i chose mudkip, it's the best choice for doing a speedrun because there are only two trainers in the game that have a pokemon that can effectively asttack his weaknesses.
i thought it was the rival and some lady near the bridges before the city where silph co is.

I chose Torchic, just because I liked him better, and it's kinda stange, I usually like water types better.

In every game I pick the water type.

Ruby - Torchic

I chose Mudkip. Water starters are easy to train with and the're still really strong.

I didn't like any of the starters, but I chose Treecko based on the fact that it's a grass type. Aside from the fourth generation, I've always chosen the grass type.

I chose Treecko. I had chosen Mudkip before (in my Sapphire), but since I'm into grass types now, that is the reason for my selection for Treecko.

Mudkip, or Torchic. I don't know why, but Grass has never been my first choice. I only choose them if I got three or two version.

I started with Torchic and I usually go with Torchic or Mudkip.
