I really liked this chapter. It showed a return to normal life.

The scene with Yuzu and her new look was funny.
Anyone else notice the Strawberry hair tie?
Although, I'm afraid some fans will pervert it into something else. :/

Now Karin is the one who can see spirits.
I like her new look, yet she hasn't changed much. xD

Both Isshin and Keigo haven't changed a damn bit, in their personalities. XD

Mizuiro kind of looks like Yumichika.
Wow, there's someone we haven't seen in forever, and probably never will again.

I don't think Tatsuki looks as good with a mullet. >.<

Sounds like Uryu is generally the same.
I lawled that Ichigo still gets Afro's name wrong.

It's kind of poetically tragic that Rukia hasn't come back once, but I guess I can't blame her. :/

Another Ichigo and Keigo deep talk moment. I kind of missed those.

"I've become what I've always dreamed of." That was an oh wow moment.
If anyone can come up with a better word/phrase for what I'm trying to express, please tell me. ;p

I love it how Ichigo kept his battle experience and bodily strength.

I'm really looking forward to this Lost Shinigami Representative Badge arc.

The only thing I didn't like about this chapter is the absence of Chad and/or Orihime.

"I told Inoue, Chad, and the others about my Shinigami powers" assuming he meant the losing of his powers, didn't they know about it before? And if its about his powers in general, that should be more specific to Tatsuki, Mizuiro, Keigo and maybe Chizuru.
I think he "told" all his friends about his his powers and how he lost them.

Now with the Shinigami focus on Karin... I have a feeling Urahara may get involved again. Speaking of which, what happened with him? Is he still in his shop? What about him and the Vaizards, or Soul Society? Is he still looking over Ichigo (which I would be surprised if he wasn't) and why isn't he helping him? Surely a man like Urahara is brilliant enough to let him see Spirits again.
I don't know about that, but it would be something to look forward too.

I wonder why Rukia hasn't helped with the Hollows. It was her post before she got replaced with Afro-San, so logically she would get it back (unless she declined). And knowing that Ishida is both a school student and a Quincy (and that Afro-San is useless) the best thing to do would be for her to go back.
One, she's probably not allowed to go back. Two, she may not be ready to go back yet. Three, SS knows that Afro, Ishida/Chad/Orihime, and Urahara and his gang are there.

17 months? Which means the whole thing from him meeting Rukia to him losing his powers was less than a year.

In the theft scene, who's calling out "Mizuiro"? Looking at some of the later panels, it seems like it might be Ichigo, but he wouldn't be shouting and he doesn't look like he's saying anything in that panel.

Overall, an interesting start to the season "hey, look! our main character ISN'T special anymore!" But I still would have liked to know more of what happened to Urahara/some of the surviving Arrancar/blah.

I think that was probably a mistranslation. From the font, and the speech bubble, it looked as if it was a part of the man's shout. If either Ichigo or Keigo had been shouting, it doesn't seem like it from that panel. If that man himself is shouting, how would he know Mizuiro's name? Except that he already does (like he knows Ichigo's name) but he slipped up, which is very unlikely. So, my hunch was a mistranslation and he probably shouted 'Thief' or something similar.

Yeah, Movie 4. I think it was the big 3 on the side that threw me off.

At the very beginning he is 15 years old. Now he's 17, so the story began 2 years ago. More than a year ago, the whole Aizen fiasco ended, so the beginning to before the timeskip took less than a year (assuming that it was 2 years, and not 2 years 11 months or something).



I went back to reread the manga, and it turns out they made some changes.

"I told Inoue, Chad, and the others about my Shinigami powers"
became
"Apparently, Chad and Inoue told the others about my shinigami powers while I was asleep."
This makes more sense. Plus it suits the next page more, where he sees Mizuiro.

Though they still didn't "fix" the Mizuiro bit.

And I think it's now "The Lost Representative Shinigami Arc" as oppposed to being about the badge. Or was it never about the badge?

First 4 minutes of what happened previously, 2 getsuga's, Aizen using his focus band and then FLASHBACKS (WITH FILLERS IN THEM [Aizen looking at a TV with Gin, watching Ichigo's battle with Byakuya]).


Ewwwww... Hated this episode, just too many flashbacks.. They showed like everything which happens from the start of Bleach to the start of the Hueco Mundo arc.

Overall, I kind of liked the chapter. It really focuses on a more real-life situation. Having a part-time job, school gangs, etc. It's nice.

The first three silhouettes are obviously Renji, Byakuya and Rukia. He obviously misses them, and his subconsious may be trying to say that he's gaining his powers back slowly? Silhouettes/outlines would be the next time in seeing something, I guess. Maybe I'm just looking too deeply.

"I'm gonna wake you up with my fist!!" So kinky

Ah, yes, good ol' Isshin. And again, not used to Ichigo talking about Soul Society so freely.

"A day without melodies" back to his usual chapter titles, I see. I kind of like them, they're nice in a poetic way.

I find it very funny the way he's having people offer HIM a job, instead of him asking for one.

Oh, have we seen Chad yet?

Ichigo has such... Thin legs. That's all I can say.

And, of course, Orihime. Yeah. One thing I've noticed is that her hair pins aren't in her hair. Odd...

Boy, Ichigo and co. never have a dull day, do they?

Page 23 is mainly just... nonsense, I think.

For a weird reason, I thought that maybe Ichigo's boss was Urahara? Referring to a shop, and the way his mood changed halfway was not unlike something I can imagine Urahara doing.

Ishida looks... weird. I think he needs a haircut. He looks very girly.

The full body shot actually reminds me of Szayel. His body shape is thin, like Szayel's, and his hair and glasses aren't TOO different, I think.

I think the shadow might be the mysterious Substitute Shinigami from the previous chapter. Don't ask me why, though.

Interesting chapter, I quite liked it. A nice change of pace from the usual Bleach stuff.

Is it just me, or did Orihime's hair grow even longer? Why is everyone getting long hair? Ichigo, Tatsuki, Mizuro, and now Orihime... although Keigo's hair looks shorter.

Uryuu's haircut makes him look like Nanao. I'm not even kidding there. He needs to change it back. Although, it looks like he can kick some *** even without his powers, which is nice.

The scene at the beginning was cool, with the silhouettes and whatnot. Nostalgia is a good thing, and emotion is the key to unlocking hidden potential.

I'm thinking we'll be seeing Bya, Rukia, and Renji sooner than we think self-contradicting statement what. Hell, Ichigo always has been one to preform at his best when the chips are down. It'll just take a push of some kind.

I doubt Kubo would forget an accessory that has been sticking on one of the main character's head ever since the start of the story. My hunch is that because Orihime's power originates from Ichigo's, ever since Ichigo lost his powers, Orihime's powers too have been affected in some way, thus the lack of hair pins...? Just maybe.

...Though, that still doesn't explain why Orihime would dismiss the only thing that reminds her of her brother, yeah.

Mohawk Chad would look so wrong. XD You'd be able to see his eyes clearly.
