I like the look of it myself. I'd use it as my main handheld if they come out with a CPP for it.

I'm guessing it's intended towards children. If you think about it, they kids to upgrade from they're DS's to the 3DS but parents will be cautious about 3D effects (None on the 2DS, obviously), also another point, without hinges it will be more durable, especially to kids who might hit and throw it around a bit, the flat design might help it stay intact.

I probably won't end up getting it, I'm doing pretty good with my 3DS. ^__^
The most Superior Snivy. Left, good time here though. I loved this place.

Yeah, but also depending on the cost the 2DS may be for those who couldn't afford a 3ds but want to play the games.

    -Uh oh.

So everyone knows that Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is coming over to the West...and that Japan is getting an enhanced version called Bravely Default: For The Sequel which has improved mechanics, faster battles, enhanced resolution, and multiple language option?

It's confirmed that the West is getting the enhanced version instead of the Vanilla version.

So we're basically getting the International version instead?

Finally, SE steps its game up.

It's still kind of silly that Japan gets the "international" version before the actual international version comes out.

Why couldn't this of happened to Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 with getting the Pro version instead?

Well, we're getting a Pokémon Direct tomorrow. I couldn't find an appropriate place to put this in the X & Y board, so this place will have to do.

Here are the date links for NA, Europe, and Japan:

    NA - 4am PST

    Europe - 1pm CEST

    Japan - 8pm JST

Only die-hard fans wake up at freakin' 4am in the morning for the latest Nintendo news.

Midday? I might actually skip fourth period to see it, given the connection at my school doesn't constantly play up like it usually does. The live feed Nintendo uses is never really great, even at home anyway.

You would think NDs would be AFTER school hours or at least on weekends. I mean Nintendo is known for kiddy games so why hold these things when were in school?!

But Nintendo games are aimed at the 7 and under crowd right? I mean NDs can't be aimed at parents to buy the kids the games due to parents working.
