Sorry for sounding childish, but that's the whole truth for my decision.

In fact, I'm surprised they didn't let it get into the game judging Riolu and Lucario are still massively popular in Japan.

Actually, I'm in the same boat on this one. There's too few Pokémon in the game. I'll pick up a used copy at best.

I wasn't terribly interested in the first place. That being said, the Pokémon limitation doesn't help my enthusiasm any.
I do believe a few people will pass on this title because they won't be able to play as their Pokémon. It's one of the things that helped sell past MD games.

Yes, that's a factor, just like the choice of playable Pokémon is "one of the things that helped sell past MD games".


I'm currently undecided on whether I'll buy it. I'm not particularly excited for it anymore.

They always have good storylines, I don't see why this would be any different.

It needs to be exceptionally good, though. Even better than PMD Sky, because I'm honestly really iffed about this (lack of Pokémon).

Yes, since my parents don't let me buy "unnecessary" stuff like that. Some people don't have as much freedom as you guys do, you know.

Don't tell them you're buying DLC, duh. Just get an eShop card and spend some of it on the DLC and the rest on actual games.

"eShop card" and "actual games" are included in that list of "unnecessary stuff", unfortunately.

Well, maybe they'll let me get an eShop card for my birthday if I ask, provided that the new PMD gets released here soon enough... (It's Q1 2013 for Europe too, right?)

No, they're the kind of people who let me buy stuff I want whenever I want, no matter what the price, but only if they think it's not something pointless, etc.
