From what I've heard it depends on the store you go to and how nice the person serving you is. Keep searching around though and eventually someone will let you do it.

I highly doubt it, considering you have to connect to the internet to do so, not to mention you'd have to have both of them on YOU at the same time, meaning you could just run away with both of them.

Well, I just beat Rhythm Thief.

I don't think the clear cases have the same charm they used to, not for me anyway. Maybe it's because I'm just too familiar with the innards of electronics now.

Finally got two stars in MK7.

In FE:SS, at the end of the "It's a Trap", Stage Eight, how do you kill Lord Tirado? All of my units did minor damage. I tried slowly killing with stuff like Niemi, the archer, but I didn't know Lord Tirado had a ranged attack, so Niemi died and I had to restart.

Your units are probably under-levelled. Since Tirado is a General you should use a Magic user that can survive at least two turns, with a healer to heal them each time it's your turn. Or, rather than attacking during your turn you can simply heal and rely on him attacking you during his turn to take him out, as long as the HP he recovers from being on the end point doesn't outweigh the damage you do to him.

And just to clarify, that chapter is one of the few that locks you out from going to the World Map till you clear them.

If you got the hammer from the chapter with the fog and spider it's a useful gamble with garcia.

I personally use Ephraims Reignleif(sp?) don't attack on player phase, etc.
If you have decent level magic users, use them too.
