Well depends on the moves you want that Kirlia can learn but Gallade can't. Generally they aren't to useful so I guess anywhere before 25 will work so your Gallade will learn Swords Dance?

Well you could teach it Counter in LG/FR but that's it. It cannot learn Counter in HG/SS. So you'll have to Pal Park an Alakazam from the older games

You need to get it in FireRed/LeafGreen, as Counter is a one off Move Tutor. The Good news is that You can Find Abra in those Games

For Infernape, would Blaze Kick or Flare Blitz be a wiser option?

They're two very different moves. Flare Blitz has the power but also hurts you and has lower PP. Blaze Kick is a better all-around move in my opinion.

Why didn't Picknicker Gina give me a Leaf Stone when I defeated her in a rematch?

Because she doesn't give them to you for defeating her. She'll give you one when she finds one, just like Crystal.

Did you call her for a rematch or did she call you?

How are you losing with a level 100 Feraligatr? You've got coverage with it in spades. If you need something for Venusaur, Flying, Ice, Fire, or Psychic work wonders on it.

Thanks for the advice, I'll start training pokemon in the morning, I think the reason I was losing was because venasaur kept on using his frenzy plant, K.O.ing my Feraligatr, which means I don't have my strongest pokemon. I'll let you know if it works tomorrow.

My presence is strong, but i am forgotten
But I have aquired something begotten
On my vacation i have seen
So many different and interesting things
My friends, and enemies, they're all the same
Some with difference, some with shame
Please forgive me my dear friends
For it's not the beginning, nor the end
    Of something beautiful happeneing here
I only wish I had bigger ears
To hear the world that I live in
And to see the beauty that surrounds me
Please, plaease forgive me for being so foolish
For i have done something quite doofish
Which was to abandon my life and friends
To what i thought, was the end

Feraligatr has access to some Decent Ice moves, which does hurt grass types.

Lapras is very good Ice, but you probably don't want to double up.

Waterfall and Surf I know you need, and maybe Rock Smash/Strength, but I don't remember the last one. You DO NOT need Rock Climb, however.

^^ for ease I would use one Pokemon that can learn most HM's useful for exploring the cave such as: Linoone, Togetic or Kabutops. I'm pretty sure it's only the 4 HM's you need though, I don't think there is a 5th in response to hitoshura0.

I've got a small question. In regards to the Bug Catching Contest, there is a girl there who mentions that "having a Pokemon of an alternate color increases your chances of winning". I'm not sure if she means:

    a) Using a Shiny Pokemon (Gyarados for example) adds to your overall score or....
    b) Catching a Shiny Pokemon adds to your overall score

Which one is it? Any clarification is appreciated

Catching a shiny Pokemon as they are rare so finding and catching one takes great skill therefore, boosting your overall score.
