There are no current running events for Platinum.

You get the Mystery Gift by talking to a man on the 3rd Floor of the Jubilife City TV Station. Tell him, "EVERYONE HAPPY" and "WI-FI CONNECTION" in that order, and you're good to go. You cannot enter the station until you defeat the TG Grunts in Jubilife after beating Roark.

You get Mystery Gift in Jubilife. The main site has a page telling you how.

There are no events going on for Platinum right now.

Hi, quick question. I wanted to start a new game and trade over a team from Soulsilver, but before I deleted my game, something occurred to me. If I don't have the upgraded pokedex, can I still bring over Pokemon from different generations?

Yes you can. They just don't have numbers.

I been building a double battle team to suit my tastes.

I got my Misdreavus(I don't wana evolve her), and im prepping up a specialized Togekiss.

Misdreavus has right now: Confuse Ray/Will-o-Wisp/Thunder Wave/Attract, for keeping the opponent crippled.

My Togekiss will be designed for finishing the enemy, and covering Misdreavus.
Im going to give it Follow Me, but I was wondering, does that move have to keep being reapplied every turn, or is it permanent/duration?

It needs to be used every turn.

How devastating would the combo of Will-o-wisp and Reflect be? It's probably overkill though if the opponent is already confused/infactuated/paralized.

But still, reducing a physical pokemon's power to just 25% would be nasty. That's like fire on a water/rock type.

I was planning Roost-Wish/Light Screen/Reflect/Follow Me, but it's a death sentence if it's partner is KO'd. I might give Misdreavus Curse and leftovers to end the battle faster.

Does it all seem like an okay idea?

You can't stack status effects...kind of. A Pokemon can be poisoned, put to sleep, paralyzed, or burned. On top of that, confusion can be added to any of them. If you attempt to use Spore on a Pokemon that is already burned, it'll fail.

But it IS a good combination. Even Super-Effective moves can be reduced to...well, smaller amounts of damage with Reflect Up and the opponent burned.

Does Protect/Detect repel both enemy attacks in a double battle? Since Thunder Wave seems useless for my plan.

That seems like a foolproof way to keep misdreavus safe when togekiss heals or puts up a defensive move.

This isn't really a DPPt question, but I suppose...

Anyway, I caught a shiny Drifloon to RNG with. I have no luck in random encounter shinies and I really can't chain, so that goes down the drain.

That's beside the point though. So I went to figure out its ivs. Since I haven't battled with the Drifloon yet, it doesn't have any EVs. I entered all the information (I took a guess, I'm pretty sure its Hidden Power type is Psychic) but it gives me a range of numbers (all the calculators I tried but Serebii's, which gave me one individual value each). So when I want to calculate PID, I couldn't figure out which numbers to use because I tried the results from Serebii's calculator and there were no results. Anybody shed some light on which I should use?

    Drifloon - #425 (Timid)
    HP: 2 - 6
    Att: 5 - 9
    Def: 25
    SpA: 21, 23, 25
    SpD: 9, 11
    Speed: 10, 12, 14
And if you're interested, is is:

Drifloon with Timid Nature and a "sturdy body" at level twenty-two. HP is 71, Atk is 25, so is Defense, Sp. Atk is 36, Sp. Def. is 26, and Spd is 41.

? I would appreciate any help.

Calculators will only give you the real IVs at level 100. So get it to level 100 and then check. The easiest way is to do a Wi-Fi battle where Pokemon are automatically level 100.

If you went through Stark Mountain with Buck and went through all that Galactic mess then all you have to do is go to Heatran's room.
