If you've done the requisite reading to answer that question and yet you're still undecided, then it's really all on you. Given that the 3DS does in fact do everything the DSi does (but better) and a few things it doesn't, I can't much see the point in not waiting for the 3DS if you don't already own a DSi.

Hmm. What does the 3DS have an advantage over the DSi? I'm just wondering because I am deciding to get a DS but I do not know whether I should wait for the 3DS or the DSi. I have read articles and compared the two, but I am still undecided ;P

Virtual boy. Parents got it for me (I was 4), it was a really bad system that I only touched once. That is why I am kinda skeptical over the 3DS because of the 3D part. But I'll probably get it, and if I don't like it return it ;P.

To compare the Virtual Boy to the 3DS is an insult. The two are opposites.

Yeah they are, like I said, old memories of the Virtual Boy makes me skeptical even though its been 15 years, technologies have improved, and the method that they use to create the 3D effect is different. Well enough about that.

What do you think about the rumor that that the 3DS is going to be released on 11/22/10 because of the fact that Gamestop added to their system that the 3DS will be released in NA on Nov 22 (Pre-orders supposedly start the 29th...hmm....)

The rumour is most likely true (although IIRC it was November 20th), because it was posted by an employee of Keys Factory (a company that makes accessories for the DS and Wii).

No, they are opposites. They use two completely different effects to achieve 3D. One makes your eyes bleed, the other does not.

Well tech never truly mattered to me I'm amazed what graphics they can pull off on such a small thing regardless of it's specs.

^I second that. Graphics are good, but remember, Pac-man was one of the most successful games ever, and it's graphics were very basic.

September 29th is followed by two days of inservice in my school's district that we have every year. Those two days off were the same days preorders could be taken for the Wii back in 2006. The November 22nd (or 20th?) release is looking really likely to me right now. I doubt the 29th is the day they'll start taking pre-orders though, but a day or two after it...maybe.

Hmm, very interesting. Two CPUs is a little surprising, and I'm curious what we'll be able to store. 1.5 Gigs is quite a bit more than they've allowed in the past.

Nov. 22 is the most probably release day, it seems. and It just makes sense, especially since its before the Christmas Season.

It's certainly possible. Although if such a service ever does arrive on 3DS, expect the same monopoly on prices for the old titles like the Wii's Virtual Console.
