Hey guys I'm new here and I have a question about Pokemon White. Excuse me it's pretty long...
I'm in Driftveil City and I just won the Quake Badge. Now I'm considering changing my team so it's a little bit better. Here's my planned team:
Fire: Darmanitan (Later change to Volcanora)
Water/Rock: Corracosta
Grass: Sawsbuck
Flying: Unfezent (Later change to Zekrom)
Bug/Steel: Escavalier (Later change to another legendary like Meleotta or Kyurem)
Dragon: Haxorus
*My current team:
Fire/Fighting: Emboar (Trade)
Water: Samurott
Grass: Serperior (Trade)
Bug/Steel: Escavalier
Rock: Gigalith
Flying: Unfezent
How's my planned team? Is it balanced (like in types and physical/special attacks)
Is it bad? If so, what can I change?
Just to add, Reshiram in W2 also still has the shiny lock.
Are you able to get a shiny Snivy in White 2?

In a bit simpler terms than those used on the new breeding mechanics page on Serebii, could someone explain how to increase the chance of passing down a certain ability via breeding? I want to breed a Vullaby (who can only be female, not sure if that matters) with the ability Overcoat. I had a bit trouble understanding the explanation on the breeding mechanics place. Keep in mind this is for Black and White 2.
Thanks ahead of time![]()

If you want to breed Vullaby with overcoat, first you need a Vullaby/Mandibuzz with Overcoat. Then breed it and it can have overcoat or its other ability.
(I think) To definatly give it overcoat breed the overcoat Vullaby with overcoat with Ditto and I think I should get Overcoat.
And any good ideas for a doubles partner for DW Blaziken? I was thinking of something like Lanturn, DW Luxray, DW Tropius. Any suggestions would be great![]()
No, if you use a Ditto then the chance to pass the ability becomes the standard 50/50
To make it 80/20, the partner must be anything but Ditto
Basically, just breed the Overcoat Vullaby/Mandibuzz with something that's compatible with it that's not Ditto, and the baby has 80% chance to get Overcoat, with 20% chance to get Big Pecks instead.
Hello!
I have a female Ferroseed, a male Cacturne that knows Spikes, and a male Boldore that knows Stealth Rock. Is it possible, using the aforementioned Pokemon, to breed both Stealth Rocks and Spikes onto a Ferroseed offspring? If yes, how would I do it?
Thanks!
as long as stealth rock and spikes are egg moves and the parents are compatable then yes. if you breed the ferroseed with the caturne try to get a female with spikes and afterwards breed it with the blodore to get stealth rock or vice versa. it may take a bit but it does work.
When a pokemon with a hidden ability evolves, will it keep a hidden ability even if it isn't the same one? Like Eevee with Anticipation --> Vaporeon with Hydration. Or could the Vaporeon also have its regular ability?

Hidden abilities are passed on. If the eevee has a hidden, then whatever you evolve it into will have its hidden ability. I don't think it is possible for a hidden ability pokemon to revert to a natural ability.
For my question, is there anywhere on Serebii.net or any other site that lists pokemon by the type of ev bonus they give from defeating them? As in, a list of pokemon that give defense ev and then a separate list of those that give attack, and so on.
