Quite. Only difference is the element (poison vs... time?) and the fact that the corrosion is not a chain effect. If she gets your hand, she gets your hand only. It doesn't extend to your arm and ultimately, your whole body.

But part of the use of poison is that it gets into your bloodstream and spreads like mad in seconds... So perhaps you should mention that it doesn't spread?

I had a few different ideas for my OCs, actually. Originally (as you know) it was supposed to be microorganisms at cellular level, but then Clara's ability isn't so much related towards that microorganism Hydra as she is geared towards the mythical Hydra, so I went for the Greeks instead. Even then, I sometimes thought of doing a set of OCs with youkai (Japanese demons) theme, but I couldn't fit my first OC into that team, so finally I settled for Greek gods.

Ahaha, I hate replying via phone. It's so small it's hard to properly type and stuff. And making tags is one hundred (that's a hyperbole) times worse. I only occasionally reply via phone if I've got something that I really want to say.

The only time I have a problem with replying on my phone is if there are a LOT of posts to reply to, or if you reply, because you used to have font tags. Not so much a problem now.

Like Ryuu, he's good in all kinds of knowledge (including sciences, maths, philosophy, general knowledge, etc.). It's just that they both enjoy in particular Maths and Physics. They're like me, but their brains are boosted with steroids.

Her body would nullify Dac's poison anyway, and as I mentioned, there isn't really anything that it does, because... anything immediately corrodes as it touches the poison maybe except un-corrodable stuff or gets corroded slower using your zanpakto. So I'll take that out... because it's redundant anyway.

FINALLY! It's getting interesting. Now I have high hopes for the Byakuya bs Tsukishima fight. :3 Even into non living things... Now that is indeed scary and haxxy. Of course, Byakuya still have Kido up his sleeve, and Tsukishima only cut, what, maybe two, three, ten, of Senbonzakura? Byakuya has hundreds more, lol. And not to mention Utsusemi. Buuuuuut yeah, looking forward for a good fight next chapter. :3 Unless Kubo goes to Rukia first, that is. Or he trolls us again with Byakuya over a bleeding Tsukishima on the first page with a huge dialog box "A deceitful act that stands on the way of my pride will never touch me". Or something like that. Just like Kubo, building something up for nothing, lol. Though I might be too pessimistic here. Hopefully not. >.>

And. Seems like Moe is indeed going to turn over to the good side? The dark side has cookies Maybe, maybe not. But still. Though would Kenpachi die for Ikkaku? I doubt. XD Interesting part, though. Only die for those who would die for you.

So. The new canon arc has finally started. I like the new opening and ending. I'm not insanely addicted to them but they're both good. About the story itself, well it's not really changed or anything, but I like how it's animated and stuff... I mean, the way the new appearances are and stuff. Yeah. It's good.

"Does this look meaningful to you?" I kind of like that. It's like he's poking fun at typical cliches of slashes that just look cool. He also makes Byakuya think that Trollkishima thinks his attacks are useful; MYND GAEMZ

I wonder why he's so close to Tsukishima. Maybe they actually do have a past, though it's likely that Tsukishima just cut him...

"OF COURSE HE IS! HE'S ****ING STRONG! I'M WILLING TO DIE FOR HIM!" I dislike that logic. I will die for him because he's strong? At least have a proper reason. But at least this is another reason why Kubo matched Ikkaku and Shishigawara; Ikkaku must have similar feelings for Kenpachi.

I think Ikkaku is just using "Older Brother" as a generic term for Tsukishima. They probably aren't brothers.

He... affects... Inorganic matter. Okay, there are SO many faults in that logic. For one thing, that implies that particles hold some kind of "memory". They they "know" that they have been set up, and change their form in that way. Secondly, it means that he can literally change the world by slashing it. If he cuts an ocean, I'm pretty sure he can set up some kind of massive current shift (no matter how convoluted it might be to actually do that). Not to mention, who's to say when one object "begins" or "ends"? If I slash the floor, does that extend to a room? A house? The country? Just... just no. And the worst part is that - as Jin has mentioned many times - he won't exploit it as well as he could.

