Also isn't there word that it won't have games per say, but DLC games? Or was that a different version of the PSP?

The media that the PSP2 uses has extra storage space on it to hold DLC, that's probably what you heard.

The PSP Go can only download games on PSN, which may also be what you were referring to.

$10 that part of the rating went to the price and the software lineup, as I have heard people slandering both (and yet, people are hoping that the PSP2 will sell for roughly the same... I honestly don't know what to think anymore :s).

Curious to see what Kotaku gives it...

I'd buy it... but first I want to see if BB:CS2 if going to be localized for perhaps April.

Then I'd probably have a decent incentive to buy it.

I'll get it for Zelda OOT alone, but you know they'll have pokemon on there by the end of 2013. Maybe not a new gen that soon, but who knows.

I would bet an Internet dollar or two that it'll be sooner than that; a spinoff/side title by the end of this year and a core title by the end of next year.

I was just being safe. If I said end of next year or this year someone would have said that was too soon. I agree anyway.

On a handheld? Probably not.

Granted, I don't think they'll ever due a true blue Pokémon title on a console, because they've said over and over that the games are on handhelds for a reason.

Preordered it only because I know I won''t have the money for it by the end of this year when it's it's (momentarily) in stock anywhere, nor through the beggening of 2012. Here's to hoping they might do a LoZ: Wind Waker port.

That just seems really bad things to critise. I didn't think that the 3DS itself was much bigger than the DS Lite/i.

Poor launch lineup? Poorly veiled excuse to give it a lower rating. I mean come on, they're coming out with a Animal Crossing game, 3 Mario games, Kid Icarus, Zelda, Star Fox, and a unknown Pokemon game, which will almost all be out within a year. Plus isn't like the first couple of months to a year considered the launch of a console?

Next IGN will be saying that Mario sucks cause he only rescues the Princess....

Kotaku did a size comparison of the DS fat / lite / dsi with the 3DS. It's pretty compact and only the slightest bit larger than the dsi, though still much smaller than the original/fat model.

Yup. They said the same 'we're working on a Pokemon game' right before the DS came out, and we got...Pokemon Dash.

I'm more hoping it WON'T be Ranger/Mystery Dungeon...and instead have a Trozei sequel...
