Air Battle Master Appears! Gliscor VS Scizor!

On their way to the next town, Ash & Co. discover a Pokémon battle is taking place. This battle is between a Scizor & Chimecho. The gang soon learns that the trainer is the Air Battle Master and specialises in aerial Pokémon combat. Ash is eager to challenge him with his Gliscor. However, the battle ends up being a lot harder than he anticipated so Ash decides to train Gliscor to be even better...

Pics have started to appear for this episode. Will post what happened in the episode (based on the pics) in a few moments.

    - Gliscor lost its battle against Scizor (known) & is crying after that.
    - Gliscor is sad because of the loss.
    - Ash comes to talk with Gliscor in the night & Dawn appears & does something.
    - Gliscor night training then begins.
    - Seems like the Air Master ask Ash whether it could train Gliscor.
    - Then Gliscor has some flashbacks.
    - Ash left the decision to Gliscor & it decided to stay with the Air Master.

Note:- Won't be able to post pics because the pic hosting site i use isn't working now.

Was it confirmed in anyway - that Glisocr was 'charizarded' and not 'ambipomed'? or, are you just saying? Still it could be 'primaped' and we won't ever know.

Considering Ash hasn't released a Pokémon since 1999, I'd like to think it's more a training

    I don't know about that.

I'm actually suprised that for once Scizor got to be the badarse pokemon it deserves to be instead of a fodder for Ash or someone else to beat the tar out of.

Zard, please don't adapt the "Charyzrd & skwurtl r starturz!" BS argument Cyber likes to use. Since Gliscor is basically in for training, to become better at battling, there should be no reason it won't return for the league. Being one of Ash's most popular Sinnoh Pokemon, I don't see why not.

So Gliscor is becoming the next Charizard in this episode. It was expected.

Yeah. Gliscor was released. He also successfully learned Giga Impact ... which is a waste. The release was foreshadowed before the Night training. Gliscor refused to go back into its Pokeball and wandered off in the night.

    The Old Man's Scizor
    - Metal Claw: Brock confirmed it in the opening scene. The old man commanded it later; " Metal Claw ".
    - Double Hit: Commanded by the Old Man. " Double Attack ".
    - Double Team: Commanded by the Old Man.
    - Hyper Beam: Commanded by the Old Man.

The girl's Chimecho used an attack but I was distracted. Can't say what it was.

No Team Rocket interference. It appears they actually returned Gliscor to Ash when he crashed. That was nice of them.

    - Gliscor wins the rematch
It doesn't. Gliscor lost the rematch by KO as well.

It seemed too much like the episode where Charizard gets released for training.

I secretly enjoyed how Scizor was victorious and Gliscor lost. Let it train and get stronger and then it can return. It was a waste to learn a new move right when it left.

Let's see... Gliscor learned Giga Impact and went for training. I want to see it return, like mentioned above; in a similar way to Charizard.

Animation wasn't too bad considering it was Kinoshita.

Released as expected. Can any one who understands Japanese confirm whether Ash told Giscor he'd call on it for the Sinnoh League?

Ash only mentioned Sinnoh League in the beginning of the episode, when introducing Gliscor to the air master.

It could've been alluded to but I didn't hear any comments about the league as Ash was releasing Gliscor.
Misinterpreting my posts is not your fault, negative repping me, and getting very sensitive about my posts because you misinterpreted my posts however is your fault. Think really hard, before negative repping or making a big deal about my posts. I don't appreciate being negative repped for reasons that are a result of misinterpreting my posts.

Gliscor has learned Giga Impact perfectly, or it needs some more training on it?

Sad to see Gliscor go but at the same time a bit relieved (no more speculation about that, there was too much bashing). I too am curious about whether it is actually confirmed Gliscor will be a "new Charizard" or not?

Well it sucks that Gliscor left for training...but if it really is like Charizard then it's not that bad since it'll be back and alot stronger.

I would have liked it if it stayed though.

Wow, I was actually pretty annoyed when I found out about Gliscor (probably because I was niave enough to believe it would simply get oaked) but afetr coming here and reading this thread, everyones calm reaction has calmed me down. Thank you all .

As said, it wont be so bad if it becomes the next Charizard, but if it doesn't it just seems like a bit of a waste to me.

I want to believe that Gliscor can be called back on like charizard. As i can swear there would have been a gliscor vs gliscor battle against Paul in the league.
I reckon Ambipom and Gliscor would comeback for a few episodes in Ash and Dawns tournaments.

I think it's GREATTTTTTT that Ash's Gliscor left. Look on th bright side, at least he'll get another one on DP157. But I also want Ash to catch a Riolu.Do you think it's possible, guys?

I'm really getting sick of the way Pokemon leave in Diamond and Pearl. Cacnea, Ambipom and Gliscor have all left to train with another trainer that we'll probably never see again over something that came up in the same episode they leave that was never an issue for them before.

I just hope Ash uses his Oaked Pokemon in the Sinnoh League. The 6 on 6 battles in the Hoenn League got dull with Ash only using the exact same team of 6 each episode.

As I've been watching this series and after seeing the 6 on 6 battle with Paul. I had a feeling this was going to happen. I mean Ash barely used Gliscor in the last few episodes and I have a feeling it won't be like Charizard. Well, I can't say for sure but I just have this nagging feeling Gliscor is gone for good. Off subject I do hope we see Ambipom. I also agree with Gaiash, is anyone in this series going to actually train their pokemon and not release it to some other trainer?

I was preparing myself for it so I'm not too bummed.

I get the feeling we will see it again for the Sinnoh League.

Gliscor only executed the attack once but it did so without any problems. It seems Gliscor was left for training so it could learn to maneuver better in the air.
