Default What a ghastly battle. [UU]

Yo CRMT, this is my first warstory. I feel it's an ok match, but the finish is what makes it pro. Here's my team in:

    (I'm TEA_DEMON btw)
    Onto the match!
TEA_DEMON's moves will look like this.
TEA_DEMON's comments will look like this.
Head Strong's moves will look like this.
other text will look like this.
    Leftovers will be removed.
    Nicknames will be removed.
    Sandstorm/hail damage will be removed.
Scores will be shown after each KO.

Rules: Ladder Match, Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Evasion Clause, Species Clause, Strict Damage Clause
TEA_DEMON sent out Froslass (lvl 100 Froslass ?).
Head Strong sent out Lopunny (lvl 100 Lopunny ?).

Ok I know Lopunny leads tend to Trick a scarf and proceed to set up to Baton Pass, so I decided to just Spike up in its face, like Froslass does best. Good way to start the match.

    Froslass used Spikes.
Spikes were scattered around the foe's team!
    Lopunny used Substitute.
Lopunny lost 25% of its health.
    Lopunny made a substitute!

A sub, didn't expect that. Oh well, 3 layers of Spikes for me. Not complaining there.

    Froslass used Spikes.
Spikes were scattered around the foe's team!
    Lopunny used Switcheroo.
    Lopunny obtained Focus Sash!
    Froslass obtained Choice Scarf!

There's the Trick I've been waiting for, and I don't really mind because Froslass will be a good revenge killer later on. My Froslass is Ice Shard/Spikes/Shadow Ball/Thunderbolt, so it can actually hurt stuff. Still, more Spikes.

    Froslass used Spikes.
Spikes were scattered around the foe's team!
    Lopunny used Agility.
    Lopunny's speed was sharply raised.

Agility confirms that this is standard Baton Pass Lopunny, so I feel it will pas out next turn. I'll switch in Altaria so I can see what happens, since Altaria is my phazer.

TEA_DEMON switched in Altaria (lvl 100 Altaria ?).
    Lopunny used Baton Pass.
Head Strong switched in Nidoking (lvl 100 Nidoking ?).
    Nidoking was hurt by Spikes!
Nidoking lost 25% of its health.

Nidoking as an Agility recipient? I was expecting something to set up Ingrain or Mr. Mime. Oh well, I have no idea what set it is so I'll just Roar it to null its boosts and Subs.

    Nidoking used Ice Beam.
    It's super effective!
Altaria lost 100% of its health.
    TEA_DEMON's Altaria fainted.
    (5-6)

Ok didn't see that coming. My foe gets first blood and I can assume that this Nidoking is an all special variant. I decide to go to Weezing since I just want to get rid of that sub so something else can finish it off.

TEA_DEMON switched in Weezing (lvl 100 Weezing ?).
    Nidoking used Thunderbolt.
Weezing lost 49% of its health.
    Weezing used Flamethrower.
The substitute took damage for Nidoking!
    Nidoking's substitute faded!

Sub is gone, goodie. I took hefty damage, but killing this Nidoking is priority atm. I Flamethrower again to try and get the kill.

Head Strong switched in Houndoom (lvl 100 Houndoom ?).
    Houndoom was hurt by Spikes!
Houndoom lost 25% of its health.
    Weezing used Flamethrower.
Houndoom's Flash Fire raised its fire power!

Ah. This is not good. Assuming this is NPDoom, I could be screwed right here and now. I decide to go to Feraligatr as it can threaten it with STAB Waterfall, but +2 STAB Dark Pulse will hurt.

TEA_DEMON switched in Feraligatr (lvl 100 Feraligatr ?).
    Houndoom used Nasty Plot.
Houndoom's special attack was sharply raised.

    Yeah bye Feraligatr.

    Houndoom used Dark Pulse.
Feraligatr lost 100% of its health.
    TEA_DEMON's Feraligatr fainted.
    (4-6)
Houndoom lost 10% of its health.

Ok now that it's weakened somewhat I need to get rid of it before it kills too much. I decide to go to that scarfed Froslass I received to see how much I can do with Thunderbolt. If I do enough, another round of LO recoil it may die.

TEA_DEMON switched in Froslass (lvl 100 Froslass ?).
    Froslass used Thunderbolt.
Houndoom lost 31% of its health.
    Houndoom used Flamethrower.
    It's super effective!
Froslass lost 100% of its health.
    TEA_DEMON's Froslass fainted.
    (3-6)
Houndoom lost 10% of its health.

Damn, not quite enough. I figure that's pretty much game there as I panic and forget that Mismagius outspeeds it, so I go to Registeel in the feeble hope of living a +2 Flash Fire boosted STAB super effective Fire Blast. =/

TEA_DEMON switched in Registeel (lvl 100 Registeel).
    Houndoom used Flamethrower.
    It's super effective!
Registeel lost 100% of its health.
    TEA_DEMON's Registeel fainted.
    (2-6)
Houndoom lost 10% of its health.

    Yeah not likely.

TEA_DEMON switched in Weezing (lvl 100 Weezing ?).
    Houndoom used Flamethrower.
Weezing lost 63% of its health.
    TEA_DEMON's Weezing fainted.
    (1-6)
Houndoom lost 10% of its health.

