Game Name: Pokemon Ranger Quest!
Game Owner: ansem the wise
Approved/Disapproved: Disapproved. This is pretty scant on details and organization, particularly in the ranger war part. What's more... I'm not entirely sure what the object of this game is, for both the missions and the wars. If the object of the mission is, as in your example, just to knock out the tree's HP as a group... then there's no real "winner" in this scenario. If the object is to be the person that strikes the finishing blow, and therefore K.O. the tree, then it's very unlikely that anyone will go first, since they only get a chance to hit their target once. Casting attack by PM could, theoretically, solve that problem if the latter is the case, but you don't mention any of that. And what's more... even if that's "winning" it's hard to say what winning actually means in the context of this game. The ranger wars are an even bigger cause of confusion because they don't seem related to the mission concept at all. You don't get into how the fight would be organized or how damage would be calculated--which would be important things to know. But more than that... what, again, does it mean to be on the winning team? Do the losers get eliminated? Do the winners get something for winning? How does this relate to the missions?

Approved/Disapproved: Disapproved. I'd like to see a whole lot more organization in the first post (rules + examples + winners' listing). But the main problem here is that games like this don't have a heck of a long shelf-life if it's just one person putting out these descriptions.

Game Name: Achievement Unlocked!
Game Owner: TouyaBlack
Approved/Disapproved: Disapproved. I feel like it's all much too open-ended. I wouldn't mind seeing something along these lines if it had more structure and limitations... not to mention some level of interaction to make it more of an actual game would be nice. The only interaction I can see coming out of this right now is it turning into a chat thread... and that's not the kind of interaction we want here.

Game Name: pokemon family feud!
Game Owner: ansem the wise
Approved/Disapproved: Disapproved. I'm concerned about you relying on people not actually playing the game to make up your statistics. I mean, if you don't get many responses then you won't have a big variety of answers or patterns to make this game workable. For example, what if only three people answered your question "What is your favorite dark type?" and they all gave different answers? Then there's not really much of a "most common" answer to guess. I think you need 1. A group of people who are designated "survey answerers" i.e. they're not playing in one of the families, their sole responsibility is answering the survey questions (they can be shuffled into the families in later rounds so that people are taking turns in these roles). 2. There needs to be a specified minimum number of respondants to the survey before you'll ask the question (like, "15 people need to respond to this question before it'll go up before the families" or something like that).

Game Name: Pokemon Family Feud!
Game Owner: ansem the wise
Approved/Disapproved: Disapproved. I'm concerned about this idea of you just going around VMing people for survey information for two reasons. 1. Obviously that's public communication so anyone playing along can just follow the answer's you're getting to get a correct answer. and 2. It's one thing to VM/PM people if they sign up to answer your survey, but another thing if they didn't sign up for any such thing. People might find being badgered with questions they never agreed to answer annoying, and it could cross the line with forum rules about sending unsolicited messages.

Game Name: Rate the drawing above you!
Game Owner: solpokemonfan
Approved/Disapproved: Disapproved. This could work, but it needs more rules and information so everyone knows where they stand before they post something. What level of drawing is expected here? Just a doodle or a full-scale finished piece? Are digital works allowed or only traditional? What level of criticism will be provided here? Is it going to be heavy criticism so artists can brace themselves for a negative response and beginning artists might not feel welcome? Or is it going to be light and friendly so that professionals might not feel welcome? How much commentary should be provided? There should be rules concerning art theft as well.
