That's a long time for it to not air. I know that Australia and New Zealand are usually the last to receive anything in entertainment, but that's a bit crazy.

They need to translate it before they can air it over here :L I prefer the English voices anyway.

So I've been at my University for a few days and we had a fair where clubs and organizations set up to recruit new members. I found a pretty awesome anime/manga/gaming/etc. club and joined, especially after noticing somebody's favorite show was Avatar!

Meanwhile, it turns out that in the middle of the next season of Korra, there will be two episodes that may or may not be relevant to the current storyline, but that will explain in full detail The Spirit World and the beginning of the Avatar. How cool is that?

That's awesome man. We've got our own gaming club at my school, and we include anime and manga. But because our campus has such a small population compared to the rest of the campuses, our gaming club is more of a tribe with a council while the others are democratic-republics.

So it won't be relevant to the Book 2 story, but rather to the franchises overall story and background lore.

EDIT: Earlier this afternoon at my school, a group called "Team M&M" came in and did body paintings and balloon art. I decided to get airbending tattoos. When I have the pics, I'll post them up.

As for the meanwhile, I like the idea of a mythology episode (or two episodes!). The avatar-verse (or whatever the name of it is) is pretty awesome with the spirits and the bending and whatnot. I'd like to hear about the beginning of the avatar cycle. And the spirit world is always a big plus for me

Er when you say "next season" do you mean next book (aka Book 2: Spirit) or the actual next season (Book 3 + 4). To me it would make more sense as next book because is spirit after all.

So now that I've settled into my dorm and such, I am beginning to seriously regret not bringing any DVD's, especially my complete collection of Avatar. I've also met a few fans on campus, mostly female interestingly enough.

Still got no news about Korra here. They repeat Avatar Aang series once again *Sighh*. Yeah sure they are awesome but I am thinking they plan to make Avatar Korra series extremly later :/

I'm way excited for Bok 2 to be detailing the start of the Avatar! I wonder if the Avatar was born from the spirit world due to some imbalance and war between the nations...

You mean filler? I wouldn't mind some, show them getting some what closer as a team. We never actually saw new Team Avatar working together, just love triangle this love traingle that,
