I thought this question might fit better here than the hack checking thread.
Can a Pokemon have an OT in Japanese characters? I have a few on Black 2 that I got from GTS. I know they typically translate into English characters with an odd looking font, but is there a reason that they could remain in Japanese characters? Or is it an indication of being hacked?
possibly dumb question, but for all the IV checker, i need to check the EV and IV of the pokemon im training, and stat from a few levels right?

To check IVs, go to Kiloude city and talk to the purple-haired gentleman in the Pokemon Center. He will list off the IVs you have maxed on a Pokemon. If you're looking to see how many EVs a Pokemon already has trained (assuming you're looking for specific numbers and not just the chart), get a reset bag, save your game, then use the reset bag. It will state how many EVs have been deducted from each stat, which are the numbers it sounds like you're looking for. Then, soft reset the game to get your reset bag back.
Hopefully that helped, I apologize if I misinterpreted your question.
@Au Au Thanks!
For some reasons, I can't agree to this. Why were some fairy type pokemons consider fairy types even though they don't look like one? Anyone?
I have a female Abra with the nature, ability, and egg moves I want. The female Abra has perfect speed IV's. The male Abra has the same ability, nature, and egg moves, but a perfect defense IV. How do I breed these two Abras together to get a Abra with the same nature, ability, egg moves, AND both perfect IV's?
The egg moves will be passed down no matter what, and if you're worried about them being overwritten in the daycare with level-up moves those changes won't take affect until you take the Pokemon out.
The ability passed down is luck-based, but if the female Abra has the ability you want then the child has an 80% chance of having it too.
If you give them the Everstone and a Power Item, everything but the second IV will most likely be passed down. There is no way to ensure the second perfect IV is passed down, though, as there are only two Pokemon to give items to. However, it should be noted that even without the Destiny Knot three IVs will be passed down, and since the Power Item fixes one of those into place the chances of the second IV being passed down are 2/5 (that the stat is selected) x 1/2 (That the stat is inherited from the right Abra), making it a 1/5 chance of the child having both perfect IVs.
So if you give one Abra the Everstone, and the other a Power Item, every child will have guaranteed right egg moves and nature. Each one will have a 1/5 chance of having two IVs, and if you get one of those there's an 80% chance that it will have the right ability as well.
"Never argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."
Thank you! Got the two perfect IV's first egg.
In Pokemon X, I used surf while in a cave, and the huge rock in the background split in half and fell over. At the end of the battle I received an item. What is this? D: I see berry trees in the background of other battles as well. What is their purpose?
Check Wild item mechanigs page in X and Y section.

Concerning chain-fishing, do I need to battle pokemon I hook, or can I run away from them if they are not shiny.
I'm 30 hooks in, and I'm willing to battle all hooked mons, but if I can run I will and it'll be much more efficient.

Whats Up Slick?
If you trade a Pokémon, then get it back, will it's Amie 'stats' reset?
Spoiler:- Shinies I'm after:
