Okay, so the attacker has a similar power to Orihime, Chad and Ishida. We know Ishida is a Quincy because of his genes, and that he uses his powers based on his Quincy Cross. Orihime's powers are unique to her (as far as we know), come from the Hougyoku (though initially thought to have been from Ichigo's spilling reiatsu) and come in the form of her hairclips (which are where?). Chad's are unique (to him, as far as we know) but they are similar to a Hollow's, and were caused by the Hougyoku (thought originally thought to have been from Ichigo's spilling reiatsu) and are based on his background and his respect for his granddad.

No, I think what he meant is that Uryu's attacker could be a human with spiritual powers like Chad and Orihime.
Which could then extend to explain Kugo's group. All just speculation for now.
And I don't think that was a Quincy cross on Kugo's neck, on the cover page in the last chapter. Might have just been a cross necklace he wears.

Gin's bankai woohoo. I LOVE that scene. I find that the way they say bankai in a calm voice (like Gin) is cooler than shouting (like Soi Fon).

We saw Unohana in ep.298 8D And movie related scene in 299.

Kido 8D Though, I kind of expected Senjyu Koten Taiho to be bright yellow in color, but it was red instead. STILL...

Assign a Pokemon to your Squad, it should be relevant and explain why.
The Captain of the Squad is the most important member of the Squad, so I'm using both of us when making my decision.
Da.c will obviously be a Poison type Pokemon. I'm not specifically thinking of a Pokemon, because I also want to apply some other aspects of the squad too. I am not obviously a single type, but the squad as a whole would probably be Psychic, because Psychic types are usually thought of as Brain>Brawn, and the 2 smartest Pokemon (Alakazam and Uxie) are both Psychic types. I would also apply Electric and Steel types for the whole "technology/robot" part of the Squad.

This makes the most Squad-Twelve-like Pokemon being:
Alakazam, Uxie, the Magnemite line, the Beldum line, Jirachi, or the Bronzor line (based on the types).

Alakazam, Metagross and Magnezone are more offensive than defensive.
Uxie and Bronzong are more defensive.
Jirachi is mixed.

I think I'll go with Alakazam on this one. He's strong and powerful, one of the original 151 (and Da.c and I are both part of the first club) and his IQ is 5000

I would say one of the Steel-types, either Lucario or Bastiodon.

Why? Well, Steel-types are known for incredible defense, being the best defensive type in the game and laying claim to some of the highest defensive BSTs (Base Stat Totals). Bastiodon has extremely strong defensive stats, even for a Steel-type. Its ability, Sturdy, prevents it from being OHKO'ed, making it impossible to take out of the fight in one blow (especially the upgraded version in Gen 5). Its Pokedex entry for Platnium also says "When they lined up side by side, no foe could break through. They shielded their young in that way." Unshakable defenses and immovable desire to protect are two of the foundations of courage.

Lucario, on the other hand, takes a bit more to understand. Great WWI fighter pilot Eddie Rickenbacker said "Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared." Lucario, as the Aura Pokemon, can sense and understand all emotions, including fear. That means it's always carrying that fear somewhere close to its heart. Its abilities, Steadfast and Inner Focus, are activated by the Flinch condition, which is supposedly (according to the Pokemon anime and manga) activated by fear. Inner Focus means that Lucario will never flinch, but Steadfast means that when it flinches, it speeds up so it can KO the Pokemon that Flinched it before that Pokemon gets another chance to finish Lucario off. In other words, Lucario may flinch from fear, but it quickly overcomes that fear and defeats its opponent because it uses that fear to make itself stronger. The spirit to never give in, and the will to win no matter what obstacles are in your path is why Lucario would be the best representative of Squad 7.

Ooh, tough one. I'd have to say Train from Black Cat. He'd just add so much to the crazy atmosphere, and his weapon would make for a pretty good Shikai, with his special ability (Rail Gun) making an awesome Bankai. Too bad Starrk's abilities are so similar to his, though :/

Circ also has it almost as bad, he has all the same stuff to do as me, minus the Martial Arts. Instead, he has a second job. So don't get too mad at him that he hasn't been on.

For the squad as a whole, probably something like Arcanine since we're the security force of of the Seireitei. But it'd be easier to assign a pokemon based on the captain.

For me, it would be hard if not for the new gen 5 pokes; mine would Kirikizan.
For Tosen, Kricketune. >.> xD
For Kensei, probably Skarmory.

But Gin is a snake,Kida. ;p
I think Milotic would be great for Squad 4.
It gives support and has good defenses.

As far as I can see, Orihime is not wearing her hairpins. What this means for her having the power, I don't know.
Chad, I have a feeling that he's doing something that will either a) will move the plot along or b) be used as a conveniant excuse for him not knowing about the fact that he'll probably be targetted next.

...That depends on who you ask, isn't it?

The attack Payback (if the user had taken damage that turn, its power doubles) sounds like it suits your squad... It's a Dark type move.

Orihime... There was a theory, right?
Like, since the Hogyoku is the original source for Ichigo's, Inoue's and Chad's powers, then if it has been sealed, would they lose their power? Well, Ichigo certainly did, but he lost his power before it was sealed and because of another reason anyway. Since Chad and Inoue still have to show their power in this new arc, could it be possible that they too, lost their power?

But wait, if they DO lose their power, then the person who attacked Ishida wouldn't attack them now would he?

If they haven't... Well, we still don't know where Inoue's hairpins went.

BUT then, the hairpins themselves are normal items to begin with, so even though they lose their power, wouldn't the hairpin still be there? Hmmm...