So that means that Senbonzakura is under Trollkishima's control. ConTrollKishima. Anyway, I wonder how that would work on Kidou spells - if it could.

Either Tsukishima thinks that cutting one blade is like cutting all of Senbonzakura (which it may or may not be, depending on what Kubo decides to do). Because you could say that each petal is part of one Senbonzakura, and that affecting one affects them all (like cells in a body; he can cut your arm, but it affects your whole body).

I think what Ikkaku said confirmed that he would. Not to mention, Kenpachi and Ikkaku would spar/fight a lot, so he would lose a good partner if Ikkaku died. Then again, if he follows the "fight for pride, or fight for life" ...

I think Kenpachi would "fight" for Ikkaku, not die. Kenpachi always wants to fight the strongest, so if someone beat his sparring partner, he would want to defeat the person responsible.

Ok. Decent chapter compared to the others we've been having. The little speech Ikakku gave is probably going to make Shishigawara do some crazy Heel Face Turn.

I think I may have some justification, albeit slightly poor, for ConTrollkishima's power to affect the inanimate objects. Fullbringers manipulate the soul of an object to aid them. The way I see it, Tsukishima uses Book of the End as a vessel to transfer his power though (think electrical current through copper wire). He uses soul manipulation to change the history of an object, hence thr changes to memory. By manipulating the soul of the fight area to change the history of the area. We can assume that the more energy Tsukishima uses the weaker he gets, just like any other spiritual being, and that the larger an object/area/person he has to manipulate, the more energy he uses. With that logic in mind, manipulating people with uses a lesser amount of energy, a building would use a medium amount of energy but things like oceans/countries/the world would probably come very close to killing him.

I doubt. I hope not. I don't think so, though, because Kido spells aren't objects at all. They're continuously created and destroyed, not something that is permanent like a structure. Though I'm starting to find faults in his logic, after rereading the chapter the second time.

How the f*ck does cutting Senbonzakura make him "immune" to the blade's skills? He said he's seen them too many times it's downright boring. But that's not the way how his Book of the End works. It inserts *Tsukishima* inside the blade, not the *blade* inside Tsukishima. In other words, it gives Tsukishima's modification into the stuff. It doesn't make Tsukishima understand that stuff any better. If we use that logic on people, for example, it inserts Tsukishima into Orihime's life, so Orihime's memory is now filled with "Tsukishima did this with me" and "Tsukishima saved Rukia with Ichigo" etc., but it doesn't insert Orihime inside Tsukishima's past, right? In that case, when he said he "inserted" himself into the blade, the blade (if it has a memory, just for example) would "remember" that it once cut Tsukishima, but it doesn't mean Tsukishima now has a memory as well that he was once cut by the blade?

Unless his ability works both ways, in which case it would give him a multiple personality disorder. On Friday night seventeen months ago, he was simultaneously helping Orihime getting away from Ulquiorra and helping Chad to defeat Gantebainne (sp?) and helping Ichigo fight Grimmjow and helping Renji fight Szayel.

Also, another mind=blown. If he can insert anything inside that brick/floor/building, why not just set a reiatsu absorber or a bomb or something more potent than just having the walls slide up? lol. Kubo is either giving his character too much power without realizing the potential of them again, or he's doing a poor job of explaining Book of the End, it's limitations, etc.

Special ability (unique to you as an Arrancar): She has this weird nature with poison; her body nullifies any other poison directed towards her and any of her allies’ poisonous attacks have greater capabilities whenever they are fighting within her range. She is also capable of recognizing poison even if she never saw it before.

I think I may have some justification, albeit slightly poor, for ConTrollkishima's power to affect the inanimate objects. Fullbringers manipulate the soul of an object to aid them. The way I see it, Tsukishima uses Book of the End as a vessel to transfer his power though (think electrical current through copper wire). He uses soul manipulation to change the history of an object, hence thr changes to memory. By manipulating the soul of the fight area to change the history of the area. We can assume that the more energy Tsukishima uses the weaker he gets, just like any other spiritual being, and that the larger an object/area/person he has to manipulate, the more energy he uses. With that logic in mind, manipulating people with uses a lesser amount of energy, a building would use a medium amount of energy but things like oceans/countries/the world would probably come very close to killing him.

