Anyone knows where you can get slowpoke's? Because when I'm running around in the SlowPoke Well, all I seem to get is Zubat
Haven't touched a Pokémon game in over a year. Played Pokémon White and that was it.
Generation 5 hater. I'll stick with the Gen 4.
Started playing Heart Gold again - as of june 24th, 2012. Currently SRing for a starter.
Lost all saves in every pokemon game. Except for White. Countless hours of shiny-hunting; gone. Over 30 shinies; gone.
Wish me luck on my quest for shiny Pokémon!
I want to become a YT-Gamer, any tips are welcome.
They're there, but they're a very low encounter rate.

You have to beat Clair before you can do the Kimono Girls event.

I was directed here to ask about what SRing is.
I asked in the wrong place at first, and they told me that it was pressing Start, Select, L and R simultaneously to start the game quicker (and then they linked me here). However, I first saw the term SR in the official shiny thread, and it confused me as to how pressing Start ect to start the game quick helps you get shinys.
The whole thing really confuses me ^_^;
Also, I was wondering:
1) How do I find out what my friend code is?
2) How do I add other people's friend codes?
3) What do I do after that? D:

Soft-resetting doesn't necessarily help you get shinies, it just increases speed of resetting for a Pokémon, so you get more chances is less time.
1. Go to the bottom floor of a Pokémon center. A lady (Teala) should give you a Pal Pad. If you try to connect to the internet then, she'll ask you if you want to do so to get your Friend Code. Connect to the Internet, and you'll get it.
2. You can add other Friend Codes once you have the Pal Pad. Or, if you battle/trade with someone IRL, you can add their Friend Code that way.
3. Having Friend Codes allows you to battle/trade with people via Wi-fi, assuming you have each others FCs.
Hope that helps.![]()

When you start the game, there should be a lot of options. Start game, migrate from GBA game, connect to PokeWalker, etc. There'll be an option that says to go into Mystery Gift. Click that and click the last option - you'll receive the current WiFi gift, free of charge, and it'll be sent to your game right away. This only works if you have WiFi, of course.
And..
Where's the guy that tells you how many eggs you hatched..? D:

There are Move Tutors that will teach it Fire Punch, and it learns Cross Chop at lvl 40. I'm not sure which tutors, it depends on what version you're playing, but they're around somewhere
Yuko: It's the other side around. You need to talk to Misty before Suicune shows up.
I don't get how nobody knows the answer to this. I'm surprised nobody even bothered checking the main site for information...
If you caught Suicune but never talked to Misty, then your game is seriously messed up.
As said there, you need to talk to Misty before Suicune appears.
I remember getting Safari Zone items before having the National Dex.
