Does anyone know a good spot to train Bellsprout? He's under Lvl 20, 'bout 16? And I'm finding it difficult to train all my pokemon, normally I just find my self training one pokemon. Has anyone got any tips + spots for types of pokemon?

Does anyone know when an egg goes from 'this doesn't look like it will hatch' to 'it might hatch soon' to 'it's going to hatch!' in terms of the % of steps? Like, does it go to 'it might hatch soon' after 50% of the steps for hatching?

This would depend on where you are in the game. From the level, I'm guessing somewhere between/around Azelea or Goldenrod. If that's the case, you might try Union Cave (near Azelea). In most other places around that area, there's lot of bug, grass and poison pokemon, which won't take much damage from grass. If you have a poison attack, you might be able to have some success.

Also, it's better to just edit your posts then posting multiple in a row; you can in trouble for it.

In a related question, does anyone know which pokemon take the longest? The greatest amount of steps I've seen is a little over 10000 (for Chansey, Deino and others), disregarding legends, of course. Are there any pokemon that take more steps then that?

    PsychicPsycho, I'm at Morty's gym.

Any different spots if I'm there?
All of my pokemon apart from my Quilava are under 20, and I'm finding it hard to train all of them.

    Bold = Generation 4

Lapras is 10455, alongside Dratini, Munch/Snorlax, Unown, Larvitar, Wailmer, Beldum, Bagon, Relicanth, Gible, Basculin, Axew, Deino and Larvesta are the highest that are breedable.

    Fun fact: Heatran's is 2800. :P

Does anyone know how I caught a a Ho-Oh with a normal Pokeball when an Ultra Ball a couple rounds earlier didn't?
Due to my very annoyingly long name, I will accept anything along the likes of pokemonmaster, pokemaster, pokemaster30, P3.0, 3.0, etc.

        Spoiler:- Records:

    Shall I restart my game?
I've just been looking at EV training and it says basically, I should start EV training as soon as I receive the Pokemon?
    OR
Shall I continue the game and just capture/trade NEW low level pokemon and EV train them?

    Opinions?

this all depends on the pokemon there isn't a set ammount of steps that apply to all pokemon.

You're EV training them as you go through the game? I've never done that. I figured I'd just drive myself crazy. The only time I worry about EV training is when I'm breeding someone specifically for the Battle Frontier or training a legend.

Anyway, considering only your Bellsprout, then the previous poster has the idea, go to Mt. Mortar. For EVs, theres Geodude, Machop and Rattata/Zubat, for 1 Def., Att. and Spd., respectively. The only S.Att. EVs I notice are on the Rt. to the left of the city; Magnemite give 1 EV.

I wouldn't recommend restarting. You can get some EV-reducing berries and change things up later on.

Any game Real or Fake will do if the DS is damaged.

I believe that "It's making sounds inside! It's going to hatch soon!" is 5 or fewer cycles to go (1280 steps or less), the next phase is 6 to 10 cycles (1281-2560 steps), and the "It doesn't seem close to hatching" is above 2560 steps or 10 cycles.

Can you breed a Cindaquil (evolved into a Quilava?) with a Ditto in HGSS?
