What Gyarados should REALLY be able to learn is Roost because all the other flying Pokemon can use it. Hurricane doesn't suit it.

Roost only really makes sense for Pokemon that are capable of flying in the same way that birds are. Gyarados does not.

Ummmm all the Flying types that can't know Acrobatics should learn it. I mean if Archeops can flip in someone's face then its great offsprings should be able to by genetics.

Waterfall should go to Seismitoad and Kingler.

Excadrill-Stone Edge even if its an "Uber with Sandstorm" it can still use it.

How high they can fly isn't relevant. It's moreso what they use to keep themselves afloat. Roost is more for Pokemon that need to use wings to fly. Gyarados does not have wings, it just sort of floats or leaps.

I thought Roost was just landing on the ground to rest their wings after long periods of flight or in Pokemon case, fighting. I don't think feathers have to have roost. So I believe it can be usable to all flying types or things capable of flight.

It can learn by move tutor huh? Didn't know and Thanks. Though it (Serperior) should learn it by level up....

Also Onix and Steelix are based off snakes not worms so why can't they learn Coil?
