kubo never hinted that the Central 46 was rebuilt.
Maybe it was rebuilt in the 10 day time skip though.
Yamamoto is alive, and the comment Ukitake made indicated that Kubo never intended to off the old man.
"Soul Society still has yet to find a suitable person to replace him" (paraphrased)
I enjoyed the old man getting mad at the three for losing their haori. xD
I wonder what Mayuri is doing...
Momo is alive but still recovering, and Hitsugaya is trying to become stronger.
Poor Rangiku, but I think she'll be able to move on because she's strong.
I didn't think about Ichigo losing his ability to sense any spiritual beings. :/
I guess Kubo really is making it so that Ichigo will return to a normal life.
But it is kind of sad that he won't be able to see his SS friends anymore. :/
Please check out my 4th & 5th gen trade thread posts.
So prison has different "layers"? I guess that's a good thing, to let some people be punished more harshly than others.
But 18, 800 years? That's not very much. In fact, I was expecting a death sentence.
Immortal? What? Didn't the Hougyoku stop working on it? Surely if the Hougyoku gave him powers, but decided not to lend him more, it would take its powers back.
Also, one thing I didn't like was how emotional the Central 46 guy got. I mean, the central 46 act like the government of sorts, in a way, right? So they should not be people who are so easily overtaken by emotion. They are supposed to be fair, but just, and yet they are so simple to anger?
Ah, so Yamamoto survived? That's both good, and bad, I guess... I find it funny that he's shouting at them for losing their haori. In fact, it's a little bit like a grandad/dad telling his (grand)children off for losing their winter coats, or something.
When he said "just what do you think those captain haoris are?" I thought he was going to say that they had some actual effect on their powers, or something.
I love the look on Ukitake's face, when Shunsui, Kenpachi and Byakuya are getting yelled at XD
"Soul Society still has yet to see a man capable of replacing him," I think I had a few ideas on what this could lead to, but then I forgot.
I wonder if Mayuri is researching Szayel's things, and those two bodies in the lab...
Urgh, Hinamori's alive?
"You disappeared," I don't see why people are immediately jumping to "he died". This could, literally, mean "he left without saying anything to me". Imo, this suits Gin more, concerning what we know of his character, what we know he has done before (Rangiku mentions "I've always hated that about you," which implies it's been done before, too) as well as the fact that it allows Aizen more abilities to come back in Bleach Z: he's still alive, and his temporary right hand man (because, really, Gin is the kind of character that Kubo could use as a double, or is it triple, agent).
Well, that explains how he's losing his powers. A few things to question, are, of course:
- How does Urahara know this?
- Why would it reverse the precipe world's effects? It's not directly related to the FGT. It doesn't make much sense.
"I can't sense any spiritual pressures" this doesn't make sense. He had this power before he became a Shinigami, why would he lose that?
I also really liked the final interaction between Ichigo and Rukia. It wasn't particularly shippy (which doesn't really work for me, unless I support the ship or it's done really well), and it flowed well. I can see it being animated really well in the anime.
2 WEEK HIATUS GODAMNIT
Oh, mangastream tweeted "Bleachtards do not fret, Kubo himself said two more arcs (one 6-8month, one 2-3years) are still to come." I'm glad for this. The 6-8 month arc will likely be a flashback arc, perhaps a TBtP II. The second arc, probably a whole new thing.

She won't do anything, even if she could.
Anyway, I don't even believe that's what her powers actually are, anymore.

I don't think that it was implied that Gin died. Matsumoto said he left again - I think he just left when he had finished healing, Matsumoto knows he's alive, that's why she's sad, but can be happy at the same time, because he is out there somewhere.
Also it would make sense for him to just leave, he got revenge on Aizen for whatever he did to Rangiku, but he wouldn't be accepted bck for all the things he had to do to get there.
The Haori Incidident, Yama made such a deal of it the event needs capitilsation, was funny as hell. I agree though, Shunsui's face was adorable "stylish?" not to mention Ukitake outside with his happeh face.
Ichigo actually losing all of his powers was probably the best ending Kubo could have designed for this saga. All slight misgivings forgotten Kubo, however i have one final thing to say...
GIN WASN'T EVIL!!! I TOLD YA' SO!!! MWUAHAHA

No. It's much worse to make him suffer for 20,00 years with no sight and no movement, drive him into the far reaches of insanity and torture, then to simply kill him and recycle his soul.
"I can't sense any spiritual pressures" this doesn't make sense. He had this power before he became a Shinigami, why would he lose that?
I think it was more of a mass reverse reaction - those powers were like backup reserves, but the final technique took EVERYTHING, it went into negative figures, so to keep him alive he needed to use the backup reserve powers, if you will, to maintain existance. His original powers are being erased as his body slowly becomes accostumed to the norm.

Spoiler:
I disagree, I think it would be better to kill him; they know how powerful he is now (even referencing his immortality), so they should be aware that he can probably get out. Look at all the things he's done: he's duped everyone in Soul Society, he's created an army to defeat (but not actually kill) the Soul Society, he ascended to the level of a God, and was inches from getting to the Soul King. I have no doubt that Aizen will spend the next, oh, 2 decades plotting his escape and then actually doing so.
And it's a lot safer for everyone else. While he hasn't actually killed anyone, he very easily has the power to do so. If Aizen actually DOES escape, regardless of how small the chance may be, he has the power to crush almost everyone in his fingers.

