You may the first member of this club to actually like ichigo (at least of the one's I've met). But Urahara's cool.
captain arc: your zanpaktou page is fine and don't I always get free cookies? Also, I had no clue what Undine's curse was until I google it.You're going for some life-threatening respiratory disease, right?
no time to post chapter 2, but i can leave you with this preview of what is to come
"Do you know how it feels never being able to die? Watching your friends and family age and pass yet you live? That is my never-ending struggle."
"What is to come will shock you. The king will set up his pawns while the queen of hearts steals the show. The jack laughs as the ace wins another battle, waiting for his moment to strike. That is what the order of shinigami will become, a power-hungry war zone where no one will survive, not even the forces of hueco mundo will be able to stop him."
"That may be true, but one thing I know is that the future is uncertain and the end is always near."
as you may see it will take a turn from the jokes of chapter 1 to the seriousness of the situation, that is how I start every fic, chapter 1 is filled with jokes and some fast-paced things, whereas chapters afterward get more serious and patient. though i will chock it full of gurren lagann quotes
EDIT: Bleach just got replaced in "The Big 3" of manga/anime..... by TORIKO
i mean..... effing toriko........ now its One Piece, Naruto, Toriko

[why did I suddenly get an image of Zameric doing construction work on buildings? O.o]
Yes, in Bankai I can, the reason I can't do it in Shikai is because I can't create one element without upsetting the natural exisiting balance between the four which gives Life, or Spirit; if you create one but not it's opposing force, it can have hazardous consequences or cause an over-compensation in equilibrium.
But with Bankai, I have the Spirit element, which means that I can envoke any element in any amount that I choose within my Pentagram because the Spirit exists within that Pentagram and is self equalising. That's the full explanation of Bankai really. I thought about it too much havn't I?
Originally I did have Greek Gods for Air and Earth too, but the names just didn't fit in as well as the others =[
XD
Ah, okay. That's an awesome explanation. Nothing wrong with thinking too much about it. XD

I think Kai is another one who likes Ichigo as well, but we haven't seen him for a long time.
Thank you ^^ Okay, now I have to look for a different reward...
Exacta! It's not a new attack, though, just a new name for an already existing technique, because it sounds cool.

In spoils, because some events are still new.
Spoiler:
That's not exactly surprising, given how the plot was so cluttered up in the last arc. We needed a lot of explanation, and we were left without them. And we had so little Unohana screentime. And Yammy, the 0th Espada, died just like that, without any proper fight scene. And how the Captains, who could've all gone bankai, really did nothing to stop Aizen.(Apart from Hitsugaya and Komamura, maybe.)
Well yeah. I could go ranting for hours, but it's been said in the past. Just hoping that this new arc is going to bring some changes, but from the way it's developing, we might get to see Getsuga Tensho again, which is JOY. >.>
EDIT: Bleach just got replaced in "The Big 3" of manga/anime..... by TORIKO
i mean..... effing toriko........ now its One Piece, Naruto, Toriko
Spoiler:- In spoils because I like Toriko more than Bleach:
To be fair, Toriko kinda deserved it. The world building is excellent, characters are lovable and have interesting and consistent personalities, a unique setting in a world built around gourmet, very consistent power levels, great character development, abilities are explained well and make perfect sense to some degree, an overall very fun series that can get downright manly when it comes to fights.
It's actually very similar to One Piece, but the concepts are different enough that they can be viewed and enjoyed as two entirely different manga series. I find both to be better than either Naruto or Bleach but that's my opinion.
At the same time, Bleach's plot is kind of all over the place. Characters tend to do some of the most illogical things even in serious situations, and power levels are very inconsistent. There is an obvious preference of style over substance by the author and the way panels are used are so storyboardish that something which should require only one page to tell can be stretched over half a chapter. Pacing is one of Bleach's biggest problems.
Another rather glaring weakness of this series is how bland the main character is. He has no lifelong goal, no special motivation. His personality can be summed up as "I must fight to protect my friends", and as benevolent as that is, it kind of makes you a boring and shallow character if that's your only personality trait.
And in a recent interview, Kubo stated that he leaves the backgrounds out because he is drawing the "air" or some nonsense like that. What an excuse to leave out backgrounds...as if admitting that you don't plan ahead isn't bad enough, you admit that you don't draw because it's "stylish".
Bleach's setting had a lot of potential really...that's about the only thing I liked about it. I'm only still reading now because I'm curious to see how Kubo deals with his plotholes.
Check here for my Gijinka Project. (Alright, so I'm not good with advertising, is that such a big problem?)
Check here for my comic series, Fettuccine and Friends. (Well, at least I'm trying to advertise.)

