Wow. Talk about an episode comeback. I wasn't really liking it, until the last 5 minutes or so. Then it was hilarious.

Jessie lifting Purugly's tail, and the fat coming out, and Purugly kicking sand at Meowth literally had me laughing. Also, Ash not getting it was funny. It's actually a pretty good reaccuring gag.

Pokemon is promoting shallowness! 8/10.

Before I give my critique of this episode, I got a couple comments. Initially, I felt like this episode was a pointless filler when I first saw the Japanese title "Goodbye Team Rocket" since they NEVER dispatch. It also got me thinking that I miss one of the most awesome characters in the anime; the Magikarp Salesman. I hope they bring him back one day.

This episode was good. Meowth's idea for Glameow's use with Giovanni was hilarious as usual.Meowth calling a pokemon out of a pokeball was a first. I was quite surprised that Meowth fought against TR andAsh's pokemon.

LOVED Meouth being all im gonna fight for my girl and being all strong then Glamerow evolved and was all bad *** LOL. Also loved Meouth actually being nice for once and loved his message to Team Rocket. I also liked the character of the day as well although I felt it a bit strange as they were out of the way to face crasher wake why they would pick him first even though she lost. Oh and Ash being clueless= priceless

It was an ok episode. It was kinda funny when Meowth was wondering what happened to Glameow when it evolved into Purugly.

Before I saw this episode I actually thought that was the end of team rocket with Meowth leaving also because the season is going to end soon..... but I guess as long as Ash stays Team Rocket stays

Have there been other times we've actually seen Jessie re-call Wobbuffet to it's Pokeball before?
If there has, then this has to be the first time I've ever seen it happen before.

At the end, when the girls (what was her name again? Mimi?) said that she'll use Puruglys Hyper beam in the Pastoria Gym, I was thinking "just remember, You only get 5 chances, if your lucky". (You know, Hyper beams PP?)
And, yes I know, anime =/= games. It was just a thought I had at the time.

This episode was ok and very weird... It was weird how Meowth fell in love with a Glameow, and had to do everything Glameow says. I'm surprised Meowth was willing to do everything for her. Meowth's reaction when Glameow evolved into Purugly was very funny. It was cool that Purugly blasted TR off with its new Hyper Beam attack. It was odd how Meowth was being treated like a kidnapper when actually Meowth and Glameow were going off as lovers.

The end of this episode is what saved it from being a total drag. It was mainly boring for most of it but the Purugly part was pretty funny. Meowth episodes are actually not that enjoyable for me since I don't like his character very much. Anyway, Mamie was a pretty cool character on her own and I liked her character design.

I liked this episode. I like the episodes where Meowth falls in love (including the Chronicles episode and The Problem with Paris), they're a treat. I liked the final conclusion with glameow evolving and Meowth getting cold feet. LOL Jessie fiddling with purugly's tail was funny too. My only real complaint is that the episode is a little too similar to I Feel Skitty minus the evolution. At least the purrloin episode of the following season was *really* different.

I also find it interesting that Team Rocket tried the same twerp trap they set up in season three's The Whistle Stop, the trapdoor + cage under the bridge, and actually succeeded this time.

Oops, I forgot, I also loved Meowth's fury swipes of love.

Cute episode - one of the better filler out there. Meowth is totally superficial! Falling out of love just because Glameow evolved. Mamie (sp?) was really cute. I don't really like Meowth-centric episodes all that much, but this was a good one.

That moment when you realize that this episode has Torterra's only 1 vs 1 win. Followed by that moment when you realize that Torterra got a 1 vs 1 win. Further followed by that moment when you realize that it's against Jessie thus no one takes it into account ever and just says that Torterra got no wins as a Torterra. *Okay-meme*
