I refuse to feel bad. It's too much of a hassle to turn it to it's native resolution

I don't think the pixelation is that terrible an issue so I don't bother with it : (

If you play 5th Generation Pokemon, the stretching actually helps with the Pixelated backsprites of the Pokemon, really, my only beef is the quieter sound.

I think most people would rather deal with some stretching in order to have the touch screen "buttons" all the way at the edge of the screen.

Actually, if you're talking about the buttons I think you are, you can actually touch the black borders around the screen and it registers as touching the very edge of the screen, so the buttons still work.

It's far worse than pixelation you guys, it's so damn blurry!

Thanks for the replies. Do 3DS games look better on the original 3DS or the XL (either with 3D on or off)?

Is the Dream Radar any easier/better on one than it is on the other?

They look better on the 3DS, but it's very hard to tell the difference. They look more impressive on the larger screens of the XL, though.

    It's all the same.

It's not as big of a deal as people playing GB/GBC games widescreen on a GBA, let it rest. You're wrong anyway.

Well, perhaps his had something different or a small glitch on it. I wouldn't go as far as to say he's wrong on the subject.

There were no glitches, nor am I wrong. I just have eyes, eyes that can see when something smudges together. Considering the amount of people who can't even tell when their computer's resolution is not set correctly I'm not surprised I'm in a minority here.

There's a difference between a computer screen and this. For one, a computer screen is huge, 3DS is not. Second, even at the wrong resolution, a computer's screen will still use the whole god damn screen. 3DS does not.

Alright, fine, then just look at a 3 inch square of your computer screen, the effect is the same.

That depends on how you have your GPU or monitor configured, aspect ratio scaling is a common thing that exists and is highly recommended.
