While these two pages are focused more on N and Satoshi's relationship, I think Iris and Dent look ridiculously cute in that large bottom picture of the current travelling party. Notice how Kibago's climbing onto Dent's leg too? ;3;

That was the first time I had ever seen that picture, and I thought the way that Axew (I apologize for using the English names...it's not that I'm not used to using the Japanese names, it's just that I'm used to the English names and I only grew up with the dub [outside of the internet, that is]) had his paws (?) on Cilan's leg was so cute. It almost looked like to me that he was going to pull himself up onto his leg so he could better interact in the conversation going on with Pikachu, Ash, and N. And, Iris is just all smiles at watching Axew climb up onto Cilan's leg because she thinks their interaction is cute (of course, that analysis might be because I might be reading a bit too much into the image...).

He seems really...interested in Pikachu (not sure if it's in a good way yet...). In the first image, it's as if Iris accidentally ran into him and knocked him over and then landed in the nice, awkward position you see, and then she starts profusely apologizing for landing in Cilan's lap, but it doesn't seem as if she wants to make any efforts to get off of him anytime soon...and by the way she's blushing, I'd say she rather likes their nice, awkward position. The second image is cute and it outlines their worst fears which leads to an awkward silence between them because neither of them want to say anything that would or could hurt the other's feelings. They both are blushing rather hard, but it's rather hard to judge the reason why. If I had to take a guess, I'd say they're both blushing out of nervousness. They both seem rather nervous about holding onto each other's fears (and that's all I have for an analysis...). Outside of an analysis, I really liked the two images. They both were really sweet moments between the two (now if only we could get some more in the show...)

Oh oh! I saw that on tumblr. X3 I loved how Kibago was on Dento's leg trying to get a better look at things. XD I remember on tumblr I was going to write in the tag something about Wishful lol. I get a kick out of how that magazine "ships" N and Ash. It's only fitting they'd also "ship" the leftovers I mean Dento and Iris.

How do you think Dent would react to Iris becoming the new Gym Leader of Opelucid City?
Well, it would sorta depend on the conditions. if Iris had to quit the journey to become the Gym Leader, Dent would probably find a way to be around her. (Gym Leader lessons. 'Nuff said) If the journey with Ash was over, he would be really happy for her. (And he would probably go to Opelucid like once a week to make sure how she's doing... STALKER DENT!)
Yeah... So I've got nothing else to say except that ZOMG THE ORANGE ISLAMDS BUT WITH DENT AND IRIS IS COMING UP!!!!! YAHOOO! Alright, my parents are about ready to kill me, so I need to go to bed. GOODNIGHT AND HAVE WISHFUL DREAMS!!!!

How do you think Dent would react to Iris becoming the new Gym Leader of Opelucid City?

I imagine him being very happy for her as always. He might try to give her a few ~fabulous~ pointers but she'd probably say that she wouldn't need it which would put him into his pit of woe. :3

I think he'd be happy for her and I have a feeling that he knows she'd do a great job, even at such a young age. Even with his belief in science and not faith, I think he has a lot of faith in her and he would know first hand at how much goes into being a Gym Leader, so he has all the faith in the world in her that she can do a great job. (I hope everyone can follow that...I was trying to think everything out and then I kinda lost where I was going and then found it again, and...yeah...)

I want to draw shippy art but I'm at a loss at what scenarios. I can't promise it'll be perfect (anatomy/positions are difficult) but I'll do my best. ^^

This is a tricky one. I don't watch the anime, but I have a feeling from the game universe and from the cute anime caps I've seen that I can imagine Iris being a vegetarian. Because she loves dragons so much and because her dialogue in BW2 makes her sound so regal. I think she behaves like a total princess. I don't think Iris would eat meat because I don't think she would bring herself to eat a living creature because I think she's the kind of person who would say meat is murder. I might be wrong, she might have even eaten meat in the anime. I think Iris would be a traditional person. I heard in the anime she actually came from Blackthorn City. Because of this, I think that Cilan would make her a curry that she'll love and I think he'll make it spicy and sweet. But knowing Cilan he could make a whole picnic and feast for her and him. As for Iris, I think she'll make Cilan some cookies, each shaped as pokemon.

Knowing Iris, she could settle for a dish involving noodles with various handpicked fruits or vegetables. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that she came up with a special recipe of her own while training with Axew and Dragonite. Cilan I’d peg as the more elaborate cook given his preference for flamboyance. He could include a few cupcakes alongside his regular dish, which could include rice, nuts, or bread. It might not need to be a particularly dramatic occasion for Cilan and Iris to have fun with their new meal.

Pancakes. They would both make pancakes. It would be like a teamwork sort of thing. Iris would make the actual pancakes, and Cilan would decorate them with a lovely side of berries and whipped cream. Then they would share it while watching the sun set over the Unova region.

Well, symbolically, considering that Iris mentioned that before she met Cilan she mostly ate fresh food straight off the land. I think he would cook her some nice apples. I know it doesn't seem like much, but either baked apples or caramelized apples would also suffice. As for Iris cooking something for Cilan, well, he's refined and named for a spice, cilantro (which has absolutely nothing to do with my answer to this question), and he's very much into the grass type. That being said, it's difficult for me to think of something she could make for him that wouldn't sound stupid, like plants or stuff like that...

I notice Dento and Iris finish each other's sentences a lot. Was that common with others on the main cast too?






I always like how Iris looks at Dento in the eyes. I think there was another instance in this epi but I didn't get a good picture of it.

Hmm I imagine Dento making Iris something with noodles with some fruit on the side. He'd probably go over the top with it. As for Iris it is a bit tougher, because I don't think her cooking skills are up to par. XD; But I imagine her making Dento something simple and sweet, like cookies or fruit chopped up and arranged in a close-to-tidy-fashion. Maybe she'd go to a candy store and buy a jawbreaker to keep his mouth busy to stop his times jk

Okay then:

Cilan- Would make a fancy spaghetti dinner with lemon-zested sauce, meatballs (where he gets the meat is beyond me), and parmesean (sp?) cheese. Then, he and Iris would share the plate of fancy love-spaghetti, and accidentally slurp their lips together on one of the strands. What? No this isn't from Lady and the Tramp, what are you talking about haha

Iris- Maybe she could try and recreate that little snack she said she loves in that episode where she has that rematch with Grandpa Drayden. She and Cilan could share the same kabob and only a Pecha Berry (that looks like a heart coincidentally).

I had an idea of a topic myself:

If there were a WishfulShipping episode in the anime, what would it be about?

For me, I think that the Merry Band (that's what the narrator called them when Meowth was with them for a couple of episodes) would reunite with Luke and Zorua for more movie shenanigans. Both Cilan and Luke would adorably fanboy over movies, blah blah blah... But, the movie they're making is the Pokémon movie version of the famous German opera Tristan and Isolde. And, Cilan and Iris just so happen to get cast as the respective roles (Cilistan and Irisolde lol).

Since I haven't really seen or watched Tristan and Isolde and I just thought of this idea a few minutes ago, it's a little scatterbrained (just like me). You guys could add to it if you'd like!
