Hiya peeps. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and turned up nothing. I'm an experienced poké-gamer, but I just ran into a situation.
I was hatching eggs and checking each hatchling's IVs, like normal, as I have been for years. Typically I attach an EXP Share, level the little guys up to 20 or so against high level pokemon, and then check their IVs. If the IVs don't cut it, I release the pokemon.
I was doing this at about 8am, half-awake, and I had that moment of panic where I forgot to REMOVE THE EXP SHARE BEFORE I RELEASED THE POKÉMON. (Sorry for caps lock, that is me kicking myself).
So, is there any way to recover an important item that a released pokémon was holding? Or am I out of luck?
Also: It says there are two EXP Shares in Black/White. I forget which one I already have, but I can't figure out where to obtain the other one. All it says in the guide is "gift." Gift from who?

the one in castelia is in the battle company on mode street. you have to defeat the janitor on the 55th floor. i don't know how many trainers are before him, so i can't help you much. the one in icirrus is from the fan club president. show him a pokemon that you raised 25 to 49 levels to get the exp share...

I never use the Exp. Share in B/W ever since I got the free Lucky Egg.
Just attach the Lucky Egg, put the Pokemon as the first in the team, then after you sent it out in battle, switch it with a stronger Pokemon.
Much quicker EXP that way, especially if you battle a high-level Pokemon.
Is the GTS server down for anyone else as well? I keep getting Error Code: 13275
I tested it out and managed to log on to the GTS and use it just fine. Are you trying to use the regular GTS or Negotiations?
That error code is just the generic "The GTS server is down/overloaded with players; please try again later". So I'm not sure what to tell you, besides try again in an hour or so. Is this your first time logging on?

Hey, do you know whether Pokecheck or VGC Tournament Checkers are better?

So, I decided to take the Pokemon Personality Quiz on DragonflyCave.com. I answered all of the questions honestly and got... this.
I don't know what the writer was smoking.
Hey! I just got an Axew through trade. I think I'm going to EV train it in Speed and Defense. Is this a good move or not?

So I'm breeding a Male Stunfisk with a Female Dratini.....the Stunfisk has 31 Defence IV and a Power Belt but so far none of the offspring have the 31 in Defence. Is this because the IVs can get overwritten by the Dratinis Ivs (sure I read something like that on bulbapedia once) or is my Stunfisk broken or something....?
The IV calculator looks like this...dratiniiv.jpg...does that mean it could have either 26 OR 31 Defence IV and that, as I know I'm breeding from a 31 IV parent, I can assume that it actually has 31?

First, what is its nature? There's really no point in EV-training a Pokemon with a bad nature, and your EVs should reflect the nature that it has. Haxorus has a monster Attack stat - you definitely need to put 252 EVs in Attack. If I were you, I would do 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe, or 4 Def (since you want EVs in Defense)/252 Atk/252 Spe. There's no point in shirking yourself EVs in Haxorus's best stat.
I don't know what IV Calculator that is, but it looks to me like it's saying that the IV is either 26 or 31. If Stunfisk is holding the Power Belt, it should pass on Stunfisk's Defense IV no matter what, unless Dratini is also holding a Power Belt for some reason.

Okay well that sounds like a plan. I'll do the 4 Def/252 Atk/252 Spe

Are you playing in-game or competitive? Follow the advice you've been given if you're in-game, but if competitive, go 36 HP/252 Attack/220 Speed. Smogon recommends this as
36 HP EVs allow Haxorus to always survive Reuniclus's Psychic, as well as allowing Haxorus a chance to survive many powerful attacks even through Stealth Rock, such as Landorus's Life Orb Earthquake. These EVs can be transferred to Speed, giving Haxorus the jump on other Haxorus as well as any Pokemon with base 95 Speed and a neutral nature. However, the ability to survive the attacks of the before-mentioned threats is a wiser investment than getting the possibility of tying with other Haxorus.
