You only need to give the Miltank seven Oran Berries to heal it. :)

Could someone help me? i have bred 5 mareep eggs, the parents: male vulpix & female mareep. My male vulpix was in level 27 with the move "safeguard" learned and i wanted to pass this move to the baby mareeps because it's on its egg moves list, but when they all hatched... (i was so excited btw) the babies only had one move, which is tackle =S. Maybe i'm doing something wrong, would someone correct me? thanks

I'm wondering about the EV's, because I've been training my Tyrogue on Route 21 on Tangela's, which are supposed to give Defense EV's, but sometimes it's +0 or only +1, but its Attack keeps getting at least +1. I need it to be a Hitmonchan but its Attack is currently 2 points higher than its Defense.

Am I doing something wrong? It's Careful nature but that's only supposed to really affect Special Att. and Special Def. and that has nothing to do with training a Hitmonchan.

How long are you leaving in the Day care? It could take many steps before he calls.

The other Pokémon gotta be Male otherwise it won't pass down any egg moves!

Ye, Vulpix still knows safeguard... i was in my way to ecruteak's gym leader morty when the parents were breeding, should I have more progressin game or something? (my togepi has hatched, i showed it to prof. elm, got the everstone)
BTW: Mareep was holding everstone while breeding

I had the same problem on the original silver, but i did the "In and out" Technic".
Give the money to your mum and then go into the E4 and train. don't matter if you lose, just so they get experience.

or else i don't know...

Besides the above method Victory Road is really all you've got to train at...

thanks for everything. Still planting and watering. Is there a best time to pick to get more than 2 per plant? I think I read that somewhere but not sure where? Same with Apricorns?

After 16 hours of planing it.

However the Amount of berries actually depends on how you water it, just don't let the soil dry out.

Berry formula

The formula that the games use to decide how many fruits a specific Berry tree will bear is to the right of the page. This formula is calculated as follows:



* a is the maximum number of Berries that can appear on the plant
* b is the minimum number of Berries that can appear on the plant
* c is a number randomly chosen between a and b, inclusive
* d is the number of growth stages during which the plant was watered

This formula is only used if the player has watered the plant at least once during its growth. If the plant is left to its own devices, it will always bear the minimum number of fruit.