*Avid Toriko fan here*
Couldn't have said it better, expecially about Bleach.
Spoiler:- Personal Opinion of Bleach:
There is a huge amount of possibilities available for Bleach, but one way or another, Kubo always manages to make them the same.
Let's take, for example, the Aizen battle.. They're all on about how Aizen is strong and they can't handle him YADAYADA...
THEY DON'T EVEN GO BANKAI, let alone shikai.. It just feels like a classic example of "I'll power down so the hero can save me".
Ichigo as a character is a grand fluke, shallow, unimaginative and repetitive (Hi there, Getsuga Tenshou ,you were cool the first time I saw you!). His personality is.. I'll fight to protect my friends.. and that's it.. does he even have a personallity?
Next is the antagonists, the only one who seems to have put up a decent fight was Ulquierra..
Yammy the 0th Espada.. he appeared in 0th of a chapter aswell.
Stark... he released and.. got defeated..
Barragan.. it was quite nice if you look at the circumstances..
Tia... Aizen killed/wounded her... A great character (she was actually given some sense of feelings), killed/wounded by Aizen because she could only handle.. what.. 3 captain levels at once?
THE POWER LEVELS ARE MESSED UP... Zaraki had a bit of a problem with the 5th Espada... suddenly the 0th espada is WEAK?
You're fighting the strongest guy ever... JUST GO BANKAI! Seriously..

Because you post so soon after them
And yeah, and now I feel like making a timeline of when people join (a time version, and a post version).

How do you know this? o.o
And does it really matter if it isn't a top 3 anymore? It's still a popular manga, and it's HIGHLY unlikely that Shonen will stop printing chapters for it...

chapter 2 is here! i'm changing jaku's visor a pair of kamina glasses with combat systems, because it's just that badass
Spoiler:- Chapter 2: I cannot die:
Jaku looked at Ryaku, his triangular glasses scanning the armor and bankai effects.
Hm, it seems those cards of his have a mirrored plate, so that is how he can deflect my bullets. It also seems the cards have elemental capabilities. Jaku thought.
"Since you leave me no choice, I'll make this quick. Hikari ryūsei danmaku!"
"Jaku, don't, you'll kill him!" captain Seijuro Arashi* yelled, but it was too late.
Jaku had flown into the air, and he launched a huge cannonball of light from his intricate revolver, when moments later, dozens of large meteors came flying out in all directions.
"You idiot! Are you trying to kill us?" Seijuro yelled. As a meteor came surging his way, he activated bankai, covering himself in a nigh on indestructible suit of armor.
When the dust cleared, Jaku's wings were gone, his armor's original shine was reduced to a dull color, and his shield was scorched, he looked toward the area were Ryaku was.
"Inconceivable!" Jaku yelled. As standing right there, with most of his armor scorched and blown off, was Ryaku.
"No one can survive Hikari ryusei danmaku!"
"I cannot die." Ryaku said.
Jaku was puzzled.
"Do you know how it feels never being able to die? Watching your friends and family age and pass yet you live? That is my never-ending struggle. I will tell you what happened that fateful day."
~~~~~
It was morning, I was dispatched to take down Espada number 4, Ulquiorra. When I found him we engaged in battle, but before I was able to unleash the full might of my bankai, he pierced me through the heart.
"What do you feel soul reaper, is it fear? Is it the fear of death that is not allowing you to speak, or is it an blade stuck through your heart?"
"B-b-bastard. . ."
He dropped me, turned and left me to rot in Hueco Mundo. I died that day, but what seemed like minutes later, I awoke to a strange light.
"Your purpose here is not over. You will live until you fulfill it."
"What is my purpose?"
"It will come in time, when a shining warrior in golden armor fights you, you will know it is time, pass your message onto him, and help him, only then will you find true peace. . ."
I awoke to find my body had decayed, I was nothing but a skeleton, after the hollows had feasted on my flesh.
~~~~
"That is what happened."
"Wow, I can't believe this-"
Jaku was cut off.
"Enough fighting you imbeciles, Hanto Wairudo!" captain Seijuro said, forming a giant wolf made of spirit energy.
They both released their bankai, and Ryaku agreed to come with them.
Later, in the Soul Society
"Hm, I see then." Golde said.
"I have reason to believe that Jaku is my shining golden knight."
"So he is the one you must relay your message to?"
Jaku stirred, he had been leaning on his zanpakuto the whole time while Ryaku relayed the account of the battle and Ulquiorra to Golde.
"I must say it to all of you. What is to come will shock you. The king will set up his pawns while the queen of hearts steals the show. The jack laughs as the ace wins another battle, waiting for his moment to strike. That is what the order of shinigami will become, a power-hungry war zone where no one will survive, not even the forces of hueco mundo will be able to stop him."
Jaku got up. "That may be true, but one thing I know is that the future is uncertain and the end is always near. So I don't want to regret doing nothing, for a tomorrow that might never come."
With that, Golde dismissed them, and they all reverted back to their original human forms, except for Ryaku, who was given a temporary home in district 3.
While walking on the mortal world, Jaku wore a yellow dress undershirt with a blue tie, a blue jacket and pants, with a pair of navy shoes to go with it.**
Jaku was walking with captain Seijuro and other members of the 13 court guard squads, when he stopped.
"Before I joined Gotei 13 5 years ago, I had already saved people. I traveled with a group of people who saved anyone, never resorting to violence, always traveling, always going, never to stop in one place, when I left, I joined and became a shinigami so I could help people."
"Why do you say this now?"
"I just have, a weird feeling, y'know? Like when something strange is going to happen.
Jaku's hunch was right, suddenly a noise was heard, like something scraping up against another thing, and something large started materializing.
*author's note: Eon Master's first Soul Reaper, I'll change it once he tells me the name of his new link-esque one
**author's note: Think Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop
hope you guys like it, so, What is the strange thing materializing? What is the meaning to Ryaku's strange prophecy? What ever happened to the smoothie Jaku had? Will Jaku ever visit the big apple? Will I ever stop asking these random questions?
Next time: Chapter 3: Blink

