Was just wondering if there was a non cheat device way of discovering my SID if i dont have any shiny pokemon?
Just wondering,
I have finished HeartGold many weeks ago and I am now playing SoulSilver. Everything went extremely well untill I got to the Whirl Islands to catch Lugia. When I entered the big waterfall where the Kimono girls are, my game suddenly froze at the scene where Lugia comes out of the waterfall, but the game's music still played normally though, just that I couldn't press anything, even the soft reset doesn't work. I had to turn my DSi off, and then on again, and the second time I watched Lugia's scene, everything was back to normal. (No freezing)
My question is, does this normally happen when your game freezes or is this an odd indication?
Thank you very much =)

No, You have to have a "cheat" device of some sort somewhere.
I know there are ways around some of the "Cheat" Detection systems. Your SID is always with the Pokémon you catch, trading one of your Pokémon away can help other people find your SID using a editor of some sort.
Occasionally, when to a poor connection to the cartage fails, the game runs out of data and just crashes. Just turn off the DS and start again.
On the site, it says that the dragons den guy gives you the dratini right after you get the eighth badge. I've gotten all sixteen and he has yet to give it to me. All he does is talk about lugia. I haven't beaten red, does that have anything to do with it? Am I just missing something?

I have a Griseous orb in Soul Silver, after getting an extra Giratina from the Arceus event. I tried trading the Giratina with the orb, but it just went back to my bag when I went to trade it. I assume the same will happen if I give the orb in my Platinum to a Giratina and trade it. Is there any way to trade Giratina with the orb, or am I screwed?

I follow Satoshi's Pokémon training philosophy; a combination of love and hard work is needed to overcome adversity. I don't breed for the best Pokémon, I don't dwell on natures, I don't care for perfect stats and I don't care for competitive standards. I treat my Pokémon as partners and friends while bringing out their best. Feel free to copy and paste this into your sig if you feel the same way. (Started by Emperor Empoleon)
What's the easiest/fastest way to earn Battle Points? The damn move tutors charge a ton of BP to teach moves. -_-
Also, are there NO strong wild Pokemon in this game? I checked Pokearth and it seems the highest levels you can find are like 48-50 in Mt.Silver. Even Cerulean Cave has Lv.40s! WTF? (I'm trying to train high-level Pokemon)

Just pick which part of the Battle Frontier you're best at and keep going through it.
That's Gold and Silver for you. Weak Pokemon all around. At least they leveled up the Elite Four after you beat them the first time. Also, are there NO strong wild Pokemon in this game?
