All of the stones can rarely be found in those dirt mounds that appear in caves.

I recommend searching at the entrance of the Training cave due to how small it is, and because there's no ledges or anything for the dust piles to appear on that would require you to take a roundabout route.

I'm just wondering, but in order to get the National Dex you need to see all the Pokemon in the Isshu Regional dex right? Zorua is included in this? If yes then how do you see it without doing the event for it, does a trainer have it in the game that you can battle? Thanks in advance.

If you go to the building in Hiun City where the event usually occurs, the girl there will show you a picture of Zorua that will get registered in your Pokedex.

You aren't required to get the Isshu Dex to get the National Dex it is just given to you after the first time of seeing the credits.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but how frequently are HM's used in this region?
In other games I had to base my team around the massive usage of Fly and Surf, and sometimes other things. But I want to know is teaching Surf to your pokemon that necessary? And is the land well connected enough that Fly is not as needed? Thanks in advance

Very rarely tbh. I found that I hardly ever needed HMs at all; even Surf only had a few moments where I was forced to use it iirc. However, I recommend you keep Fly handy. Due to the 'circular' nature of the region, you have a lot of walking to do if you opt against Fly.

I can't believe that this game use only "cut" HM to progress story it is use only to access abandon a lot dream, surf, water fall, strength, dive is use only to access other place to grab item, catch pokemon etc. it is not need to progress a story line at all.

Post game after I grab all item only HM that I kept is surf and fly.

Thats what I figured. I guess Fly is always going to be a necessity no matter what generation of pokemon we are on. But now that there is less water to explore and less need for Surf, I can maybe explore having a physical water type that doesn't have to resort to using Surf as its primary water move!!

    Abagoura or Basurao maybe???

I think it's a great thing, actually. It's much better than having to look for your HM slaves whenever you were in need of getting somewhere you could't reach otherwise. Now, you can finally have your full team with you on the road and not have to constantly resort to using a different team depending on where you are in the region.

Everyone I've talked to has said that only the Movie Celebi works for the Zorua event, and it makes sense since it's the only Celebi event that has that special flag.

EDIT: In fact, on this page, under "Game locations", it specifically states that a Fateful Encounter Celebi is needed. There's also a link on there which will take you to a page about the Fateful Encounter flag.
Oh I see! thank you! I could have sworn I saw that any Celebi would do for the zorua I must have misread the info. Thanks!

Well son of a *****. That sucks (the fact that I got a fake Celebi, that is). I'll have a look with whom I traded to get it, damn.

Are there any ways to get the pinch Berries? Right now, it seems like Gluttony is quite a useless ability without them.

Is it true that the level of experience your pokemon gains depends on the level of your Pokemon in relation to your opponent? I can't remember where I heard this...

Xerneas, the Midgard Pokemon. Xerneas's branch-like horns are reminiscent of those
of the tree it guards. Its mighty horns contain jewels of dazzling colours. It chomps at
upper branches by craning its neck toward the sky. Xerneas protects the horizontal world.

The only pinch berries that seem to be obtainable presently are the Lansat and Starf berries, which are rewards from winning a whopping 105 and 203 consecutive battles on the Super Single train respectively.

    Yes.

As an example, a level 1 Pokemon of mine gained 12K EXP after a level 67 Pokemon was defeated, whereas the level 70 who actually KO'd it got about 3.5K.

I don't know what's wrong with the game, but when I try to put a Chobomaki on the GTS in search for a Kapurumo, it tells me the Chobomaki -freshly caught- is not a legit pokemon (13267). Which is weird because I put up a Feebas which I had just caught and it went smoothly.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

The GTS might just be acting up a bit.

Are you using the real game cartridge, or through different methods?

So, my question is - what are the possible ways of training pokemon after receiving national dex ? My pokemon are all lvl 49-55 and I wanted to explore the upper right part of the map. However, all the trainers' pokemon are about 65-70 level ! Elite 4 and Adeku - 70+
It's almost impossible to beat them. Where can I battle trainers of my lvl to gain EXP ?
And no, I'm not going to battle bilion wild pokemon to raise level by 2. Even with lucky egg, it's a pain. And no suicide races.
Also - is the only place you can go into in Black City a Pokemon Center ?

Unfortunately, the best way to level up would be to battle Tabunnes. They do give a lot of Exp though so it shouldn't take too long to get your Pokemon up to reasonable levels. Try the the first patch of grass you see on the route to the east of Souryuu City.

No, there are a few houses and a shop as well.

Unfortunately, you just have to endure it. Can be tricky, but with the xp mechanics, yours will catch up in level pretty fast. Also, wild pokes are at LEAST 50 in that area, 60ish in double battles, so they are worth a bit more xp than you might be thinking.