Honestly, I couldn't care less how popular or unpopular Bleach (or any other series I follow) is - I just care that I enjoy it... And heck, it doesn't have to be in the top three manga to still be popular and known around the world. It's not a big deal to me, because I never really cared about it being ranked among the three best manga to begin with. Do I think it deserved to be replaced? Honestly, I feel like Bleach is a bit scattered lately. Do I think it's completely Kubo's fault? No. Do I think it's partially his fault? Yes. Though after following Bakuman, which really does give a lot of insight on how manga creation works, I can say that the path Bleach has taken recently more or less couldn't be helped. I'm disappointed we missed some important scenes, but there's nothing we can do now. I can't compare Bleach to Toriko because I've never read the latter. It personally doesn't interest me, in a similar way that One Piece and Dragonball don't interest me. Does that mean I think they're bad? No. Does it mean they're not massively popular? Well duh, of course not! But because I haven't read Toriko, I can't make a fair judgement... But really, what happens, happens. It's not a huge deal, and it doesn't mean the world will end tomorrow.
Ahh!! I'm sorry! I started rambling again, didn't I! It happens a lot when I'm trying to get a thought out, as you may have noticed by now!!
Cell, did you make that GIF or did you find it?
And why is the guy in the front's head not replaced too? LOL
Due to my limited internet on my vacation, I was unable to catch up further on the anime... I'll try to catch up a bit soon. I hate to be so far behind!
@Cell: Oh my god, I think I died and reincarnated myself from laughing too much. What made it even funnier was that I was listening to Ganon's theme from Twilight Princess, and the beat matched the arm swinging perfectly xD
@Luke: My new Shinigami's name is Rouga Kouken. There's a profile about 8-10 pages back if you need more.
I mean come on.........LOYALTY! Even though I never met him yet.....
Yeah I'm that kind of guy...
I agree. This thread is farely cluttered, but were doing fine, and I would never do it without golde's permission. Besides, it's already 2 guys, were not pokemon, we cant just keep releasing bleach clubs.

