Not surprising, this model is really old, so it makes more sense to offer repair services for the more recent ones.

During the DS era, in which year of the handheld, did Nintendo no longer offer repair services for the original DS? Perhaps we can deduce how long the 3DS will be alive from that.

Well, of course. It's been six years since the original model first launched. More people probably have upgraded versions over the original. Those who still have the original and not want to upgrade, then they're out of luck.

It's unlikely that there's any correlation, or at least enough of one to draw any conclusions. Particularly given the different number of variations of the respective hardware, to say nothing of countless other factors.

I mean, Nintedno only stopped offering NES repairs in 2007, so there is probably no correlation like BCVM22 said.

    I only have the original...

Years and years, there's no worry of it degrading to the point of failure, it's barely getting used.

Arcade Bunny will lose his job at the Nintendo Badge Arcade after May 26th in Japan.

Though the arcade will most likely continue in the West, since it's been in Japan even longer.

I never got the school uniform Isabelle badge.

It's been teasing me in the title screen. I never see it when I launch this game.

Not quite. It'll still be active, but there won't be any new badges because they have reached the limit in terms of save data.

Yeah. I'm some what disapointed that it's stopped, but since It's technical reasons based on choices over 6 years ago, I'm not super upset.

Say, I'm having a bit of a technical problem with my New 3DS XL. The battery dries out faster than it should. Should I replace the battery?

    Lower the brightness.

Turn off the Wi-Fi for games that don't need it.

If the battery still drains out fast, then yeah.
