Yeah, picking up old games. Finally got all 120 Shine Sprites in Super Mario Sunshine! Ugh...umm...back to topic.

Just a heads up, there will be Wi-Fi maintenance from later today to tomorrow.

I don't think the MH demo really gives a proper feel of the game's difficulty, as the provided equipment is considerably better then anything you'd actually be capable of having the first time you go up against those monsters (Seems to be high rank gear against low rank monsters, judging from numerous factors, such as the sharpness on the melee weapons, damage the monsters deal/amount of HP they have, and most obviously to me, the pink Rathian heavy bowgun).

I guess people who really enjoyed the demo will be willing to overcome the hurdle of being subjected to one or two hit KOs when they go up against certain monsters, though (The Plesioth's water beam is a chief offender in this regard).

It's my first time playing Monster Hunter for the record, and I'm surprised all the different behaviours they give to the large monsters.
SnS is the worst weapon type, you should never use it. If you're a beginner, start with Longsword.

What gave it away for me is that the GS user had full Azure Rathalos. But they've 'balanced' it with the 20 minute time limit as opposed to the usual 50.

As for Plesioth, good to see its hipcheck is still broken.

Huh, Luigi's Mansion 2 apparently has 5 mansions. I wonder what the 5th hidden one is. I'm still hoping its some sort of throwback to the original mansion if not the best grade ending mansion. I also love how they're giving the game a more concrete setting and its own little canon. Makes me hopeful for more entries in the series.

Year of Luigi? I hadn't a clue about that, I've got to get more into the loop of these aspects of Nintendo! It's good to see Luigi get focus compared to his more known and popular brother. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team looks fun. I really enjoyed the Mario RPG games so I'm looking forward to it, though the last one was a bit meh to me compared to the last two. The first one especially was really good. I'll probably get Dark Moon too, can't wait. I'm also interested in this Year of Luigi aspect, how much further will Luigi get top billing throughout the year? Given this is also the year of the serpent. I still have yet to get a Wii U and play Paper Mario:Sticker Star when it comes to Mario Bros. games. I'm usually not influenced by the opinions of others heavily but SS seems way too underwhelming and enjoyable a game to justify me asking my mother to buy it for me.

It'd be neat if it was Luigi's house that you see in the intro, but taken over by King Boo

I hope they add other DLC to other games for him or something though, two games doesn't really make it seem like the year is about him. Luigi U doesn't seem like it'd be different enough than playing Mario(although I hope I'm wrong and they adjust him properly) and can we really say Mario Golf is about Luigi? I'm looking for to Mansion 2 next month though and the next M&L game though.

Sticker Star is a good game I'll give you that, it just lacks some things that really would have made it that more enjoyable. One thing I particularly disliked is not leveling up, that made the battles feel extremely tedious at times. I mean getting stickers was good and all, but usually what you found didn't really make it seem as worth it to go through the hassle the battles brought.

It was also a bit annoying at having the huge, object stickers(which were really good for boss fights and you needed some to access things) harder to find again, or maybe that was just me...and you also needed them to complete the sticker museum.

The humor, etc. like past games was still there though and that made it enjoyable.

Luigi is awesome. The best mario brother :P I won't have the money top pick up Dark Moon right away(Fire Emblem ) but it looks pretty good. The new Mario and Luigi RPG looks neat to

That's exactly why I can't play Sticker Star. I tried again the other day(after three months of not caring), and made progress even, but battles are so STUPID. I have a full book of stickers, so I don't want to battle. It's an RPG, I'm supposed to battle. Now I need to waste coins(not like I'm short on them, but using them for a battle I don't need is wasting) to waste multiple stickers to beat a few regular enemies who will still manage a hit or two, and look, now I'm down health and all I have to show for it are two LESS stickers and a slowly-fading patched-up hammer sticker that is worthless to me. Boy. What a delight.

Same here. The music is amazing, the humour is amazing, and the graphics are pretty neat as well, but those alone certainly aren't enough to make a great game. At least I got a free sticker book out of it.

I'm thinking about getting the new Fire Emblem when it comes out. The fact that it comes out three days after my birthday helps as well. Still, I haven't played any of the previous games in the series, so my question is, is playing Awakening first a good way to get in to the series?

Thirding that Sticker Star sucks. If anyone is contemplating buying it, don't.

Normally, I might be inclined to post something different. But unless the UK is drastically different from NA, it's pretty much impossible to find any Fire Emblem games for anything resembling a fair price, so I say that it's as good a point as any. There's no reason not to start with Awakening that I'm aware of, anywho (i.e., it's not directly related to any past games, etc.). Not to mention, it's supposed to be one of the best in what is a very good series of games.

I tried out the demo, being a person who sucks at strategy games, and fell in love with it pretty quickly. I can spend my time sucking in Baby Mode, I'm getting it.

Awakening is a good place to start, it's very forgiving, what with the Casual option and it has a lot of different ways to level up your characters outside of the main story so if you're having trouble you can even the playing field.

I decided against it when I found out about the sticker mechanic, in all "rpg's I have a serious case of "i might need it later" syndrome

I have been having the most annoying problem with my 3DS. It drops connection in the middle of downloads and gives me error 009-2913. It's kind of ridiculous, and makes downloading DLC sort of impossible. Any suggestions?
I have claimed Joltik. Deal with it.

You're getting streetpasses at a farmer's market. That's proof enough.

It's a shame really because I really loved TTYD, it seems like Sticker Star was a huge flop.

This is apparently a list of games from Nintendo of Spain to be localized in 2013, and its on it. So far everything has come true, with only 3-4 exceptions. Man I do hope this all is true, E.X Troopers looked really fun.