well if he doesnt come back in the aforementioned month, we ARE going to have to do something, because it isnt updating and it NEEDS to be organized
and your profile reminds me, I need my power levels and backstory put in
Overall- / 600
Offense- 90
Jaku is extremely powerful when it comes to his attacks, however, due to the widespread effectiveness of some, the accuracy is so-so. With his light-speed sword strikes, he can attack extremely quickly dealing alot of damage
Defense- 80
Jaku is not very keen at defending in shikai, but in bankai his defense is kicked up a notch, with his shield and armor, he can block most incoming attacks, making his defense a key asset
Mobility- 100
Jaku can move at near light-speeds and is extremely agile, and this physical ability is merely amplified with bankai as he gains wings and his speed is increased. He can most possibly be one of the fastest shinigami in the gotei 13
Kido / Reiatsu- 70
Jaku has quite a bit of reiatsu himself, though most of that would be expended in his first few attacks, he relies on his zanpakuto absorbing solar energy and converting it into spiritual energy go green, with solar panel swords!
Intelligence- 100
Jaku has a photographic memory and his mind can work as fast (if not faster) than his reflexes, he can think quick and analyze the situation to every possible outcome, and uses his personally designed glasses to analyze his opponents and locate their weak spots. He likes playing it slow at first so he can learn his opponent's patterns and identify their weaknesses, though when he really gets going for a fight, he often rushes into things
Stamina- 70
Jaku is tough, he can take a bullet to the shoulder and keep fighting, if anything manages to break through his near indestructible armor and shield in bankai, he can take the pain of a direct wound.
Backstory: Jaku's past is shrouded in some mystery. before he joined squad 7 he worked with a rogue group when he was 13, dedicated to fighting for the lives of people throughout the universe, no matter how big or small, good or evil, he never liked violence. He left the group when he was 14 and wandered the earth for two years, sharpening his mind, his relfexes, and his ability to take pain. when he was 16 he joined the soul society and became a part of squad 7, he was there for five years now that his current age is 21, he has never lost a fight yet, but his checkered past leads some to believe he has some kind of emotional attachment, wherever he goes he carries a silver necklace on his neck, with a silver key on the end, he is often times found holding it, staring at it, as if to remembering something long ago.

@badmanjaro
Aww that's not a bad thing to be that way~
I wasn't around at the time of the first thread, but how come that one was closed? Was it just too cluttered or something?
I frequent on another forum (a J-pop fansite, mainly for Hello! Project) though the details of it isn't too important... But anyway, on that site, there are threads for each member of certain groups - and one of the members' threads has 2042 pages. That's right, over two thousand. I don't really think 156 pages is too many... Though maybe I'm just used to being in threads with over a thousand pages? XD (There are others on that site with over 1000, but not yet 2000, pages.)
Anyway, why's Golde not been on lately? Was there a reason or is this just an unexplained absence? I might have known the answer to this question but I can't really remember. XD Sorry.
also, Golde's been gone a while now, if it gets to be a month since he was last on, rules say we can make a new thread....
With who leading it? That's like rats abandoning the ship before it's even sinking just because the captain is asleep.
Golde made this club - Golde remains owner of club. Golde decides if there's a need for a new club.
Also I approve of Kubo trolling trolling trolling trolling us. I swear every chapter is just a character flashily drawing his sword for 20 pages.

And I presume you propose yourself to update it and organize it, thus imposing yourself as the owner of the Bleach club while Golde is gone, because if you weren't power hungry you wouldn't mention this at all, would you?
A gilded cage is a cage nonetheless.

We can't just wait a month and say "LOLNEWCLUB", golde is busy with college, and will probably be frequent on WLM in the future, it isn't that cluttered, we just need to replace some Zans. That isn't a reason to start some uprising and a new club, If we can't get a hold of him, we can just politely request the mod edit the front page. It's a couple of zans for christs sake.

I was thinking, if something absolutely NEEDS to be added to the front page, why not put it in the second post, for until Golde has a chance to add it to the first one?
Unless I'm seeing things, ILP is the one who posted second in this thread. And he's pretty active. I mean, it's not a GREAT solution, but if we don't want to get a mod involved (for whatever reason) it might not be a bad idea just to add it to the second post for now... IF it MUST be on the front page ASAP, which I don't really know why it'd have to be...
Just put it in your sig or something, for now... I dunno. Sorry I'm kinda low on ideas now... XD
