Type effectiveness rework, which could disrupt the balance between types. It's very unlikely, we got new types in Gen II exactly because they were too unbalanced in Gen I, Psychic-types were overpowered. Plus, we don't really need any more type.

What exactly are the "rules" behind the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc? Do you have to beat the Elite Four before you can get it? How far into the game do you have to be before you can get it? Can you nickname it? (I believe the answer to this is no...) Etc... I got a pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc and a GBA/GC Connection cable...and I will get an uncloned shiny jirachi if it is the last thing I ever do... Thanks ahead of time!

You would have need to:

-Beaten Elite Four.
-Saved at Pokémon Centre.
-Have 5 or less Pokémon in your team.

The best thing I can think of is ghosts aren't usually out physically interacting with normal objects.

Because Dark is dirty fighting whereas Fight is more on a noble fighter.

Because Normal is the balance typing while it attacks can't effect Ghost in return ghost can't attack it back.

Because metal was brought in to weaken psychic and give fighting more type covered.
