Is there any reason why in the Dream World, obviously Chinese (PRC) accounts are marked as from JPN? I have made some Dream Pals and though their account names and their OT names clearly suggest a Chinese origin, all their accounts are marked as being from Japan instead.

I am a Chinese, albeit from Singapore, so I know what I am looking at. My own account is marked as SGP, if anyone wonders how my nationality is seen by outsiders.

They are probably playing a Japanese game. There is no official Chinese localization for Pokemon games. I'm sure they exist in the world of bootlegged media, which is common throughout Asia, but unofficial localizations of games wouldn't be able to connect to stuff like the Dream World.

There's no official Chinese game, so Chinese people plays with either English game or Japanese game.

If I recall correctly, if you play the Japanese game, your location in the Geonet is restricted into Japan, instead of being able to choose any country.

Could be a possible reason. I would have tested it if I knew Japanese. Given that I don't see any PRC person having an English version yet, this might be the case.

Examples:

or
Swadloon have more Defense (90) and Special Defense (80) than its evolution Leavanny (80 and 70)


If there isn't a list, do you know some others? It's really hard to compare all the Pokemons base stats.. ;D

Everything about Black/White Kyurem is based of Kyurem, so it's IVs, EVs, Nature, etc are from the Kyurem you use. If Black/White Kyurem gets EVs, it just goes to the Kyurem.

If I take a Meloetta to the Cafe in Castelia City, relearn Relic Song, then have it forget the move via that move deleter, does the Cafe event repeat itself if Relic Song isn't part of Meloetta's moveset?

I have a question! When breeding (specifically in Gen V, if that makes a difference), when is the outcome of the pokemon decided? It's not when it hatches, is it? Because twice in a row, I've gotten 3 female scraggys, the first with a Brave nature and the other two with Naive.
Is the outcome determined right when you get the egg?

I believe it is when the egg is created.

In Gen V, it's determined when you take the egg from the daycare man.

Darn, haha, so saving before the eggs hatching doesn't do anything :S
Well I saved once before I talked to the daycare man to get my egg, and I restarted a couple times and I got the same pokemon from that egg, so I guess it IS right when it is created.

Yeah that's why in some shiny MM videos on Youtube, the person knows which egg will hatch the shiny pokémon; because they already got the shiny, but saved before it and resetted to show the viewers the egg hatching.

Im soft-reseting for well IVd Kyogre. Would a mixed sweeper Kyogre w/ Naughty be good? If so, what ev spread? Earthquake, Calm Mind, Surf, Thunder. Im also looking for Bold Nature. Any good Ev spreads for a Bold Kyogre?

It has 90 base Def and 140 base SDef, you might as well reduce the already lower one instead of reducing its second best stat, so go for Lonely, not Naughty.

A good EV spread would be 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpA.

And yes, you mustn't reduce Kyogre's 140 SpD by sticking with a naughty nature.

There's no point in going mixed for Kyogre, it will almost always hit harder w/ just special moves (I'm sure there are a couple obscure examples that it won't, but eh).

The only reason to have physical attacks on Kyogre is to beat Blissey 1-on-1. It can't beat Chansey though, even like that. Seems better to just have a dedicated way past Blissey than to ruin your Kyogre like that.