I understand what you mean though perhaps your wording is a bit off. In the same way that Ginjou controlled the spirit of the object (eg the alcohol, so he can drink it), Tsukishima uses BotE to control the spirit of the object, to change its history. It's a plausible logic, and probably what Kubo will use to explain it. Though again, there's the logic in that particles don't know their past/history. It's why even if you flip a coin 99 times and they all come up heads, there is a 50/50 chance of flipping heads/tails on the 100th flip. It's just how things work.

Though you're probably right on how manipulating the history of larger bodies requires more energy.
 

I doubt. I hope not. I don't think so, though, because Kido spells aren't objects at all. They're continuously created and destroyed, not something that is permanent like a structure.

Kidou is, most likely, some mixture of Reishi and Reiryoku (spirit particles and spirit energy, respectively). So they aren't technically created and destroyed, like how "conventional" energy cannot be created/destroyed (but that's obviously beside the point). But they are objects; a certain Espada's ability can cause them to rot. So logically, they should be treated like physical objects, and should be affected by Tsukishima's powers.

How the f*ck does cutting Senbonzakura make him "immune" to the blade's skills? He said he's seen them too many times it's downright boring. But that's not the way how his Book of the End works. It inserts *Tsukishima* inside the blade, not the *blade* inside Tsukishima. In other words, it gives Tsukishima's modification into the stuff. It doesn't make Tsukishima understand that stuff any better. If we use that logic on people, for example, it inserts Tsukishima into Orihime's life, so Orihime's memory is now filled with "Tsukishima did this with me" and "Tsukishima saved Rukia with Ichigo" etc., but it doesn't insert Orihime inside Tsukishima's past, right? In that case, when he said he "inserted" himself into the blade, the blade (if it has a memory, just for example) would "remember" that it once cut Tsukishima, but it doesn't mean Tsukishima now has a memory as well that he was once cut by the blade?

Unless his ability works both ways, in which case it would give him a multiple personality disorder. On Friday night seventeen months ago, he was simultaneously helping Orihime getting away from Ulquiorra and helping Chad to defeat Gantebainne (sp?) and helping Ichigo fight Grimmjow and helping Renji fight Szayel.

Also, another mind=blown. If he can insert anything inside that brick/floor/building, why not just set a reiatsu absorber or a bomb or something more potent than just having the walls slide up? lol. Kubo is either giving his character too much power without realizing the potential of them again, or he's doing a poor job of explaining Book of the End, it's limitations, etc.

But, "past" is a chronological term, meaning that as long as something existed during a time, Tsukishima can affect it. And as for how he affects Senbonzakura, if he inserts himself into the blade's past as a wielder of the blade, he can learn all of its abilities that way. And his mind wouldn't exactly be functioning under split personalities, it would be like having each in a seperate memory, and because Tsukishima knows how his Book of the End works, he's not going to freak out because he knows they happened at the same time.

The fact is, at its barest level, Tsukishima basically controls reality with this power. By changing the past, he controls the present, and he can change the past however he wishes, thereby controling the present. And all it takes is a single cut and a genius-level intellect, which he likely posesses. Think of what he could accomplish with that, and you'll understand what I meant by the first sentence.

Yes but, it's not the same Kido. I mean like, if Byakuya uses Shakkaho, it wouldn't be the same Shakkaho that he once used say, 20 years ago. Barragan's power cause Kido to rot, so it doesn't matter if it's the same Kido or not. But Tsukishima actually needs to cut one specific thing in order to insert his presence in it.... If you get what I'm trying to say here.

Okay, that would explain him knowing about Senbonzakura. Still, it doesn't exactly mean that he would be able to dodge Senbonzakura perfectly. If you were an ex-owner for a gun, for example, that doesn't necessarily mean you would be able to dodge all of its bullets.
