Wishfulshipping (Cilan x Iris) General Discussion - SPOILER WARNING

Seriously, I should stop being away from this thread, it's too hyperactive for me ;_;

I still didn't watch the last BW episodes so I can't answer the topics (stopped after Don Battle), I'm waiting for the subs but what you all say about Purrloin seems interesting. Dento is usually kind to everybody, maybe he thinks it's evil or something like that ?
I used to visit that website you talked about Tykira but all the fanarts there are in my Wishful collection on photobucket. Btw, that fanart you posted is really cute ! I should check pixiv tags more often. Dento afraid ftw. I wonder how Iris would react if he was actually afraid ?
And don't say that CupidKirby, it's nice to read others' POV about one episode. When you rewatch an episode, you usually notice something you didn't the first time.

I finally got a color printer, so I've been printing out pictures all day and glueing them to those peeling labels so I can make stickers. I made a couple Wishfulshipping ones and one with Ash staring at a Sandwich and stuck them to my laptop and calculator...am I obsessed?

No. With Dento clearly saying how Purrloin is a demon and that he's wary of it for what happened in the past (and wincing when he saw Purrloin in the movie) it's definitely just Purrloin. If he was afraid of Dark-Types he should have been scared of Scraggy/Scrafty/Mandibuzz too. Besides if it was types it'd seem less significant with Iris having a fear of Ice-types. In other words it'd be the "same old same old" but with different characters

Ok, I get it now. Wait, maybe he was trying to hide it with those three, but when he saw purrlion he got too scared and thats what happend! It's just a thought! And if thats not true, it would be cool if he had at least a pokemon (not purrlion) that eched a bad memorie into his past. I would like to have an episode where we learn more about Cilan's past. I can't wait for the new episode either!!^^ I finally watched the purrloin episode, thanks to poke_maniac :3 I can't wait til it's finally subbed. And I finally watched subbed version of the Nyarthigator/Scraggy and Zugg- uh, the evolved form of scraggy episode :-)

That is weird x3 but you know what I noticed? (More so in JP than English *even though I've only watched 13 full episodes of DUB*) That it seems like when Dento will talk/help Iris with different things he talks to her like she's a special or fragile thing to him. It's different to how he talks to Ash (which is more casual)...I'm just thinking about the times when Dento would say "Airisu," gently. I'm such a sucker for these things, also when he carried her backpack for her xDD

I've always thought Dent was just the ladies' man type, hence why he has so many fangirls. But you're right, he's still extra nicer to Iris than he is to any other girl we've seen him interact with. It's so cute to think about how sweet he is to her <3

I've been having a sticker fetish for a month now, going around everywhere to find Pokemon stickers. And when I finally did, it was a whole book that costed 17 dollars and only had stickers of Pokemon (no humans) in it. Still bought it, but if it had Wishful in it, I would've died happily.

I think she said somethng like "I'll go too" (keep in mind I could be wrong) but it was cute that she gave him that smile :3 I don't think Dento wanted her to leave, he looked a bit surprised when she left

As Ash and friends continue journeying to Nimbasa City, Iris is magically granted one wish. Looking fondly at Dento, she knew of her wish. She wanted a son.

Instantly, falling from the sky was something that wasn't a meteor! And no it was not bird droppings.

Dento and Iris carefully checked out the mystery creature.



At first glance, it was not what they expected. It was an ugly creature, with whiskers sticking out to the side and had some strange material on it's forhead.

Knowing that they couldn't let the poor creature suffer, Dento picks up the strange being and feeds him while Iris helpfully whips up some herbal medicine.



"Iris," Dento called over softly. "Did you finish the medicine yet?"

With that Iris swiftly got that and joined Dento's side and fed the creature it's medicine.



D'awww aren't they just the best parents? X3



Consulting the strange creature alone, they asked if it had a name. The monster lowered it's head and said it had none. Soon, an idea flickered in Dento's genius head.

"Let's name him Lassie!" he dramatically called out.




Iris rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Lassie is a collie's name. Hmm I think...Timmy fits him better."



Shocked, the creature didn't want to sound selfish, but he didn't like EITHER of those names!




Frantically, the young couple tried to cheer him up. "We're sorry! We're new at this" they both said somewhat flustered.

Suddenly, a stroke of genius hit Ash.

"Hey!" He called. "That's Team Rocket's Meowth!" Iris's eyes lit up.

"That's a GREAT name! We'll call him Meowth. What do you think Dento?"

Dento smiled. "It's perfect! He even looks like a cat kind of. It has a nice and sophisticated taste!~"



With that, It's Adoption Time and Iris throws the Poke Ball to seal the deal. The Poke Ball shakes three times and ends with a luminous CLICK!

Rejoicing on their new family member, Dento wraps Iris in his embrace and plants a soft kiss on her forhead. "It looks like our wish came true after all..."

Honestly I don't read fanfics (except ikari and another one from an anime) doo I can't answer that. A hint I like the best is the Meowth episode. They were pretty much friggen together the most. My votes on that :3

My favorite fanfiction...oh man this will be tough xD I like so many for this couple. I really like Blanket of Shadows by Writerdragon but there are many others I like as well ^^

As for my favorite hint....

I said this a bit before, but I really like it when Dento talks sweet and gentle to Iris (but CupidKirby did mention it also could be coz he was a ladies man, but hey it still helps this ship x3) I like all the "What a Pain -_-" gags with the two of them. I also liked BW014 which was all Dento/Iris interaction

My favourite hint is when Iris helps Dento when his pansage got hit by a rock and then became sick .I loved it because I think that helped a lot to a closer relationship and since then he started appreciating iris more :3