Weezing is my next sacrifice. That LO recoil is adding up though...

TEA_DEMON switched in Mismagius (lvl 100 Mismagius ?).
    Mismagius used Thunderbolt.
Houndoom lost 4% of its health.
    Head Strong's Houndoom fainted.
    (1-5)
Mismagius lost 10% of its health.

This is where I remember that Missy outspeeds Houndoom. Luckily I'm using an offensive Mismagius rather than my usual Taunt WoW variant (which I think is slower, don't remember). At least now that Houndoom is dead.

Head Strong switched in Wigglytuff (lvl 100 Wigglytuff ?).

Ok, Wigglytuff. This is setup fodder for Mismagius, which is very good. My Missy is Taunt NP Missy, which means I can Taunt it and force the switch to set up a NP. I assume SToss is its only attacking option, and getting a NP is my only chance of victory, so I go for it.

    Wigglytuff was hurt by Spikes!
Wigglytuff lost 25% of its health.
    Mismagius used Taunt.
    Wigglytuff fell for the taunt!
    Wigglytuff used Light Screen.
Wigglytuff can't use Light Screen after the taunt!

Damn I am glad I have Taunt rather than Sub, because that would be gg right there. Very luckily no screen is up, and I predict a switch so I can set up a NP. Excellent.

Head Strong switched in Rotom (lvl 100 Rotom).
    Mismagius used Nasty Plot.
Mismagius's special attack was sharply raised.

I sorta crap myself here as I think the Rotom could be scarfed. Regardless, I have to attack with Shadow Ball since it's my only chance of victory. OHKO pl0x?

    Mismagius used Shadow Ball.
    It's super effective!
Rotom lost 100% of its health.
    Head Strong's Rotom fainted.
    (1-4)
Mismagius lost 10% of its health.
    ---
Head Strong switched in Tangrowth (lvl 100 Tangrowth ?).

Yessssss. Now I know Tangrowth has pathetic 50 base SpD, so I just go for the Shadow Ball again in hope of OHKOing. No need to worry about Taunting here methinks.

    Tangrowth was hurt by Spikes!
Tangrowth lost 25% of its health.
    Mismagius used Shadow Ball.
Tangrowth lost 75% of its health.
    Head Strong's Tangrowth fainted.
    (1-3)
Mismagius lost 10% of its health.
    ---
Head Strong switched in Nidoking (lvl 100 Nidoking ?).

OHKO'd Tangrowth too, excellent. Now here comes that bloody Nidoking again which got rid of Altaria earlier. Time to die to a Shadow Ball you bastard.

    Nidoking was hurt by Spikes!
Nidoking lost 25% of its health.
    Mismagius used Shadow Ball.
Nidoking lost 50% of its health.
    Head Strong's Nidoking fainted.
    (1-2)
Mismagius lost 10% of its health.
    ---
Head Strong switched in Lopunny (lvl 100 Lopunny ?).

Gone, gone, got 'em! I think the fact that it switched into Spikes twice may have saved me there but I can't be sure. Now, Lopunny comes in, and since I run Thunderbolt as my secondary attack I worry a touch as to whether I can OHKO. Oh well, I have to attack at this stage.

    Lopunny was hurt by Spikes!
Lopunny lost 25% of its health.
    Mismagius used Thunderbolt.
Lopunny lost 50% of its health.
    Head Strong's Lopunny fainted.
    (1-1)
Mismagius lost 10% of its health.

Gone, excellent. Now it's just Wigglytuff between me and victory, I hope I can KO with Thunderbolt. Also why not use Clefable? =/

Head Strong switched in Wigglytuff (lvl 100 Wigglytuff ?).
    Wigglytuff was hurt by Spikes!
Wigglytuff lost 25% of its health.
    Mismagius used Thunderbolt.
Wigglytuff lost 56% of its health.
    Head Strong's Wigglytuff fainted.
    (1-0)
    TEA_DEMON wins!
    Head Strong: gg
    TEA_DEMON: gg

Missy has too much strongth for Wigglytuff and I take the match. What a sweep.

    Props:
    - Froslass for setting up three layers of Spikes which proved to be very crucial.
    - Houndoom screwing me over early on.
    - Lopunny for doing what it does best (Baton Passing)
    - Mismagius for, I dunno, netting all six kills?
    - No hax was very good.

    Slops:
    - Me for not realizing Missy outspeeds Houndoom earlier on.
    - My opponent for using Wigglytuff rather than Clefable.

With the title, I expected it to be a LC battle where ghastly pulls off a huge sweep.

I claim Zoroark <insert poorly drawn pokemon animation here>

Delibird is the beastliest, and will have a spot on my UU team even if it is NU.

Nice comeback! However, the battle itself was rather average and less skilled with mistakes and you should have thought of missy probably beforehand.
Start playing ubers, not OU. Serebii needs more ubers players!

Incredible, and incredibly lucky..if by chance he was running Sucker Punch at all and you'd be done...but great match, I was impressed by the special Nidoking.

Maybe Miss should have come out earlier, but other than that, a great comeback.
