You're welcome. I was actually thinking the same thing, that it could be taken as a sign of endearment. Compared to when she says it to someone like Georgia or Trip, she sounds quite annoyed, but with Ash it's more often just her way of messing with him.

That would be really cute and sweet, one of my favorite moments in the anime if it happened. And then Cilan talks about them having a nice flavor or recipe or whatever he talks about when evaluating people.

Oh haha Ash's face is priceless in that XD. It kinda looks like she's playfully hugging him in front of the camera to embarrass him lol. Either that or she's enjoying the hug lol

That's a cute picture too, especially with Ash's embarrased face. I really wanted Luke to film something like that in the anime. I thought it was still nice that Ash was the knight and Iris was the princess in his movie.

Personally, I see Iris making the first move. She'd probably get fed up with him or something and just blurt it out. She seems to think of love like a battle and thinks the direct approach is the best way.

Anyways, Iris admitting her feelings is a pretty likely happening. After all, she is more agressive in that aspect, and Ash is apperently a little dense in that matter. But she would probably be eating something beforehand of course; romance makes our future Dragon Master hungry ^^'.

There's a possibility that Ash may admit his feelings first, though. After he learns more about romance and whatnot. Ash might be more likely to let it slip on accident, though. That's something I'm sure we all want to see.

Okay time for my take on the episode. Nothing big happened, but there were a few nice moments from Ash and Iris in the episode, notably that Ash is concerned about Iris and Dragonite. Iris continues to try to get through to it, with little results, but she makes it back to see Ash's battles. Other than that not much, except for Iris holding Pikachu again and the two of them being psyched about their battle.

Ash notices Iris has something on her mind. Iris is feeling uneasy about using Dragonite again.



Iris goes off to talk with Dragonite and try to get it to listen to her.





Ash wins a battle and has his personal cheering squad. Like how Iris is holding Pikachu ^^


Dawn vs Iris, which side are you on? XD



Ash is concerned when Dragonite again refuses to listen to Iris.


Iris manages to win somehow. Poor Piplup XD


The semifinals are set. Rematches of the Club Battle Tournament, Trip vs Cilan and Ash vs Iris.




Ash and Iris are excited about getting to battle each other once again.

Yeah I liked that too, I thought it was nice that both Iris and Dawn were holding Pikachu and Piplup the same way. And I knew you'd choose Dawn :P
I was kinda surprised myself that Ash was so concerned about Iris, I figured he'd be too distracted by all the Trip and Alder and battling going on XD

I agree with thedehydrator. I like how Ash is concerned about Iris, and how it looks like he wanted to stop her on one of the pics. They got a very small bonding scene, but at least it's something. :3

Seeing Iris hold Pikachu again is very cute and adorable. x3 It would've been even better if Ash held Axew for Iris, but that's too much to ask for....
I love how Dawn and Iris just gave Cilan their Pokemon. xD

Ahh it's been so long since I last posted on this thread!!! I dunno if anyone knows this writer yet but her Best Wishes drabbles are really good and mostly feature Negaishipping here is the link if anyone wants to read them ^^
