That only happens when you switch the brightness while on the 3DS. I don't know how to explain, but try changing the brightness to something lower, turn your 3DS off, then go back to your 3DS later. The lower brightness will seem normal for your eyes.

At least that's what works for me. Usually when I change the brightness and play straight away the game feels weird.

I do know what you mean. But I've been using 4-5 brightness for over a year now... I'll try it though.

I've for the most part kept my brightness on 3 without powersaving mode and 3D on maybe 85% of the time, lasts me a reasonable amount of time. Although if the battery is low sometimes I think "To hell with it" and kick the brightness up to maximum to fully enjoy the games details for that short period.

Damn, I realized I haven't played my 3DS properly in over a month. That's like the longest I haven't played it for. I guess I've been too busy playing MHP3rd on my PSP. But I doubt I'll be playing my 3DS properly until MH3G releases since I plan on getting a Wii U and what not and I need the money, and there aren't any games that I really want, other than MH3G.

Same, except for White 2 instead. Honestly, September probably has my least 3DS usage thus far. It is only about 5 hours. The most was in June 2012 with over 80 hours.

Once White 2 comes out, I'll be playing my 3DS a lot for several months, so I guess now is just the calm before the storm (also I don't even play it a lot during the week because of school).

Really? I've been cramming away at Virtual Console titles. Just beat Yoshi's Island the other day (with 100 on all levels), now for the extra levels...

I think I've been spoiled by current standards to fully enjoy the VC games. Don't get me wrong, I'm always down for a round of Mario or Pac-Man but I didn't do much 80's gaming in the 90's so those NES titles seem like nothing more than shovelware to me, games you'd only boot up when taking a ****.

The GBA titles are just not fun to me. I wish they would throw some more PS2 ports out to buy.

I did play Amazing Mirror earlier in the month, though I haven't done much with the Ambassador titles lately. Played a lot of Mario VS Donkey Kong earlier in the year.

I think the games are OK, but they're not something I'd play a lot of very frequently.

The VC games have done nothing for me. Honestly, there are very few GB/C games that have held up well enough for me to find pleasure in playing them. I'd never let go of my 3DS if Nintendo added a new GBA game every week, however.

I find myself playing 3DS more during the school week. i guess its due to taking it on the bus and playing in the cafe during lunch and in between classes.

I really am not playing properly myself. Achool and football is getting in the way of my shiny hunt and getting my VR up in MK7. It'll get much more play time towards the end of October when I'm more used to school and my season is nearly over.

Damnit I wish they'd bring Superstar Saga to the Virtual Console. I loved that game but I don't own it anymore, so I wanna be able to play it again

Same although this may be because I get bored of the main Pokemon games quite quickly and it's been over a year since one was out so I haven't played Pokemon much in that time. I plan to get Black 2 anyway.

Gen 5 was the gen that got me back into Pokemon. I thought for sure after HG/SS that I was growing out of it and it wasn't for me anymore. But I was wrong.