Spoiler:
Again, I'll have to disagree. We'll have to treat spiritual abilities as a "physical" thing (while it's not something that you can touch and feel, it's something that actually exists), and any "physical thing" cannot have negative numbers apply to it. I won't bother explaining what I mean with an example of "taking 5 apples when you have 3" because you obviously know that already. I feel it applies here too. The repercussions would not take away more powers than he "should have" otherwise, as you say, his power would go into the negatives, which would be impossible. And assuming that it happened to Isshin as well, it wouldn't be right to assume that Isshin, too, had a "reserve".
Woo, a debate!

What the hell. Ichigo just wakes up normally. What the hell was with all that screaming?
Old man Yama needs anger management classes xD
Oh yeah, to ILP, about the Central 46 being so angry. Basically, Kubo's making a commentary on how since power corrupts, all those in a position of power are corrupted and easily swayed. He's also commenting on the fact that they're still living beings (I would say humans, but they're technically not), and thus they're prone to human emotions.

The screaming was a part of the FGT taking Ichigo's powers. Then the sleeping, and the reversing of the Precipe World's effects.
I really liked that explanation on the Central 46, actually. I wouldn't be very surprised if Kubo actually intended for that. Definitely a nice way to show that Though I personally prefer them to be cold and calculating 8)

Too lazy to read each and every comment on the manga... ^^;; But I want to let ya'll know that tomorrow, saturday, and sunday, i'm gonna be at the NYAF. and saturday is the bleach photoshoot I'm organizing... I'll try to upload some nice pix of the group. ^^
When Yama assked what the what the haori's were, i liked kenpachi's answer the best "A pain in the ***."
When Yama yelled, the only voice i could think of yelling like that was Dan Green.
Now to serious matters:
On the subject of Ichigo losing his powers. May i call back to a chapter long ago, i don't know the exact number and i don't feel like looking for it, when Isshin killed the new-and-improved Grand Fisher. After commiting the afformentioned act Kisuke came and asked Isshin how it felt to have his powers back after 20 years. Assuming that he also learned FGT with Engetsu, Ichi may just have a chance to slowly recover his powers.
ILP: this is Bleach were reading here. there will be plotholes galore now that the end is nigh.
Arc: you're right. this is fanfic writer's chance. and on that note...
NEWS: this week there will for sure be a chapter, i swear on my mother's eyes (heh heh, James Patterson shout out). and in return for making you guys wait two weeks i will be giving a reward for your patience.
also, this hiatus works perfect. the two weeks there are not Bleach chapter ther will be a fanfic chapter. this weekend, October 9-10, will be chapter 15. next weekend, October 16-17, will be chapter 16. the weekend of October 23-24 will be a hiatus for me. then on October 30-31 will be the beginning of the next arc.

One mischievous little woodpecker
Another day, pecking your holes
Ruining the woods, tree wrecker
The angry old forest god turned your poor beak into a poison knife
Poor little wood pecker, your nesting holes are all tainted
Your food with toxins rife
Touch your friends, and they all will die falling at your feet
Oh, sad little woodpecker
Poisonous tears, shining brightly, as they stream down your cheeks
Anyway hello everyone...its good to be back...the field wasnt that bad, and they let us come back on the weekends for bout 8 hours and take showers wash clothes and sleep in our own beds..cool huh?

I haven't posted here in a looooong time...
Then again, I usually only post about the manga, and considering how much happens in each chapter, I'd say my inactivity...might be justified...I think.
Anyway, thoughts on latest chapter:
Spoiler:- Manga:
...Why was Rukia sentenced to death again? Was it more serious than everything Aizen had done? Even if you say that Aizen is immortal, surely putting him in jail for all eternity would be a better choice wouldn't it? Instead of just 20,000 years (Which probably aren't even much by Soul Society's standards...Hitsugaya is more than 100 years old yet his body is still effectively 10).
...Oh, and the captains are being scolded over clothes. I hope that haori is something more than just a status symbol, cause this just seems ridiculous, even if it was mostly done as a gag.
Two weeks break for research...I'd like to see where Kubo takes this story now...
Check here for my Gijinka Project. (Alright, so I'm not good with advertising, is that such a big problem?)
Check here for my comic series, Fettuccine and Friends. (Well, at least I'm trying to advertise.)

Speak of the devil Oh, yeah. You're right, I didn't see it that way.

Still, they should be impassive and NOT affected by feelings. Byakuya is even more stoic than they are. He doesn't rise to mocks easily.

That's a nice theory. I never thought of that. Spoiler:
Maybe Urahara found a device that allows you to recover your lost shinigami powers. And yes, it fits because else, how would Isshin know about the FGT, no?
Then again, it brings to mind how does Isshin and Ichigo obtain the same power (Getsuga Tensho)

Excuses XP
Spoiler:
In Rukia's case, it was Aizen who gave out all the orders behind the name of the Central 46, and then again, her being sentenced to death was because Aizen wanted to extract the Hogyoku. But yes, your second point is valid. What would they do after 20,000 years? Set him free again?
...I'm still disturbed by the last goodbye scene. Why couldn't Ichigo see Rukia, when he could do so perfectly before, even without his shinigami power?
