Can someone please help me with what I am doing wrong, I am trying to Breed an Elekid with the moves Ice Punch and Cross chop

Firstly I bred a female electabuzz with male machop

with the elekid that was born with cross chop and lvled up and bred with male medicham for Ice Punch

Now my elekids only have ice punch so I tried breeding male machop with cross chop with female medicham with ice punch together and now I only get a normal meditite???

what am I doing wrong?

I just want my Elekid to have ice punch and cross chop

The Father must know both moves. So here is what you do. Medite can't learn either Moves, but Machop can.

First breed the Medicham with a Female member of the Machop line. The Kid should be have Ice Punch. Level it up the MALE Machop until it Learns Cross Chop. Remember that you have to Keep Ice Punch.

Breed this Male with a Female ElectaBuzz. Bingo the kids should know both moves.

You could try Wikipedia or defining them with Google. Might help you out.

Hi guys!
I need help making my platinum team.
I didn't beat the E4 yet, so I guess this is the best place to ask.
At the moment, this is what I have:
Torterra (47)
Gabite (32)
Staraptor (46)
Houndoom (27)
Gyarados (36)
Tropius (30)

Houndoom and tropius are just fillers, because i don't know what to use instead.
I was thinking also about switching gyarados with something else, but I'm not sure what.
Any adive? Thanks ^^

Cause i was thinking about changing Gyarados with Milotic, and add maybe a gengar instead of houndoom (and leave tropius where he is since i need an hm slave).

If you want to switch pokemon, there is no one stopping you. As long as you have diverse types and diverse moves on each, at a high enough level, you'll be fine.

If you can understand the battle strategies for using a Rampardos then I would say go with that.

Because of Rampardos' stat distribution it makes a classic glass cannon.

If you can't use Rampardos effectively then go with Luxray.

This is however not knowing the rest of your team, you need to look at weaknesses. Are your Pokémon mainly Ground/Fire/Rock types. If so then you have a huge water weakness and will need the electric STAB Luxray has. Mainly Grass/Bug/Fighting types, then go with the rock STAB Rampardos has.

For Drifloon, Calm, Gentle or Mild might work. For Cranidos, Timid or Bashful.

I got my Eevee from w/e city. It's already level 20 and even with the soothe bell I doubt I can get it's happiness maxed by level 28(Umbreon learns confuse ray at 29). It toke my Crobat about 18 levels since it was a zubat to level 25 to finally evolve, wearing the soothe bell most of the time. How much do vitamins and certain berries raise that stat per point each?

The vitamins give the specific EV 10 points per use, and can't be used if the current EVs in that stat are 100 or you have reached 510 total EVs. The stat reducing berries lower EVs in that stat to 100 if there are more than 100 EVs in that stat or by 10 EVs if there are 100 or fewer EVs in that stat.

Im talking about the happiness stat...

It says vitamins boost happiness.

I'm not sure by how much they raise happiness...but you can simply keep walking with it in your team without using it in battles until it reached max happiness, if you really want it to evolve before lv 29.
That's how I got my lv 2 Togetic

Not only that, but giving the Pokémon a Soothe Bell or giving it a massage in Veilstone City or the Resort Area helps too. That what I always do to get max. happiness.
Easy way for getting alot of steps, which will increase happiness (as long as it's in your party) ; get your bicycle at the long road in Solaceon Town. Keep bicycling at the road. That should all help raising your Pokémons happiness.

Ok, I wasted like... all my cash on vitamins on my Eevee, and it has two hearts on it now. I know it's ready cause it accidently evolved into espeon w/e, then I had to redo like an hour. But I guess I don't gotta waste my money then. Wish it would turn to night someday.

I got two more questions.

When do those Psyducks leave on route 210, cause it seems that the shiny stone is in the area they're blocking.

How does the Safari zone work? I want to catch a Yanma but it keeps running away! I don't know if the safari zone has always been like that. Only recent one I played was saph and I never entered the safari zone there.
